I spent a bit of time on color correcting this one. Hope everyone likes it.
Hey Brian, really appreciate all your vids! Love to see a rider from the Midwest getting out there and riding great trails. Cheers!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Would very much like to see all your service/maintenance videos, you do a good job of explaining things
Thanks. I've got one in the hopper. Should be ready soon.
Would be cool to see the bearing and pivot replacement. Thanks for all the vids again this year! 🤘
Happy Thanksgiving! I've punched out a couple already but I think it can be an informative video. Thanks.
Great season Brian. Grateful for what you do for the local MTB community! I think Maintenance vids would be a great idea if you have the time for it. Stay warm my friend!
Thanks! Yeah I have one already uploaded and waiting to finish off the thumbnail.
I would watch your service videos!
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks, for letting me know.
I'm doing a full strip down and rebuild of my bike this winter as well. Just replaced all the bearings today. Gonna do a full rebuild (200hr service) on the fork and shock and have never done it before either. Luckily I have a friend who is a mechanic who is gonna teach me. Certainly requires a lot of tools I didn't have! Would love some vids of ya working on the bike. Always liked that version of the 5010.
Happy Thanksgiving! So I tend to find the bearings aren't too bad. My upper linke just needed a cleaning and the lower needed a couple bearings replaced. I had enough leftovers I didn't need to order new bearings. Shock is need of new hardware and it started squeaking so that will be fun.
Great year! Yes, would love to see some maintenance videos. I hope I can get to Bettonville next year as well.
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks, those maintenance videos are going to happen.
@@BrianVaughn Happy Thanksgiving!
If there is no service video for a certain fork, shock or frame out there yet then it would be very helpful for others
Thanks. They are out there.
Would like to see maintenance videos, especially because I have a 5010 v3 😂.
Happy Thanksgiving. Yeah, it's maintenance we can all do at home.
It surly was a great MTB season this year. I really enjoyed your videos. I surprised you don't have a fat bike for winter riding - which is every bit as fun as summer riding in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Cuyuna is amazing in the winter. Take care.
Happy Thanksgiving! I have a fat bike but it sits under my deck unused. I should demo a nice fat bike and give Cuyuna a ride. I tend to ski Welch Village with the family in the winter. We all ski so that is something we can all do together.
@@BrianVaughn Happy Thanksgiving! Skiing is a great family activity. We're just getting back into it this year - I live a couple miles from buck Hill. I'll be hitt'in welch this year for sure.
Seems like you had a pretty solid season Brian.
I was a good year. Thanks Kris.
@@BrianVaughn Send that shock up to Peter at Ardent Bicycles!
I do want to give this service a shot. If it goes south I'll send it up there. I have been stocking his bike inventory sheet. Hoping to pick up a new bike next year.
I’d watch the Sevice videos. I have the same bike so would be helpful
Happy Thanksgiving. I'm glad I can still find parts!
So sad 😭. Never enough.
It never is.
Interested in seeing some servicing videos.
Happy Thanksgiving! Yeah, I think there is some interest so it'll happen.
Hope we can ride together next season!!
Hit me up and we can make that happen.
Thanks for a good year Brian. Look forward to a video on the bearings, I am thinking about replacing mine as well. Have a great winter.
Happy Thanksgiving! I think this is one of those things you need to check annually on a full suspension bike. I've learned my upper linke pretty much never needs service but my lower ones do.
Solid season! I can relate with the frequent Duluth trips. It was great to get a ride in with you at Leb! I may try to take on my shock too, haven’t looked into the details of my float X yet, had an older fox that was easy enough.. I’d definitely be interested in seeing that one serviced! Go for it!
Happy Thanksgiving! Leb was a good time with a fun group. I have a kit in the mail for both the shock and the fork. The shock started squeaking and I think the hardware is worn out. It's a four year old shock so I'm willing to give it a shot.
Looked like a great year Brian and I'm glad I got a few rides in with you this year as well! I miss riding already.
Happy Thanksgiving! You had a pretty good year too. Hopefully we can get in a few rides next year together.
Let's ride that rock lake trail together next season. I been wanting to go there and I know you didn't make it through last time you tried
Happy Thanksgiving! I need to ride a lot of the Camba trails. I do need some redemption on Rock Lake.
I would
Cool, thanks for the feedback.
Do you suggest getting a fat tire bike if I want to ride the trails in the winter? I actually really like riding in the winter, but typically ride my mountain bike on the roads and figured the trails were closed. I live near Theo and Leb. Thanks!
Yes, a fat bike is recommended if you want to ride trails in the winter. I've started Nordic skiing in the winter.
Ha my new bike is old enough to drive
What happened to you Brian? Did you hang it up?
@@bikeinwithmike702 pretty much. Life got busy, can't really do day trips anymore and there wasn't a lot of demand for my videos.
