Small thing but I really appreciate that you always put the clip you reference in the title and thumbnail at the beginning of the video. I don't always have time to fully watch the videos but it's nice to be able to get a quick tip when I see that the title is something that I could learn from
lmao i just thought the same thing when i started the video. No clickbaiting. I see information on thumbnail, i click, i get information from thumbnail.
If you survive the gunfight then that means you get to take more gunfights, which means you get more kills, which means you get more RR, which means you get radiant, which means more scouts see your gameplay, which means you get more pro teams interested, which means you get more contracts, which means you get more money. All that to say, if you don't die then you'll be rich
Found your videos recently. They finally gave me the kick in the ass needed to commit to a consistent routine, and to not be anxious when playing ranked. Thank you.
fun fact: Subroza is latin. it means "under the rose", and the spot on Ascent was named after the pro player, because of a nasty 4k (or was it an ace?) he got from a midround mid lurk in this exact spot. Now the crazy part is that top mid on Ascent has a graffiti showing a hand holding a rose. Right above where? Subroza... It seems to be just a coincidence. Subroza himself only noticed much later.
I ranked up from i3 last year to now Ascendant 3 and almost radiant just watching these videos and seeing which of these mistakes I was making and then working on them as he suggested. The BANANA's potassium wisdom is the best
There’s a massive gap between ascendant 3 and Radiant. You get an elo rating once in immortal, hitting imm 2 at 90 and immo 3 at 200. If you look at the last episodes leaderboard, radiant started at 600 elo. That’s the equivalent of two full ranks and the skip gap to bridge it is practically the same as iron to ascendant. You’re barely halfway there friend.
@@woozykoala159 I meant almost immortal lol. MB. Although I do think I can reach radiant in 3 - 4 months-ish now cuz I have been getting into immo 2/ 3lobbies very commonly and got in to radiant once but got humbled
There's a specific spot in Split my friends and I call "plant pot" (in Spanish), and we were surprised when we heard in a high elo stream the spot was actually called "plant". It's on A, close to main, in a spot with 2 corners to tuck for the defenders
5:10 I can't tell what I'm missing, how can we tell haunt was broken from pocket? Maybe it's a dumb question but I've rewatchedca good bit and can't find what I'm missing, we just know it got broken what leads to pocket seize/Molly being a good call here?
Is there any go-to sources for learning these location callouts? I feel like that subroza location is incredibly hard information to come by. How would is lower elo players learn it if mainly inmortal+ uses it? and the valorant in game map is only a small start to all the locations you'd wanna know
Id say if you arent Immortal or at least somewhat high elo most people wont understand the tricky specific callouts so they have no use for you. However if you still want to "learn" them just watching pros/good players should do it and if you get into better ranks people will just call them and then you are going to figure them out on by on.
“Most other players just play ranked to numb themselves from the pain of life” So sad that this is the reality, my soloQ teammates don’t play video games to actively improve and receive their delayed gratification. They play after their 9-5 to get their daily does of dopamine, just to do it again tomorrow :(
Day 3 of watching Woohoojin: I’ve successfully acquired yet ANOTHER dose of POTASSIUM NO SCOPE RIGHT TO MY BRAIN! Bronze 2 only up! 🔥 YES! I LOVE WOOHOOJIN! 💯 🔥 💯
what I like to do is in the range is shoot 50 or 100 bots while they have armour on and are strafing, but I use a ghost and strafe as well. So I'm forced to track I think it recreates a lot of gunfights where both people are strafing. You can take your time to track horizontally.
6:13 I have the exact same problem and I am gold 3 I have really inconsistent aim, sometimes I handle flicks and micro flicks perfectly but sometimes I can't even kill the enemies who come at my crosshair. And after seeing the video I think I understand 1 reason for that inconsistency, unnecessary vertical movement of crosshair.
I generally dont post comments. Someone suggested me your movement guide on twitch... ur content is amazing almost as if I wanna just analyze and not play lmao. Kinda like a netflix series
If I comm "we are always getting flanked, let's do XYZ", my team will usually respond by rushing a site and lose even more. Many times I end up being the lurk/sentinel even if it should not be my role. It's unreal to see people at this elo leaving flank so exposed every round on attack.
There is another call out that EU players dont know which is "U-hall". We call it "lamps" like the map says as we never call a hall that turns in a U a "U-hall"
Okay. At my rank of high gold low plat, I would be shocked if most people even knew who subroza was, much less know exactly where that spot is. What's more likely is high elo players will call that subroza because they've seen him do that. If it was me and I was making that comm under pressure, I'd probably say, "mid under catwalk" The amount of times I bring up vct or pro players at my rank, most people just go, "who's that". Kinda blows my mind how little low ranked players pay attention to vct or higher ranked players in general. To your point though for the next 5 games I play on ascent, I will record and actively try to use that comm just to see what kind of reactions I get. For SCIENCE!!!!
Question: What if you had a rough start and your are bottom-fragging. Teammate stop listening to your shot calling or straght up go toxic (STFU Omen you are bottom fragging)?
That and also in low elo you can't call specific locations. You can only call general map regions, because nobody else in the lobby will know what you're talking about. And even if everyone does have a name for a specific location, nobody is playing precisely enough for such a specific call to change how they play.
I've actually struggled with moving my crosshair horizontally well; always have noticeable dips that I have to consciously adjust Obviously not my biggest issue whatsoever but it's always been mildly annoying that I can't do it without whipping out paint and forcing myself to draw straight horizontal lines for half an hour straight (although this is always a temporary fix and only leads to over training my arm) Looking forward to the updated guide :)))
Practice tracking on a stationary bot in the range. Just AD strafe around and keep your crosshair locked on a bot's head and just concentrate on just that for 5-10 minutes. This will help smooth out your mouse movements and help keep in sync your movement and mouse movements.
@@decksteroussnail Exactly. I was always bottomfragging then I started to like "aim with keyboard". I trained like 1hour and I got 3 mvp in a row after that. Also I installed Raw Accel and my aim feels like so good since then.

while i realize the spot on ascent is called subroza i feel like you cant really get mad at people for not calling it that. theres nothing actually in the game that can tell you that its supposed to be called subroza unless you specifically hear your teammate call it (or hear it while watching a stream/video) and at that point you dont know what the call means. if youre just an average elo player that isnt watching tons of valorant content and just plays the game then you will rarely see the spot anyways too, thats the whole reason its named after a player in the first place, because its an uncommon and super specific spot that you wouldnt know what to call otherwise also realistically if you do have to call it then "theyre dropped cat" would get the message across to most people even if it is less specific. 100% agree with you on not calling "mid" on bind though
