"Watch out for those gadgets on their chest!" I started laughing at that line even before you commented on it. I am going to find a way to use that as a pick up line.
Hey wait, either take me with you or pay me $5.00... or use. "what do you call a couple of physicians?..," a paradocs (paradox). Or "what's a pirates favorite kind of sock?... arrrrrrrrrgyle." Ive got more and different ones ;)
I have a feeling that The Monarch, from The Venture Brothers, watched this movie as a child. Oh, and if you want to see a really creepy doll, you should watch The Brotherhood Of Satan. Perhaps...*tenting fingers*...you could then review it?
This show is THE BEST I've ever watched,I get a damn kick out of Brandon's comments & jokes,I hope this guy does this show for a lot of years, keep up the good work and GREAT job Brandon!!!
3:26 this is what is the more close to a "fantastic 4- the beggining" with one of the more "Reed Richards award of the sciencey DGAF" pickup line ever.
4:52 great, first the weird clown-TV hybrid thing from "2019: after the fall of New York" and now this. What's with italian SciFi films including weird creepy dolls in their movies?
Fun fact, ..."Wild, Wild Planet" is part one of five movies in the same universe, with different and partly same actors in same roles. 1. Wild, Wild Planet 2. Deadly Diaphonoids, - (Bringers of Death, War of the Planets) 3. Orion 3000, - or (Mission wandering Planet, Planet on the Prowl, War between the Planets) 4. The Devil Men from Space, or - (The Snow Devils, The Blue Devils, Snow Demons, Space Devils) 5. The Green Slime
Joe Satriani was the first "real" concert I went to. I was 13 years old and my dad surprised me with tickets. He let me skip school and we spent the day in Atlanta til it was time to go to the Fox Theater. It was a great day!
Re: the sequels... "War Of The Planets", "War Between The Planets" and "Snow Devils" are not the only ones. The fourth sequel and final movie in the Gamma One series is (though not directed by Antonio Margheriti) and made in Japan by Kinji Fukasaku, is "The Green Slime" (a.k.a. "Gamma One: Operation Outer Space") which starred Robert Horton, Richard Jaeckel and the oh-so-delectable, Luciana Paluzzi.
LOLed on the Joe Satriani joke! Glad someone else knows him... and yes, bald weirdo 4armed dudes in glasses indeed resemble him. Franco Nero... oh man. You need to review our Hungarian "epic" Honfoglalás someday... A government-funded "historical" movie about how we came to the Carpathian basin, with a budget so low that battles consist of 2 people wrestling in the mud, but they did have the money to hire Franco Nero for the role of Arpad, the leader of the hungarian tribes... despite him not speaking our language. :D Like, at all. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Conquest_(1996_film)
4 arms? He could have dozens, attached to multiple Joes Satriani. Hundreds! He could literally be his own orchestra. Hell, he could be his own audience. Might be hard to divide the paycheques, though.
15:45-No one in four years picked up on the Orgasmatron from "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask". It 's even arrowed on screen but nothing.
I think that maybe right in general. I think it takes about 5 years for a decade to shed its self of the ways of the previous decade and the next 5 years for the current decade to define its self.
You know this would be a fantastic origin story for Dr. Frankenfuter from rocky horror picture show. Could you just imagine Tim curry appearing in drag as the result of fusing the two! LMAO
I love this franchise and I hope you get around to the other movies some time. Also, it may interest you to know all four movies were actually shot concurrently!
12:00 Actually, I think the pile of calf's lungs under the plastic dome being inflated with a bellows looks more like an Amazing Futuristic City than what the Asylum's version of the new Blade Runner will look like.
I put this on my "to watch" list when Brandon's review came out, as it looked like it could be bonkers fun. I finally got to see it tonight. It's a bit sluggish but it kept me entertained, mostly because the villain's plan is so bonkers! You never really knew what daft thing you'd be seeing or hearing next. 😀
Have you ever heard of this weird cult classic called The legend of the overfiend. We only got the weak version but you can find the full uncut version on UA-cam in Japanese l thought you'd like to know(ps it's a hentai)
You made so many videos that very often one pops on my feed that I never watched, like this one, from a flick i don't even know! Absute treat! And lotsa pretty ladies too! 😅🖤
Fun fact: a couple years after this came out, a band from California named Spirit hit the scene, with a drummer who was bald and almost always had shades on. He was actually one of the other band member's father in law and was twice the age of the others.
