It probably goes without saying, but normally you might "step down" the cut (12" down to 6", then down to 3"), for a cleaner cut, and less stress on the grass. But I believe that you proved your point. I wouldn't have thought it could be done. Good job!
Definitely would, normally.
The question is usually whether a cordless mower can conquer foot tall grass. That cord is showing the signs of getting overloaded, the way it's going all wavy.
Naw, it's still good. It's been outside through all the weather for over a decade, I've only recently started getting zapped here and there when I touch nicked up parts.
You are right, it needs replaced, but the warping could also be from sun damage and constantly getting wet then baked in the sun everyday.
@@oldgoatdiy LOL, that made me smile about getting zapped. Yeah, it still works. Use an RCD and no real need to worry.
Yep it's plugged in to one. We call it a GFCI here, not sure if it's cause we think we're special or if we just like being different.
@@oldgoatdiy I'm in the UK. I enjoy the way things are called different things in The States.
Much more powerful than a battery powered mower which will shut off if it gets too warm. Sounds about as powerful as a gas mower though. Impressive.
Have that problem with my corded mower. It gets warm then I am forced to take a break.
I have both a battery-powered lawn mower and 120 volt one I haven't had that problem yet with my battery powered one yet. Yes I know it's possible
What brand did ya go with? 40v?
Well, sorry dude, right off the bat, it doesn't have any balls.
How so? See you make statement, but can't articulate why you feel that way.
You just made that mower look like c***And you gotta drag a cord behind you.
It is a corded model, so yeah that's what ya do with them.
