Thank you for bringing us Shaye's beautiful home. Your channel is making a massive difference in the tiny home world. Congrats on seven years of documenting the journey!
Competitive diver, loving mum, builder of beautiful homes, nurturer of plants and chickens.... This lady does it all!!! What a great example she's setting for her daughter and young women everywhere. Very impressive.
I love that she made privacy for her daughter too. One thing I’ve noticed is parents will move into a tiny home with their kid or teen and they have to space to themselves, I think it’s so important for someone growing up to have their own private space
I see that too. They’ll pop out one after another thinking kids don’t want or need privacy because they don’t.However you chose your partner and you chose to surrender that privacy. The kids dont. So either only stick to one or build with the understanding that they will get older.

She gets that and approaches tiny houses in a dynamic way, it has to have the ability to evolve and chance according to your life and circumstances, without having to start from 0. This is gorgeous and I can tell why she was able to make a business out of this, best tiny house I've ever seen.
@Shaye Boddington wow! I never thought you'd see my comment! Yes, dynamic is what I thought when I saw you talking about the future and never knowing where it takes you. That's something that doesn't just limit to our personal lives and growth, but also our surroundings and space (which people sadly forget, like you said). Such a pleasure seeing your creations! Cant wait to see what you'll do in the next 10 years. Greetings from Berlin!
I grew up with 6 plus my parents in 3 rooms Gramma lived across the road and didn't have it any bigger. We did just fine. We were busy playing outside except in Winter. Then we came in and watched TV or played board games. Size of house was never an issue. It was the size of the great outdoors that captured our interest. Still does. And yes we were close knit. Still are the ones that are still living. It's all in what you make of what you have.
It's my pet peeve when watching home and real estate shows: the parents always assume the kids want to spend every waking moment in their company. Thus their insistence on wasteful McMansions with five bedrooms, five baths, and mega-kitchens. All of which will be empty and lonely in just a few years when the kids retreat to their rooms until moving out. Love Shaye's thoughtful approach.
I have trouble understanding what she means though. The top of her kitchen is flat, I mean I can understand the concept, but I just am unsure of where it is utilized in her kitchen.

I’ve been obsessed with watching tiny house videos for about 6 weeks now, and this one is definitely the most glamorous of all I’ve seen! It’s two years old as I watch it, would love to see her other creations. Just stunning. 🥰
I think she used to make eating disorder recovery videos on UA-cam if I'm not mistaken. Really chill and down to earth. So nice to see another side of her life and gorgeous personality.
Frankly, I was appalled that, despite the avowed focus on future-proofing, it was confined to her own comforts, whereas the daughter, age 5, got only a few inches of headroom in her own bedroom, since the bathroom, below it, if I recall correctly, got a fairly high ceiling, of course benefiting the mother, not the daughter. Otherwise, I was vexed that the mother kept putting _little_ in front of the girl's name, as if the mother delights herself by infantalizing the girl. Paradoxically, though, I was relieved that she called the girl "monkey", revealing that I wasn't the only child who suffered this chronic dehumanization from female caretakers.
How is this possible? It seems like every episode I watch, I say “Oh, absolutely my favorite!”, I click 'save' and feel certain I’ve found THE one. But this ... this one truly makes my heart sing. :) Stunning on all fronts - thank you for allowing us to visit!

