A CASTLE Full of ANTS SWALLOWS a MEALWORM Whole

- My new dream colony of Marauder Ants (Carebara diversa) has secretly been working on increasing their worker population within their nest, deep within their castle. With a booming colony, and their Queen, named the Titanic Empress, constantly laying eggs, I felt the ants were finally ready to receive their food placed at a far location within their terrarium. I hoped to watch the colony swarm and form their iconic trails to and from the mealworm I wanted to feed them. What ended up happening was truly a sight to behold! Hope you enjoy this week's ant video! Ant love forever! This video was shot in 4K Ultra HD resolution.

Ohhhhh yeah my daughter has been watching your videos for about four years now and is absolutely in love with ants because of you. My brothers and I got into Antz about seven years ago and I’ve been watching your videos. Keep it up brother to do amazing work, and I pray that only good things happen to you.
Thank you! How awesome! Hugs to you both! Ant love forever!
My son learn English watching your videos. He waits with me each week. Thank you!
@@AntsCanadayou got me into ants too and I will always love you for that
i wat hed this guy for years too hes awesome
@@AntsCanada I have suggestion but take it with a grain of salt since I don't actually own ants perhaps start your own mealworm Farm it's actually not that hard I had one a while ago to feed my lizard
I really do love ants for their ability to work and do things together despite not having the highest intelligence or strength. I find them incredible.
PART 2 (Continuation of this Episode) is NOW UP: ua-cam.com/video/ZGTq3lmwszY/v-deo.html
1st hehe
2nd hehe
Yayyyyy the Levisthans can grow more.
Thanks for using one of my favorite games theme (countryball Europe 1918
The ants on top just standing there are looking out for everyone! 😂 that major at the entrance of the nest was so strong. She picked up the heavy end of the worm and took it straight in
Crazy right?! Ant love forever!
@@AntsCanada yes
Can you show the timestamp for that please ? It's okaye if it's too much of a hassle
@@josephseymour5386 14:23 You can see the major at work 😊

Who knew watching ants could be so much fun. Your love and excitment for ants is infectious. Keep up the good work!
I know like bees and ants in rl r so boring but then bees and ants online is so interesting
I love how the queen was like OMG ARE WE LIVE ON UA-cam at 1:47 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 She hates the limelight, literally!
I just love it on how a pupue is just sitting on the queen
me too
I liked the use of the text overlays over just music with the ants for that particular part of the episode - kind of a throwback to the hidden videos where you just showed footage.
Bow.
Nice, senator
Yet again another exciting video by Antscanada
I love this channel. So fascinating and mesmerizing.
What the heck
Your story telling is amazing and I enjoy watching and listening to your stories about ants. In fact, it’s very informative and relaxing to digest knowledge from your videos! I guess ‘The Swarm’ would be my input for the name for this ant colony since swarm was mentioned many times 😂.
Thank you so much! Ant love forever!
In the 4th grade we had to do a report/presentation about an animal, any animal we wanted. I chose ants for some reason, maybe because the game SimAnt was the new hot title. But what I learned gave me an appreciation and fascination with the field of myrmecology and I have enjoyed the AC family for several years now. Thanks for these videos!
Love this game
I remember watching this when I was younger and to come back for nostalgia reasons it’s amazing
Call it. The Brave army.
I can’t wait till they get super majors, so excited to see this colony grow !

I always thought the ants riding on top of their prizes were lazy or confused, but from this video I see that when they come to overhanging obstacles these ants help to facilitate the passage of their burden!
Makes me wonder if the ones that ride the super majors might have more purpose than energy conservation. 🤔
After about 5 years of watching you i still click on every video as fast as i can
The amount of effort you put into filming these super up-close shots for us is amazing. Thank you for another great video ☺
Gonna be blazing a trail with that new Fire Ant Colony! Can't wait to see what kinds of trouble they get into! :D
I think you should really push to get those amazing blue ants we seen some time ago....they were stunning and unique!!!
14:25 😀 A major came out to help pull it in once the others had brought the meal worm close enough to the nest! 😍
👇 Chicken nugget Kingdom
Chicken nugget chicken nugget
Nah bro😅😅😅
Chicken nugggggggggggggggget
This is abusive to my axolotl nugget
The ants hitching a ride on top to protect their meal reminds me of all the people on the Indian subcontinent and in Indonesia who climb on top of trains because of how overcrowded they are! The queen wearing her babies as a dress is the equivalent of when zookeepers hold giant snakes around their necks! 😂 Yes, these ants are smart cookies! Remember like you said, SCALE! To us, carrying a mealworm is nothing but to them, it's everything and they're all in this together! So adding that extra weight of debris WAY before they got to the nest would've made it more challenging. And Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker Suite playing as they carry it back to their next is chef's kiss. Tchaikovsky's touch on music is one of a kind. THIS is the power of music! Music tells a story. And in this case, beautiful classical music helps drive the story of your channel!
Thank you for watching and happy you enjoyed the episode! Ant love forever! ❤️🐜

