I strongly considered this with the West Vest air management system. Because of my experience with the West Vest, I stayed with it because I know exactly what I wanted and needed. This is not to say that the F3 is not a very good chest protector. In fact, I think it comes in as #2 when comparing it to all of the others out there. No matter which one you choose, make darn sure that it not only gives great protection, but durability as well. DO NOT compromise your physical being by using cheaper equipment, because once you do, that 1 in a million chance of getting nailed in the wrong place will haunt you. Spend the money properly.

That chest protector looks really good.
I have the new west memory foam one and i like it a lot, just wish it was longer like the F3