I really love this one too. I like how it’s modular and the spare room is attached but separate. A great way to host an air B&B or bed and breakfast without strangers in your actual space while you are sleeping. Adding two rooms like she has with a shared bathroom between would be a perfect set up. That porch is amazing. Love the clear panels and garden roof combo. Every time I think I’m over the tiny house idea I get sucked back in. ❤️ this is the best one yet. Might be hard to top this.
This has to be the cleverest, most beautiful and forward thinking home of any size I've ever seen. The design, the finishes, the clever use of space and mirrors, the modular additions possibility to make it bigger if needed (so important with kids in the picture), it's perfect I love that Shaye doesn't have enough stuff to fill this little home! The opposite of how we would be, lol.
This is a design master piece! I keep going back to this model over and over and asking all the builders I've contacted if they can incorporate some of my favourites features of this home...and the answer is always "we don't build custom models", and their models suck!!
definitely, she is down to earth, a strong mother, a creative personality and a business woman, she doesn't need many clothes or personal belongings because she probably enjoys living in real life, building up memories and enjoying experiences, she spreads out smiles and positive vibes. we only get to live once and we should not obsess about objects but enjoy being happy together with our loved ones. I wish her all the best to find a suitable candidate that will make her and her daughter happy, but they are already the happiest they could be, however, I can see that she would like to have more children and every child is happier having the company of a sibling. I like that she keeps a nice and a decent relationship and friendship with her ex, no hard feelings, moving forward, that her daughter is her universe and she is happy doing what she loves most. she has accomplished a dream life and writing a book would be lovely to share with us about her own journey to happiness😊 lovely home ❤ greetings from the UK !
@@XxjosemitoxX That's true, but then I was thinking that the girl can probably eventually move downstairs to have the study as a room or that they could expand there when she grows out of it.
There is one thing that I just realized about the people in these stories, they are proud, happy, highly intelligent, etc. and bragging in such a way that is not offensive. Sincerely, Bobbie.
She is hard to listen to however. The volume of her voice keeps going up and down. I adjusted the volume of my computer 4 times before I gave up and just started watching, catching a word only here and there. Not irritating, the house is wonderful and so is she, but disappointing. I would have liked to hear her. (It's better inside.)
Shaye is a true entrepreneur, a talented hardworking woman with a great sense of syle. The practicalities of this build are amazing, the way the kitchen is built to allow walking space in the bedroom above is superb. The hallway between the rooms upstairs is sensible, using one set of stairs is practical. Shaye has used fabulous timbers in her build too, adding to the overall beauty. Having a large deck with the covered roof, part of it insulated with plants is gorgeous. Shaye is a definite star in the tiny house design movement. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for filming this update.
For every house that you show on this channel I think: "This one's the best!" And then the next one comes around... Thank you for sharing such beautiful stories with us. It always lifts my spirit and makes me feel good. Much love to you both Bryce and Rasa ❤️
I hate to be mr. negative and disagree with people, but I think this is hands down the #1 most beautiful and clever tiny house. Been looking for many designs for my own project, and I'll just steal everything from this one. Just need to save another 99.5k~ roughly, because I'm at 500$ right now
@@bananamush6335 We used to call these Trailer Trash homes , but i guess the Gov have to make it all trendy because you will never afford a real home with your carbon zero goal.
@@bananamush6335 I felt that. Just another 99.5K for me too. I hate to agree with people, but I've looked at many, many and this is indeed "the #1 most beautiful and clever tiny house".
Definitely. Pretty much every channel I go to-- at least the comment section is-- a little bit toxic in some way... this channel is all positive and I love it.
I don't know how a "tiny house" could get any better. This one is very near perfection - in every way. WOW! This is the best of the best that you have had on your channel.
I just recently got a inspiration for a tiny house for myself. Plan is in motion and hopefully I'll have the place in 5-6 years. I've been going through these videos like crazy.
@@nikos-giorgos It's very standard size with an added room that wouldn't even take away from it much were it not there. Obviously that part is optional and doesn't change how brilliant the main house design is. And many people have put huge covered porches that double their living space. Still a tiny house all the way and just extended with visual and engineering techniques.
Out of all the tiny homes you've shown this one takes the cake for me. It's breathtaking and I can't wait to incorporate a lot of the ideas into my own tiny home!
This is absolutely the prettiest tiny house I've seen. I love plants and nature. All things earthy. You should be very proud. God bless you and your lovely daughter.
This is the first time I’ve actually thought that I could personally live in a tiny house. The design is so clever and I wish my full size house looked as nice as this.
One of the best tiny house designs I've seen. Even without the added spare room it's a beautiful size and space. But with the porch, green roofs and spare room, it's magnificent! Thanks for showing us this brilliant tiny house!
That dark green top part of the house looks a a cargo box from a ship...planted on top of the house. It's actually ugly, but every other part of the house is cool
This is the first tiny house that has not made me feel claustrophobic! You feel like you can breath in and exhale full relaxation and relief. The whole living environment is so refreshing.
Her attention to detail is impeccable. The 'roof garden' is a brilliant idea and it does make the room feel like one of those basement rooms. Currently a friend of mine is in a condo where the bedroom is lower and you can actually see his plants, like how she is describing.
I reckon this is THE dream house for many of us who love tiny houses. She's absolutely amazing. I wish she would come and help me build my own home before I get too old but mostly, I wish that I had just an ounce of her talent.
Yeah, I'm 19 and on my way to building my own tiny house and becoming an architect-- it's definitely possible at an early age if you work hard enough! :)
You've got to start somewhere. Find what you love, and jump in. The sooner, the better. Take it from a 38-yr old dude who is just getting into the housing industry. I wish I did it 20 years ago.
Why is no one talking about how happy is this little girl? She's got dreamy house created by such sympathetic mother and it seems like she's gonna have an amazing life
AND the mom thought about her daughter needing privacy when shes older wich is such a big thing that annoys me in alot of family tiny houses with little kids because the parents say they will be there for a long time but dont think about the fact their kid is gonna want their own room
Ummm wow. I am blown away by this woman! Her talent is unreal, and managing all this while being a single mum of her little girl, AND diving competitively. What an incredible home! She’s amazing
Rasa, phenomenal camera work and editing as always; I screamed when the original interview started playing on the screen! It's an absolute marvel to see how Shay's designs have transformed to be the first-rate standard in tiny homes (IMHO). Thank you Bryce and Rasa for the inspirational content. Much love and happiness.

