Great video. Lots of good action and Bob was lucky to escape alive from the skillpods. A shame you didn't include comms, as it would have been great to hear the coordination.
Nice video😉....as a mostly Axis player i've to notice once more some features allied planes have such the unbelievable lethality of the .50 rounds especially from a P51( almost ever pilot killed...last time that happen to me with the unbelievable amount of 4 bullets) , the difficulty to ear a p51 coming behind you and finally notice that in case of a collision axis pilot instantly died while allied pilot quietly ditched whistling a song....ok that's it....hard life for late war axis pilot. have to become better pilot though
@@rring44 I've been a sim pilot since 2001 (approx. 5000 flight hours) and have been in 3 virtual squadrons. I've also flown a Black Shape Prime with a flight instructor in real life. Do you always judge people you have no idea about...???
@@rring44 I was really successful at "cliffs of dover" with the 109 E4. in il2 great battles even many pilots on the allied side say that with the fw190 a you should just dive down, shot and then flee quickly because the plane loses almost every maneuver. the flight behavior of the 109 and 190, il2 stalingrad, is taken absolutely unrealistic. has nothing to do with me, you hear it everywhere.

Its just the damage model. Ive been hit and died but the other plane kept flying perfectly fine. Its what we all have to deal with.

Please what gun convergence do you use for P-51?
I usually have it at 200. But lately I've opened up to 230. My gunnery still sucks at .50 cals 🤣

German Planes are absolutly bad in IL2, i only fly DCS, the balancing is better.