Apparently the writers were well-educated enough to know Plato's account of Aristotle's myth about the origins of humankind and sexuality...but lacked the common-sense necessary to realize that everyone wouldn't necessarily recognize what they were referencing. www.anselm.edu/homepage/dbanach/sym.htm
14:18 also what happens to the other halves of you two? Won't you be becoming two split-down-the-middle people? or are you just throwing the other halves away?
Antonio Margharetti earlier made the classic "CASTLE OF BLOOD". That one's one my wanted list! In the mid-2000s, TCM ran a whole series of these cheap, schlocky ITALIAN sci-fi flicks on Friday afternoons, where only unemployed people could watch them. They ran this and its sequels, all of which had some vague connection with Space Station GAMMA I. And then they ran the unofficial sequel, the one that took place on Space Station GAMMA III. Yep. "THE GREEN SLIME". I'd been wanting to watch that since 1969. Ever since, there's like not a year that goes by without me watching it. Given a choice between that and "ALIEN", every time, I'll pick "THE GREEN SLIME". There was only one problem... it's the only movie i know of that TCM ran in "fullscreen", instead of "widescreen" / "letterbox". WHY? Who knows. But now that I'm buying DVDs, it's on my list for an upgrade. In the close-ups, you're genuinely missing HALF of the fight scenes.
and here I thought the plan was to shrink people down, smuggle them somewhere, the harvet all their organs. Guess that would've been too out landish or something.
All of my favorite Brandon reviews are mostly the totally random ones, like this. You could make an argument that most of them are crazy and random but I love Godzilla and Gamera, and yet, his review for "The Dark", a movie I never saw, is one of my favorites. This one was also hysterical but this movie is truly beautiful looking and I want to see it now. Thanks Brandon! Please consider "Stunt Rock" ua-cam.com/video/6G6XgzhtCJI/v-deo.html
The Selchies Professor Satchafunkilus you are The Extremist Flying in a Blue Dream. You comment is a Shockwave Supernova you can't stop Unstoppable Momentum of the Engines of Creation, Go get a Time Machine with Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards on a Crystal Planet you are Not of This Earth. I will go play Strange Beautiful Music while Surfing with the Alien.
IS THERE LOVE!? Baby don't hurt me... Don't hurt me... No more! *insert techno solo. (I guess that is your answer. It means,"Wtf?! What is going on here? Gosh! I don't know!")
At least Baron Ashura had some measure of logic for being half-man and half-woman, split down the middle. (The original two people, who were in love, had the opposite sides of their bodies destroyed in an accident. So Dr. Hell sewed the surviving sides together to make himself a new henchman/henchwoman.)
I laugh every time Brandon says "The fiend!"
"Watch out for those gadgets on their chest!" I started laughing at that line even before you commented on it. I am going to find a way to use that as a pick up line.
The toy Jetson car crash was classic.
Hey wait, either take me with you or pay me $5.00...
or use. "what do you call a couple of physicians?..," a paradocs (paradox). Or "what's a pirates favorite kind of sock?... arrrrrrrrrgyle." Ive got more and different ones ;)
Machine gun jubblies? How did I miss those?
"The Colonel's secret recipe!", damn, that one brought back some memories.
Jesus Christ, that beer mug at 4:01. Everybody in space must get totally shitfaced.
Brandon: I don’t think sawing a woman in half is perfection!
Art the Clown: :(
Better to chemically castrate boys and turn them into girls.
I love how there's an actual movie titled "War Between The Planets"
5:49 - Now playing at the Protfo Theater, MOTHRA! The More-So-Than-Usual Musical!
Well, he chokes everyone and gets answers. You have to admit... that's one effective interrogation technique, chief. ;) XD
Does he? I'm not sure he got any answers. Besides, it doesn't tend to encourage communication when you make it impossible for your subject to talk.
C'mon dude, the Kardasians' brains would be much smaller than that. ;)
I bet they can spell Kardashian though..
You are too optimistic with non-existent brains.
