Well done. For anyone who has lost or broke the plugs @ 1:05, here is Amazon link to replacements which apparently Indian does not sell. ( KiWAV Motorcycle Round Bolt Cap Screw Cover Plug Black for 6mm Thread Allen Head Bolts, )
Thanks so much Mike! Used these to replace the originals--it was impossible for me to get the caps off without damaging them, even with pick hooks (you have to kind of stab in underneath the cover, thus damaging them).
I used a pick hook to take out the "cover things" . It works without damaging them. The pick hooks cost $2 at Harbor Freight. Thanks for the video . I'm installing my levers manana.
Thanks for the video darlin'. I'm doing the same exact thing to my Scout. Completely blacking it out. So refreshing to see other women modifying their own machines!
I have those levers as well and they are much more comfortable than the factory ones, and with the ridges it seems to keep your hands in the right place too.
When you installed the brake lever, did you notice that the brake pull became a lot harder? I have to pull the brake lever all the way back to even depress the switch activating my rear lights. Emailed Joker Machine to see what they say.
Simple you have to file down the notch on the brake lever to get the brake light button out more, so by the time you hit the brakes the button is fully out. Right now it's fully in.
@her6gears at 2:45 when you were reinstalling the clutch, what were you doing on the right side of the bike while your husband was connecting the cable to the lever? If I do this alone, do I need someone to hold something over there? **Edit** nvm got my answer below
Yeah, I’m sorry that part wasn’t very clear. I was loosening the tension of the cable. Alone, you’d do the lever first then the right side part like I did in this video ua-cam.com/video/BYQS-dRm0nU/v-deo.htmlsi=xs4lA7b6eNpAMPWz I learned later on and did it myself
Just got myself '23 Indian scout bobber and the clutch lever is quite stiff. Did changing to barnett and new clutch levers make it easier to pull? Compared Triumph motorbikes - their clutch lever is so effortless to pull. On the indian, gets my hand all fatigued in traffic
I would have done the same thing, nick the tank, then cover it after, DOH!!! Those levers look really nice! Did you have to adjust the clutch cables at all after installing the new levers? Great job😎
Hello I'm looking to change out my levers as my hands are small and the stock levers seem far out for my reach did changing out to the joker did the levers get any closer to the bars or are they easier to pull in thanks for any input
Quick question, when you installed them did your brake lights work like normal? After installing the brake lever, my brake lights don’t turn on unless I’m pressing on the brake lever with force
Did you review your headlight? Shopping for one and don't know if I should go with factory or aftermarket. I just don't want to buy a cheaper led headlight and regret it. Any info? Thanks
Can you please adjust the volumes? The narration volume is so low compared to when just the music plays. If you have the speaker set at loud to hear you speak, a few seconds later, the music comes on way too loud.

Looking good. Levers and installer!

@@HER6GEARS awesome thank you. Your videos are so helpful and easy to follow. Now I just need money to follow along with all the upgrades hahah
Did you have to adjust the clutch cable when you where installing the lever?I saw you holding on to something at the bottom of the bike.
No, I just needed more free play to remove the lever
That’s what I was doing with the wrench

I have the same problem, I'd like to know the answer to this too. They look like they are closer than the stock levers, but I cannot totally tell.
Murdered Out for the win! 🔥 🔥 🔥 .
I hate chrome myself
Quick question, when you installed them did your brake lights work like normal? After installing the brake lever, my brake lights don’t turn on unless I’m pressing on the brake lever with force
That’s odd! I didn’t have an issue at all
I just swapped my levers bro the caps were a pain to take off lol had to use a micro flat head for glasses so I wouldn’t scratch the bike parts lol
W U R D / Love Them!!!!🖤
I just put these on my Indian 2 days ago.
Nice, how do you like them?
@@HER6GEARS I just took the bike out to day for the 1st time after installing them. I like them they're comfortable and they look amazing on my rogue.

I didn’t review it, just an install video. I probably should.. I recommend it though! It’s super bright and it looks great. Money well invested

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll make sure to check that out next time I upload.

Hey hope you doing good asking I own 2022 scout bobber those levers will fit for that year?