She has to pinch herself every now and then to remind herself it's real? I would wake up every morning and just sob on my knees on that beautiful porch. It's such a wonderful house!! 😭❤
Absolutely gorgeous tiny house which how she has it decorated Looks so much bigger! She’s definitely a strong confident woman who knows what she wants and has now achieved!! Congratulations!
One of the most beautiful tiny homes I’ve ever seen!!! She’s so perfectly beautiful and such an inspiration to all of us single moms!!! What a great video!!! What a great build!!! This is by far my favorite!!!
My favorite features: outdoor tub, hammock, living roof, plant wall, river table, plants, tiled shower, double sinks, more plants, catwalk, full height loft, even more plants... omg just everything. I love everything!!!!!
The dropped floor ceiling so you can walk in the bedroom is astounding! I'm so happy now that I've waited a few extra yrs before designing my own tiny house as the art of design and utility of space has truly gotten better than it was 10 yrs ago. ♥️🌈👍
I don't think I've ever commented twice on a video but heck, there's always a first. Now that this has sunk in, the beautiful design touches and thoughtfulness that went into this house can't be understated. This home sets a new standard. Bravo and thank you for sharing.
This is my new favorite tiny house - it feels right, it’s beautiful, and is a remarkable use of space. She has found her calling in tiny house design and manufacture. Are her house plans available internationally? And, speaking of architecture, Shaye’s eyebrows are absolutely stunning.
In case anyone else is interested in her plans for this or other houses: check the link in the description, you can actually buy them on her website as well as see a list of international builders she works with 🎉
Hey Bryce, What is really missing for me in your show is talking about the monthly costs and how they solved the landproblem. Would be great if you could touch on that! :) How much did they pay for land? is it rented? owned by mom and dad?
@Get fawked Hard to see how it would make much difference even if he said because cost breakdowns are going to vary so much depending on what region you live in, council restrictions, let alone what country you live in.
@@Adsjabo sure monthly costs can vary alot. Land aswell. Still its interesting to talk about. Alot of people think tiny house living is this super affordable thing but forget that you need land etc. In my country for example its not so easy to declare a house as a caravan and it gets very expensive fast. Up until the point where tiny house living is too expensive. For me the tinyhouse movement has two aspects: 1. The minimalist and mindful life 2. Being able to have your own place faster cuz its cheaper. But that part is often left out or a myth. Also looking at containerhouses. Building out of shipping containers in my country would be more expensive with all the cutouts than just ordering a steel frame from a metalworker. Alot of it is way less glorious or cheap than depicted.
The woodworking in this tiny house, storage, living plants, mirrors near the ceiling and bay windowsill is beautiful. I appreciate that she has chosen full sized appliances.
Oh my gosh! I’ve watched so many tiny home videos and this by far is my absolute favorite. It doesn’t even seem like a tiny house. I would love this talented woman to design a home similar to this for me. Amazing!!
"You can't go wrong with a mirror in a bedroom!" The tone in Bryce's voice as he goes "No I guess you can't" And she gets all flustered and is quick to correct "FOR THE FEELING OF SPACE" BAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh my god that whole interaction was adorably amusing.
So basically a 3 bed house with a bath 😍just an absolutely beautiful home , that green roof , a wall oven , dining space , downstairs bedroom and tucked away loo ....genius !! And those fabric romans , such a beautiful choice of fabrics .....❤️
This is by far one of the most beautiful houses I’ve ever seen! 🤩 The way she used the different heights and made it so comfortable was genius and great!
Wow!! Now that is a tiny house, beautiful inside and out it’s my favorite one so far. Also any one notice how she said “my relationship changed to a friendship” that’s such a mature and wholesome way of putting it. She’s one of the best guests on the show too
I love this tiny home, it has everything and the design is so clean! I love how you can add an extra bedroom for the future or turn the extension into anything you want! Ps I love the bedroom designs. She is very talented and hopefully will inspire others because she has inspired me to live in a tiny home. Thanks Bryce!!
congratulations, this is a really stunning house! How high will your bathroom ceiling be? I wonder how the heights in the house are divided anyway. If you include the trailer and insulation, it should only have around 3.5 m available?! Here in Germany we are unfortunately limited to 4 meters because of the transport 😥
I think its really important for kids to have their own space! I really like that the kids room in this house was not compromised to allow for a massive master bedroom.
I really love the layout of this home it is really gorgeous! I love the many practical features that she has included. I love the safety features of the catwalk and how she utilized so many of the spaces that would typically be dead space such as how she built her bedroom over the kitchen and then utilized areas of cabinets to have lowered the flooring upstairs and then where the kitchen area was taller in height to utilize that to make a platform bed. the deck and spare room just really amazing. And how fun where they live - a garden so it is always nature and life. This tiny home has some of the best space utilization that I have seen so far. Just love it ! So very well appointed and done !
Hand’s down the best Tiny Home I’ve seen yet. An absolute masterpiece of design & craftsmanship, and also a very entertaining & informative video. Cheers Bryce & Rasa, AND Shaye!
Brought tears of joy to my eyes for the magnificent creativity of the home (!), the energy of this inspiring lady, and her nurturing of the love and inherited magical beauty of her daughter too. One of my Living Big In A Tiny House faves :-) Thank you.
the future proofing for additional rooms to be built on is an amazing concept! honestly she could possibly expand her living room in the future if she wanted to with those accordion doors, or even replace the office room with a small hallway with additional rooms off of it depending on how many kids she'll have. the master bedroom is just far enough away from it, plus the small room across it can be used for storage if her daughter ever wants to have a larger room herself and takes the office space/any add-on over there! absolutely brilliant design!!!!

