This is not clear. She started as jazz/soul/whatever singer. Growling and metal started later.
She has perfect technique, breath control, posture, modifying wovels, her range is also impressive. Not talking about her growls (behind those is again perfect technique), in which she beats even lot of male singers.
Thing is, she said she doesnt do warmups etc. If she has no education/extensive training whatsoever, then its some super rare breed, kinda hard to believe. You can be born with talent, but not technique. So either she is so talented, that just few years of singing jazz made her catch and learn all tricks in her sleeves (and there is just too many of them), like some natural born vocal beast, OR she has really good training, on top of that being really really talented - which is without any doubt.

@Semi Sinister no. She specifically said no "practice" and not "vocal coaching". Some of the greatest singers are self taught, that doesn't mean they don't practice
Just when I think she can’t say anything else that would put her over anymore, she says she loves Native American music. 😍😍😍😍 being native myself, it’s very rare any of my peers listens to Native American music, or even acknowledges our existence at all. Most famous people don’t bother uttering the words Native American. So much love and unbelievable respect for her.

@@antoniop3352 Thats not true at all schools teach about it, there are many institutions as well even in our nations capital of D.C. there is an entire museum dedicated to the natives here and everything bought there a large percentage is given back to them. Stop spreading false ignorance.

Question when did Indian become a bad term? I grew up in Northern Michigan and there were reservations everywhere We always referred to Native American's as Indians and they were ok with it. when did it become bad?

Astrology prediction and all that is hogwash, but the general traits of the signs do seem to have something to them. Doesn't seem outlandish that the part of the year you're born in could have an effect on your personality.
Totally agree with you, Anderson. Using astrology for predictions is just dumb, but zodiac traits are very real if you do research. I have studied many people from the same birthdates or signs, and you find tons of coincidences amongst them, compared to other people.
people from Ukraine are generally like that. very honest, very blunt. my wife is Ukrainian, she is the same way. everyone i met when i was there was also like that.
She does seem to be very intelligent. Also, she really seems a genuinely NICE person. Which is a quality that seems to be harder, and, harder to find now a days.

That she does. I wouldn't know anything about it, but my wife says she really knows her way around a makeup brush. And when you think about how she manages to put makeup on that will last her for an entire live set... she's gotta know what she's doing!
@@felipej674 Actually she has a video on YT about there stage make up and she does it as she speaks. As far as make-up lasting... If you put on a primer before and a finsher after, it will last. I use waterproof make up. 😁

If you're interested in getting into rock and metal try out babymetal, their songs are cute and fun. Also try linkin park and korn maybe some slipknot and papa roach and system of a down, and Disturbed are good bands to start your journey and learn about metal until you find your favorite sound of metal and rock. dio, black sabbath, judas Priest, metallica, megadeth, mudvayne, alice in chains, queen (best classicrock band in my opinion), jimi hendrix all classic artists that you might like heavy yet melodic. Maximum the hormone and uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai are japanese bands that write their songs for fun only and they're never serious, they're really fun. Good luck.

Her energy is so amazing. Weather she is singing or talking she project this raw and unfiltered energy that is so refreshing and pure. I wish there were more people like her. Plus she is so stunningly beautiful.
If I already didn’t have enough respect for her, I do now. I certainly appreciate the Native American portion of this video and how she has an actual interest in it when it’s sad that most of our heritage and tradition is slowly being forgotten, especially by the youth. But, this makes me proud to know one of my artists enjoys powwow music. 🤘🤘

@Bloviator Magnus she isn't vegan tho lol. She eats mostly vegan but has said many times she isn't able to be strict about it 100% of the time. Tons of smokers are in shape.
I met the band this year they were very humble and put on an amazing show.
Tatiana is so awesome in person, and an incredible singer. I wish her and the rest of the guys in Jinjer all the best!!

Jinjer is an awesome group, great vocals, great bassist and drummer. Guitar too, if course. They are the culmination of the best of metal, technical deathcore. This is metal of the 2010s. I am listening to metal since the 1980 and I am happy that this is the metal of the moment

I just absolutely love her, her vocal range opens so clear contrast changes even though the writing on jinjers instrumental side isn't something to forget. Absolutely my favourite band and lead singer in years.

After watching a couple of interviews with Alissa from Archenemy this girl is such a breath of fresh air. I got nothing against Vegans but that girl rubs me the wrong way. I just got into JinJer and her vocals are top tier in every way.

I never did (and I've been singing classical and metal for 19 years now) but I can say for sure a cold or, even worse, a flu can really mess up your voice. Then you should just cure it out first before thinking about singing.

I'd love someone to go in depth with Tatiana and the boys regarding their thoughts about the fighting happening in their home country at the moment.
There's a war going on, essentially between the forces that support Russia, and those who support NATO (or at least an independent Ukraine state). It would be a fascinating conversation.
Judging by this interwiew and everything I guess she would die for ukraine independence or something like that.

Just discovered Jinjer tonight when I finally got curious enough to check out the live version of Pisces on a Reaction video. I watched several and really enjoyed the shocked and stunned look on the reactors faces. Tatiana impressed me with her unique talent to sing and do a screaming growling male like (is it thrash metal) voice. Pisces kind of shocked me for an instant but like always I snap out of my initial shock very quickly and have fun with it. I was curious tho if Tatiana ever watches reaction videos of Pisces or other songs I haven't checked out yet, to see the shock and awe her singing causes in many other people. Some reactors are quite hilarious as some people can't handle things that are out of the ordinary and they take longer to recover and get their senses back. :)))

Her English is really quite good, better than a lot of Americans I have met. A smart and talented girl. She is sincere and knows what she likes. She should give up cigarettes though. She is young still and in great health. But they will eventually fuck up your singing ability, just give it time.
rbagel55 She's graduated from one of the best universities in Ukraine in terms of studying English) It is quite funny as I often met her as a student of a similar faculty but never expected her and Jinjer to become one of the greatest musicians at the metal scene)
I figured that just by the way she talks and presents herself that she is no bimbo. Her overall sex appeal is WAY up there, like off the charts. But I agree, Jinjer is definitly one of the more interesting metal bands out there, they have gotten my attention.