@@AntsCanada i know a game that you might like its called empires of the undergrowth
@@jench4ever Yea i play that game and its called empires of the undergrowth which its really fun! And you can even choose your own colony.
Awe-inspiring, in just a couple weeks, the colony got so much larger!
Oh yeah
Hey! Been watching your stuff for a few years now, I remember stumbling upon your cockroach giving birth video from years ago, because of you I got to try out caring for ants (altho my mom got me a vertical sand one and I wasn't home enough (divorced parents) to take care of them, plus I was like 12-13 so that was a bad idea. But you do a great job of giving me that feeling even when I am unable to take care of them myself, I can watch you work you magic with the AC/fam, keep up the great work! ☺️
I'm so glad you're still making videos man! I used to watch your videos like 5 to 6 years ago but i stopped watching more and more and i started losing interest, i honestly loved your vids back then i still do❤️
You have a lot of awesome vids to catch up on omg! 🎉
he really misses the pheonix empire calling the queen ember empress 8:34
His colony are so good he went 1 colony to an universe of colony we love how you make us see how ant are special insects
Does anybody else feel like a newbie at ants when they’ve been watching this channel for years?
The name of your Queen ant is Queen Lily
At 10:57: ant in the upper right is directing traffic! "Easy does it ladies! There's no rush!"
I love seeing some of the worker ants just riding on top while the rest work on bringing it home
Such a beautiful ant colony. I've been watching your channel since the pheonix empire and I've been addicted since.
Awesome! Thank you for watching! Ant love forever! ❤️🐜
same, the pheonix empire brought a lot of viewers ig

Imagine being jealous of Ants because they work better together than humans
Man you're a whole blessing. I am currently working on finalizing a very chimeric fantasy race that is specifically well-known for extreme reproductive proclivities, called the Tyraks. They were heavily inspired ants and locust. Many of your videos have provided such amazing content to watch and excellent inspiration! Absolutely fantastic work dude, loved how Queen literally wore her babies xD
amazing video. Ants canada is the most popular ant keeper, also amazing closing statement too I knew that empress was going to lay eggs because if the queen lays eggs and become larvae, those are the nanitics. Also have a good day!
Really cool video, what a step up from the last size we saw them. Poor mealworm😅
I find it really satisfying when ants swarm other bugs and insects and drag it back into the heart of the colony
2:44 "Please spared me" ahh drag💀
I love this channel I've been watching it since 2018 it has taught me so much about ants and I will try to catch an ant queen to start a colony
Thanks so much! Ant love forever!

I've been raising C. diversa too! Incredible species, man.

i love those ants im really exited to see the major and super major to join the swarm on the hunt if only there were more big ant
That major lifting the whole mealworm into the castle was the best
This is really awesome....I loved this colony❤️❤️❤️❤️
ah yes the moment that you gave us the information that the fire ant queen was fertilized and had pupae, one singular thing went through my head and out my mouth "Finally, two worthy Opponents!"
So now the question is: Are you Team Marauder or Team Fire?!
Team fire ants. even though I live in the Utah USA and closest thing to fire ant are harvester ants
@@AntsCanada hrmm... honestly i might be a little biased cuz i've been playing an Ant RTS game and my favorite colony type is fire ant
So happy we have these ants back on the channel!

Poor mealworm. The ants had a real feast!!!
Can't wait to see the new fire ant army grow
That was so amazing to watch, like a TV documentary clip
I love the ant feeding vids. Although my favorite is still the live feeding. 😅
Finally a new update of my favorite ant colony
I really want to see you fabricate a Mount Olympus for some Camponotus Herculeanus, and make its outworld with a mini Greek Coliseum for their feeding area.

It's totally a Gen Z ant!
that ant dancing at 10:55 is remarkable
Love Your Videos! I’ve watch every Saturday for 1 year.
Omg u liked the comment!
Cant wait for more updates on this colony!
Others might be skittish when they see ants, but a powerhouse queen along with a swarm working together like this one is the sign of a healthy and thriving colony. To others, pests. To us, beauty. Life, no matter the creature, is beautiful. Because life is a GIFT! Them piling on the grains on the mealworm is the equivalent of humans when it comes to freshly poured cement on an urban sidewalk or quicksand in adventure movies. Would you walk right through it and get stuck, or would you try to avoid it? For the ants, the solution is covering it all up.
I totally concur, Mr. President!

Doesn't Kim Jong un support killing everything, literally opposite of what you said,(plz don't bomb me)

"Heave! Heave! Heave- Come on, the queen is waiting!!"
I definitely voted! This colony is amazing! It was fun seeing the ants bring back the mealworm, I hope they enjoyed it. It will be exciting to see the colony grow.
I'm so happy for you 🤗🤗. And since you started you never gave up! Such a big Inspiration!
I love how at 8:35 he called the Titanic Empress the Ember Empress 😂
When I visit my grandparents the first thing I do is look for any colonys and look at the for the whole day and never get bored 😅
Man, Im impressed that nature could impress me like this
Wow their colony is getting big!
11:46 why is that one ant on that rock near that horn twerking?💀😭
Haha! It's releasing pheromones and creating vibrations (aka stridulation) to sound the alarm! Ant love forever!

You can almost hear the ants shouting as they come out of the feeding spot " guys hurry! Look at the size of THIS!"
This will feed our entire nation and have many more later.”
This was the last video I watch before I went to bed now I'm dreaming about ants in fancy clothing dancing on a mealworm while listening to classical music.
Wow they are soo awesome! I hope you upload more videos of these ants. Cause they are my dream colony too.