Literally my dream house. But seriously, it's too big for me.
@@mogotecoyote lolz, that's what she said....at first.
Her porch and house lay out is a dream. Remains to be my favorite after a year watching various tiny house videos.
Same. This one is my favorite!!!
A garden of beauty and a lovely family!
So far my fave of all tiny houses that i've seen here..i love her room..u can actually stand up and don't have to crawl..
So well designed. Love it.
This has to be the cleverest, most beautiful and forward thinking home of any size I've ever seen. The design, the finishes, the clever use of space and mirrors, the modular additions possibility to make it bigger if needed (so important with kids in the picture), it's perfect
I love that Shaye doesn't have enough stuff to fill this little home!
I love her “future-proofing” mindset. Already including her future partner, of a possible blended family... she inspires me!
Wants that D
@@MrHellsing1055 haha i was thinking the same when she said can't go wrong with a mirror in the bedroom
Only thing is the little girl's bedroom, it is definitely not future proof.
@@XxjosemitoxX That's true, but then I was thinking that the girl can probably eventually move downstairs to have the study as a room or that they could expand there when she grows out of it.
@@yih true that! This house is really becoming my dream house more and more
There is one thing that I just realized about the people in these stories, they are proud, happy, highly intelligent, etc. and bragging in such a way that is not offensive. Sincerely, Bobbie.
I totally agree with you Bobbie. These people are out of this world . They are extremally intelligent and well organized.
@@JoseGarcia-xo9lf but where does buy stuff ?
Finally a Tiny House that doesn’t feel “Tiny”! Such a lovely woman with an adorable little girl.
Probably because it isn't!
Hello jane
A heavenly tiny house so well designed in a perfect environmental setting.
Thanks so much! So glad you've found a new best on the channel. :)
I agree so much. This home is truly a work of art💞💫👌🏽
@@crystalborealisstudio Amazing design, very creative
I second that 100%. I love your channel. This house is wonderful .All the best to you guys.
Beautiful and creative..it's lovely
When you think it can't get any better, Bryce says, "I've got one that beats the previous one!" Awesome channel. Keep it up.
This tiny house is actually even bigger than my normal house
Hey Slavic the knife master 😄 you keep up your work too 👍
I like how she thanks him for absolutely everything. He sneezes and she's like "Thank you!"
Not even inside yet and I ADORE this tiny!!
Glad you like it Helen!

