- Wooda House is a unique wooden house built on stilts on the ocean in a small fisherman village called Old Town on a tropical island Koh Lanta in the South of Thailand.

The location is the Old Town in Koh Lanta, a very cozy local area with nice restaurants, souvenir shops and coffeeshops, about 10 km from the beaches. From the Old Town, you can take many day trips, go fishing, kayaking and more.

This house built on the Andaman sea is not a typical holiday retreat. It is your chance to get really close to local life as you sit on the deck and see the fishermen go out every day.

You understood the assignment. This house is the perfection of modern but everything is still Thai inspired by the environment. I love it. Unlike my mom who didn’t have style and built a wooden inspired house but with all concrete and slaps patches all over it just look like we built the home ourselves lol 😂

We also love travelling as an intergenerational family, so if you have any properties suitable for 8-10 people, it would be good to add grandparents or aunties into the mix.