👏🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
3:26 this is what is the more close to a "fantastic 4- the beggining" with one of the more "Reed Richards award of the sciencey DGAF" pickup line ever.
This was just what I needed. My only brother passed away last Tuesday and I have been bummed out for three days.
Keep up the great work. I like your commentary on these types of movies especially Godzilla.
RIP Tony Russell. ;( I love this movie BTW; I like to think of it as the movie Marcello Mastroianni was making in 8 1/2.
4:52 great, first the weird clown-TV hybrid thing from "2019: after the fall of New York" and now this. What's with italian SciFi films including weird creepy dolls in their movies?

5. The Green Slime
Why is it impossible to find this full movie anywhere? I have it on DVD, but I can never find it on UA-cam, etc. 🤔
Nothing like a cheesy, strange sci-fi movie review to start 2017 off right
You got that right.
Joe Satriani was the first "real" concert I went to. I was 13 years old and my dad surprised me with tickets. He let me skip school and we spent the day in Atlanta til it was time to go to the Fox Theater. It was a great day!
Cool; what a small world we live in!
What's the blooper reel like.?.
Joe should very much get in touch with these villains; he could have multiple tours of Joe Satrianis (Joes Satriani? Cloning is hard on grammar).
I first saw Satch during the Flying in a Blue Dream tour with Eric Johnson opening. Freakin’ great!!
You should do the next two sequels.
Re: the sequels... "War Of The Planets", "War Between The Planets" and "Snow Devils" are not the only ones. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Conquest_(1996_film)
When I saw the video artwork I thought/hoped Satriani was in the movie.
I was wondering why Satch was in the thumbnail as well :D
@Swift Nimblefoot , Any Bathory's left over there? Most METAL chic EVER
"in absence of real butterflies you can use humans in capes"
Happy New Year Brandon!
9:37 Classical sloppy fight choreagraphy from the 60´s
Love the Joe Satriani comparisons. Kinda spot on. With 4 arms he'd sound amazing! :o)
Reminds me how people who lived through the '60s say the first five years were just more of the '50s.
Madam butterfly sci Fi. Version.
I think that maybe right in general. I think it takes about 5 years for a decade to shed its self of the ways of the previous decade and the next 5 years for the current decade to define its self.
How did they end up with three Kardashian brains? I thought they shared one between them.
Can you please review "Evil Toons","island of fire" and "Schlock"?
I would love to see you review _Lexx: I Worship His Shadow_ or _Gigashadow_ :)
You know this would be a fantastic origin story for Dr. Frankenfuter from rocky horror picture show. Could you just imagine Tim curry appearing in drag as the result of fusing the two! LMAO
11:30 Maybe by "perfect being", Nurmi meant "perfect for the lead in "Glen or Glenda""?
You can probably push a hot wheels faster than that Jetsons car
I love this franchise and I hope you get around to the other movies some time. Also, it may interest you to know all four movies were actually shot concurrently!
I love this movie! It is so weird and insane.
5:52 don't worry it just the Broadway release of mothra vs battra.
12:00 Actually, I think the pile of calf's lungs under the plastic dome being inflated with a bellows looks more like an Amazing Futuristic City than what the Asylum's version of the new Blade Runner will look like.
14:18 LEGIT THANKS FOR ASKING THIS Q. Because I was thinking it for the last 30 Seconds..HAHAH
Well this is a great way to start the new year! :D
man i wonder what starry night would sound like with 4 hands...
So, who knew there was an Italian prequel to Phantasm?
I put this on my "to watch" list when Brandon's review came out, as it looked like it could be bonkers fun. I finally got to see it tonight. It's a bit sluggish but it kept me entertained, mostly because the villain's plan is so bonkers! You never really knew what daft thing you'd be seeing or hearing next. 😀
I'd like to see your review of Devil's Rain 1975.
I like the look of this setting. It looks like a prewar fallout city.
I loved how at the end of the movie they all laugh at the guy who got shrunk to half size.
And he calls them out on it! 😀
"When she and I become one, thats when I become a Perfect being"
Baron Ashura: You got to be kidding me
The guy playing Nearmy was also the bad guy in Medusa against the Son of Hercules.
