Watching your videos and committing to training and learning to be patient with my aim has me ranking up faster than ever. I’m up 260 RR from D1 to D3 in the last TWO DAYS. I played so consistent yesterday and I thank you!
Woohoojin always makes me realize that coaching is an entirely different skill than playing the video game, or really any skill. Being able to give advice that seems like common sense is extremely difficult. Like yesterday I was trying to explain why smoking a choke point was advantageous toward the team defending the choke point, but to my friend it seemed like he was blocking his own vision to the enemy, something he thought was correct for so long before.
Of course, look all the professional irl coaches whether nfl, nba, etc. a lot of these upper echelon, and just coaches in general were mid-tier players, if they played professional at all. Many just stopped at the college level
For sure. I have a bunch of friends who’re all immo 3/radiant and they watch my plat games and don’t know what to say besides “you just gotta get better mechanics” because they don’t know how to find the right words
Valorant is unique in that 1. a lot of people are playing at a medium skill level or higher due to the popularity of the game, and 2. the meta changes somewhat frequently. Versus CSGO where back in the day there weren't that many people playing at a higher level, and the meta was more concrete.