Hello Helen
Hello Helen you have lovely smile. How are you doing?
This is hands down one of the most BEAUTIFUL tiny homes I've ever seen!!! Absolutely adore this !!! Awesome job!!
Indeed
I do agree! If I build one myself, I will defenitly steel a lot of her ideas.
This is the most positive and creative channel on UA-cam.
Thanks so much Jennifer!
Definitely. Pretty much every channel I go to-- at least the comment section is-- a little bit toxic in some way... this channel is all positive and I love it.
I don't know how a "tiny house" could get any better. This one is very near perfection - in every way. WOW! This is the best of the best that you have had on your channel.
They need to start a program called how to find a place for a tiny house.
True
I just recently got a inspiration for a tiny house for myself. Plan is in motion and hopefully I'll have the place in 5-6 years. I've been going through these videos like crazy.
@@Pyllymysli you can do it! And you will never regret it💕

“Can’t go wrong with a mirror in the bedroom” and his face xD
Hahaha yes
yup she flirted a bit! lol
Wasn't his partner behind the camera xD
hahahah naughty girl
Gorgeous house. But wow She used every opportunity to flirt! Pretty bold to be flirting on camera....thirsty!
For a tiny house, the way it was designed looks so spacious like a mansion. Also love the plants
Tiny mansion! 😀
She absolutely made it perfect, people don’t feel they’re in a tiny space, she’s got the mind tricks down and the style to go with it. I love it!
The loft is so cute for her daughter. It's like a little kid-sized room! I feel like every child would just love that.
This house is the mother of all tiny houses, hands down
Yeah, except it's not tiny...
The whole package is aesthetically tasteful.
Out of all the tiny homes you've shown this one takes the cake for me. It's breathtaking and I can't wait to incorporate a lot of the ideas into my own tiny home!
Good luck building your tiny home! Are you going to document the process? I'd love to follow along and watch!
Good idea... Where do you plan on living
Her story is so inspiring. She is gorgeous and very smart.

