Just came back from Koh Lipe. I've booked a private room in Sang Chan Hostel on Walking Street from Christmas till New Year for 6800 Baht/198.16 USD (7 nights). Definitely a good budget option. Though you need to unplug the WIFI router located at the reception whenever you lose connection (the owner actually showed me herself). You'll be charged an extra 400 Baht for AC but you don't need it as the weather gets quite cold at night. I turned the fan off whenever I go to bed. If you don't need WIFI, you can opt for the Varin Village beach chalets on Sunrise Beach, but note that it gets pretty windy at night.
It's fun to see you exploring another island in Thailand. I first discovered your channel several years back when I saw your video of exploring Koh Mak, which is my favourite place in the world to chillax and completely de-stress.

Hi Gabriel, this island has a hippie vibe to it really relaxing. I would just lay in the water for an hour. Another thing, ever since you traveled to Bali your appetite has increased, it's amazing how to keep your weight down but it's all that walking and swimming that keep you in terrific condition.