So glad to see abstract art (in the theatre scene) is about as understandable as it is today. Plus, was that doll the Annabelle of the future? ;P
Wasn't Gamma One in Green Slime also?
Have you ever heard of this weird cult classic called The legend of the overfiend. We only got the weak version but you can find the full uncut version on UA-cam in Japanese l thought you'd like to know(ps it's a hentai)
Never again will I watch it.
Isn't it Urotsukidoji: Legend Of The Overfiend?
So...wait...is this taking place on a space station, or a planet? The characters are on a space station...then a planet...then the station again...
2:33 Well at least they had touch tone dialing, no wait, it has only nine keys.
Oh man, reminds me of Wild Zero which if you haven't watched yet I highly recommend it.
3:59 their hunks o' meat look like coal. 4:51does that evil doll have a comb-over?!
It's like if Ed Wood made Barbarella! I'm going to have to find this one!
Well, I'm glad to know that in the future, people do weird ballets dressed like Mothra's fifth cousin twice removed!
*Italian* 60s sci-fi movie? Hoo boy, strap in boys!
I often wonder how much the drug budget was for Italian films from the 60's.
Very fun to watch, thanks
So......Dr. Nermi is an alchemist?
the bad guys plan... I think I need to borrow the sage words of a wise Ghoul to accurately respond to them " you fucking weirdo"
wasnt Antonio Margheriti one of the inglourious Basterds
Three sequels??!! Do them!
Four sequels. The Green Slime is also part of this franchise, apparently.
Definitely looks like something I have to watch!!
Kardashion joke was brilliant
But the brains are still too large ;)
Fun review as always Brandon, Happy New Year :D
You made so many videos that very often one pops on my feed that I never watched, like this one, from a flick i don't even know! Absute treat! And lotsa pretty ladies too! 😅🖤
Nurmi wants to be Baron Ashura?
Great way to start a new Year :D keep it coming
Fun fact: a couple years after this came out, a band from California named Spirit hit the scene, with a drummer who was bald and almost always had shades on. He was actually one of the other band member's father in law and was twice the age of the others.
You gotta do ”war of the planets". It had huge space batles. And Claude Rains.
Claude Rains was in “Battle Of The Worlds”.
New Brandon for the new year, fuck yes please
Three nipples? Scaramanga??

14:18 also what happens to the other halves of you two? Won't you be becoming two split-down-the-middle people? or are you just throwing the other halves away?
The main bearded scientist guy looks like Carmen Ghia from The Producers.
Also, is this technically Italian Final Programme?
3 years later and you still haven't touched the sequels? what're you waiting for, we want the complete set! lol
you were off for few videos
but this time you just nailed it
Omg this is funny as hell. As usual your reviews are awesome.
2:16 Newmie?!! What are *you* doing here? Baywatch needs you, you're the best guy they've got!
Oh, wait, NERMIE...nvm. :P
The acting is crazy
So it's Glen or Glenda in space.
Antonio Margharetti earlier made the classic "CASTLE OF BLOOD". That one's one my wanted list!

So the villain wants to become Vivec from Morrowind?
What's up brandon great video and happy new year
happy new year...lets have plenty of brit flicks please
man these movies are fun i will watch again
11:43 ... cause he's getting the best of both worlds? I know it was on the tip of your tongue... XD
The greatest monologue of all time 15:17
Does "We're back: a dinosaurs story" count as a cult movie?
and here I thought the plan was to shrink people down, smuggle them somewhere, the harvet all their organs. Guess that would've been too out landish or something.
Dwarf versions? Wonder if Don Coscarelli ever saw this

The real question of the movie, Is There Love In Space?
No
The Selchies Professor Satchafunkilus you are The Extremist Flying in a Blue Dream. Indeed there is. ua-cam.com/video/GYY0BasWlRA/v-deo.html
This movie is really wild on the flipside
Happy New Year, and i think i have seen this movie before
There's only one Halstead and his first name is is Jay!
In the version I watch, Dr Hell destroyed the other halves of their bodies on purpose.
You should definitely do the Space Monkey/Yeti sequel. (Not even kidding...)
minski76 sir, you have my attention
Could you please do Prophecy (1979)?