I'm 6ft 1, single and love tiny houses and think what you've done is incredible and inspiring. I officially throw my hat into the ring!
OK this made my day. Lol
Your profile pic is perfect for this comment! Hahah
Wouldn't that be something?
Ooh following for the romance!! That would be cool!
I officially throw my hat into the house
u cant wear hat because it will hit the roof
One of the best tiny house designs I've seen. Even without the added spare room it's a beautiful size and space. But with the porch, green roofs and spare room, it's magnificent! Thanks for showing us this brilliant tiny house!
That dark green top part of the house looks a a cargo box from a ship...planted on top of the house. It's actually ugly, but every other part of the house is cool
This sweet young lady. Thank goodness she and her wee girl have a happy home for the two of them. Just warms your heart.

Agreed! Literally One of the BEST Tiny homes I've seen!

I know they were totally flirting
I can't imagine the soundproofing is that good when her boyfriend is over and the daughter is trying to get some shuteye 😅
I reckon this is THE dream house for many of us who love tiny houses. She's absolutely amazing. I wish she would come and help me build my own home before I get too old but mostly, I wish that I had just an ounce of her talent.
This house is outstanding I'm only 15 but I dream every day about building my own tiny home and becoming an architect 😃👍😍
That's a wonderful plan! :)

You've got to start somewhere. Find what you love, and jump in. The sooner, the better. Take it from a 38-yr old dude who is just getting into the housing industry. I wish I did it 20 years ago.
Absolutely stunning! I love that her daughter has her own space and that’s she’s future proofing the home.
Thanks Kenna!
And that she has her own space!
Why is no one talking about how happy is this little girl? She's got dreamy house created by such sympathetic mother and it seems like she's gonna have an amazing life
I thought the same thing.
She has some pet chickens too.. Adorable
AND the mom thought about her daughter needing privacy when shes older wich is such a big thing that annoys me in alot of family tiny houses with little kids because the parents say they will be there for a long time but dont think about the fact their kid is gonna want their own room
I love her room! It looks super cosy, and the views are stunning.
Yeah cos kids don't need their parents to stay together...
Bryce & Rasa can you please put the link of the video of her 1st home in the drop down. I want to check it out. Thanks. As always, you both do OUTSTANDING work! You're the "Dynamic Duo". lol! 😊 💞
So far, Shaye's tiny home still remains the best for me.
Yes aside from making the second bedroom more like hers I really wouldn’t change anything I love the layout.
She has to pinch herself every now and then to remind herself it's real? I would wake up every morning and just sob on my knees on that beautiful porch. It's such a wonderful house!! 😭❤

This is my new favorite tiny house - it feels right, it’s beautiful, and is a remarkable use of space. She has found her calling in tiny house design and manufacture. Are her house plans available internationally? And, speaking of architecture, Shaye’s eyebrows are absolutely stunning.
Jeff, did you ever receive a reply about if her plans are available? I am very interested in her plans.
@spirals 73 I think they move separately. So you'd need two trucks to move it, but otherwise not harder than moving another tiny
Wish I could win one like this for me and my special needs kids.
In case anyone else is interested in her plans for this or other houses: check the link in the description, you can actually buy them on her website as well as see a list of international builders she works with 🎉
My favorite one by far. Wish I could have her help me and my daughter with one. Loved this.
Wow this woman is so strong! Over came an ED, single mom, AMAZING architect, like damn she’s so cool
Is she an architect or just a designer?
Adrienne Henshaw either way she’s awesome
Hey Bryce,
What is really missing for me in your show is talking about the monthly costs and how they solved the landproblem.
That's what I think every time I see a tiny house
@@SmeeGuitar wich is your country>? thanks
I'd like to know those info as well :)
I agree it changes from country to county for many reasons. But still....
The woodworking in this tiny house, storage, living plants, mirrors near the ceiling and bay windowsill is beautiful. I appreciate that she has chosen full sized appliances.

congratulations, this is a really stunning house!
So very well appointed and done !

the future proofing for additional rooms to be built on is an amazing concept! honestly she could possibly expand her living room in the future if she wanted to with those accordion doors, or even replace the office room with a small hallway with additional rooms off of it depending on how many kids she'll have. the master bedroom is just far enough away from it, plus the small room across it can be used for storage if her daughter ever wants to have a larger room herself and takes the office space/any add-on over there! absolutely brilliant design!!!!
