Today I'm sharing my high protein breakfast smoothie! This has been my go-to smoothie recipe lately while I'm on my postpartum weight loss journey.
High Protein Smoothie Recipe 💪🏻
Serves 1
Ingredients:
✨10-12 oz. water
✨2 scoops Autumn's Chocolate Protein Powder (Or Autumn's Vanilla Protein Powder)
✨1/2 cup full fat skyr
✨2 scoops unflavored collagen
✨1 Tbsp. hemp seeds
✨2 Tbsp. almond butter (or peanut butter)
✨2 brazil nuts
✨1/2 cup frozen blueberries
✨optional 1 tsp. maca powder
Blend and serve!

5 months been having the strawberry smoothis as meal replacement. Works so good with IF and great way to break a fast. Helps me keep my protein intake up. Enjoy blueberries too.

Omg. I’ve been wanting to try this smoothie for MONTHS. Finally got everything for the recipe minus Brazil nuts but it’s SO GOOD 🤤🤤 gonna try to get Brazil nuts now lol
I did lose weight drinking one of these per day....no Brazil nuts, but chia seed! And it tastes delicious!! 😊 Its now my go-to.👍
Flax seeds are beneficial, as well. Good source of fiber.
For how long?

I'm curious about the protein powder. I've been doing a lot of reading about reducing weight and insulin resistance associated with PCOS and most of what I've read said that whey protein and dairy is not ideal (recs for hemp protein and non dairy alternatives). I'd be curious about your thoughts on the subject.

This looks delicious! I love smoothies with fresh fruit for breakfast in the warm months, but I just can't bring myself to consume something cold for breakfast in winter, and we get real proper cold here for 6 months of the year. Do you have any go-to warm breakfasts?

Hi! I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I subscribed. I really need to loose weight because I am very overweight but I am also 6 months postpartum and breastfeeding. I’ve very concerned about loosing milk supply if I start to fast. What can I do and how to I adjust my protein/fat/ carb intake to make sure I don’t dip in breast milk supply.

I would look for a zero sugar, zero artificial sugar collagen. The unflavored collagen options are always a good go-to. For a protein powder swap, you can use extra Greek yogurt and some unsweetened cocoa powder, however it won’t have the same exact taste.
I tried the Vital Proteins collagen powder on its own and found it caused my face to massively breakout (embarrassing when you’re 40!!).
Any thoughts on why that would happen? Or an alternative source of collagen that could be used?
Maybe look into histamine intolerance.. all foods have histamine so it cant be entirely avoided but some foods are higher than others and can cause issues with some people. Collagen is high histamine. If you have any other symptoms like irritability, migraines, getting flushed, I would check that out. I share because it has improved my health so much to be aware of what foods are high histamine and taking a supplement that helps me breakdown histamine in my meals.
Can we swap cranberries for blueberries? I'm into buying cranberries during the winter season. Thanks, Autumn!
I haven’t tried that, so I’m not sure how it will taste, but you can definitely experiment with using it instead of blueberries!

I have read on multiple sites that hemp seeds contain all 9 essential amino acids, therefore are a complete protein. Can you please show me where it is not a complete protein?

would it be possible for you to tell us what is full fat / full protein dairy product, in my country they have to write the contents, but they don't use terms like "full fat" or "full protein" so I don't know what to expect... it took me way too long to figure out that 3.5 % is full fat milk 🤦♂ it's just too hard to find that info in a way you're sure of what you're reading

Are you aware that whey protein can’t be digested by someone with dairy allergies? Also, women and menopause should only use pea protein.

I have a separate spoon for each wet item to scoop. Have a bowl to store used spoons. No mess and No contamination- dirty spoons would fill the same load in the dishwasher anyway. I might have a little
