They made it look super tidy right! The bracket kit was kind of a once off thing for them as that was the first time they’d done a bracket like that for a speaker. Maybe down the track they might.
@@ozadventurelife yeah definitely not a spot you’d think of but makes perfect sense at the same time. Yeah would be keen if they offer the bracket makes it super neat!
Awesome build guys. The quality of install is top notch, especially inside the cab. Also, that fridge slide is sick as, and such a space saving trick. What about long range tanks and water?
We couldn’t be happier with the whole build. Water wise I don’t think we are going to worry as we will most likely use Jerry cans, as for fuel tanks I think a long range tank is definitely on the cards!
We didn’t want the stock snorkel that came on the GX as we were always going to get a stainless snorkel. That was a big factor and if we went the GX we would’ve had to get a whole new panel for the stainless snorkel.
I like your build, good product choice. So you have the JMACX 4200kg GVM, a few questions regarding this ... what size (weight) van are you towing? Did you do the GVM upgrade pre or post rego? Do you now have a re-rated GCM, what is the new GCM? Thank you.
Thanks we love the big girl!! We will be towing something around the 3.2t size and that is just below the maximum we can tow. We did the GVM post rego no worries at all. The GCM hasn’t changed, but I believe JMACX are working on increasing the GCM in their GVM kits.
I’m located in WA, towing a large van 3.2t, I had a 4090kg GVM applied and when fully loaded I’m shy of my GCM by 40kg. I am considering removing and replacing my GVM with the JMACX 4200kg but suspect with the additional weight of the strengthened rear axle I’ll be over GCM. I’m waiting for the outcome of the new WA re-rating GCM rules, at the moment no one has done any testing to allow GCMs to be increased. I wouldn’t mind having a chat with you at some stage, we have very similar builds and I’m keen to hear your experiences regarding weights. Thank you.
@@Poppy_Maverick we just fit inside of our GCM with the 3.2t van behind us. If you have any questions definitely feel to reach out to us on our socials 👍
@@lukeneave I believe they’re a little smaller on the inside not by much though. Also hard for us to say as we’ve never owned a 200 series, we’ve come from a hilux to the 300 and it’s a huge difference for us!
Thanks! We thought the bullbar was necessary to prevent front end damage in the possibility of hitting a car/animal ect when travelling remote. Also handy to have to fit a winch and lighting 👍

Looking good. Dont like the way front end of rear flare finishes tho, surely they could`ve splayed in a bit neater.

Super slick with the switch panel on the roof liner ! The speaker setup, can that be bought as a DIY bracket kit?

Nice rig. Was the suspension a 3 or 2inch lift? I have the 2inch jmacx 4.2 kit on my 300, but looking at a larger tyre size then I currently have.
Thanks mate! It’s a 3” lift, allowed us to fit 295/70 R18 (34”)
Hey guys, great video. What brand of air hose is it?
Thanks for watching!! Not sure of the brand, it doesn’t actually have any branding on it. I’ll do some research and get back to you 👍
Love you're vehicle, and how you set it up.
Thank you!! Took a lot of planning and brainstorming but we got there and doesn’t it look a treat 🙌
