Jion is a favorite amongst many karateka, both new, seasoned, and retired. It has strong symmetry, and emphasis on combination movements of the hands and legs. The rhythm for this kata as well is very beautiful and fun to practice. Not to mention it's eclectic use of different stances, from zenkutsu dachi, kiba dachi, kokutsu dachi, and kosa dachi.

Sensei on 30th july I have my international karate tournament aand I will be participating on both kata and kumite. I am a yellow belt in seshinkai shito-ryu karate. My sensei told me to do jion and in my sensei's instructions I could not understood the kata but you helped me alot

You can always get it tailored if the pants or sleeves are too long.
