- Taking a look at one of the most AMBITIOUS inventions in the fishing world, the infinite ultimate. With a whopping cast range of a few grams all the way up to 160, both bait-cast and spin configurations and even a fly fishing rod thrown in for good measure this really pushes the limits of what can be achieved with just one tube! This rod is ideal for lure fishing of all varieties but can also be used for a range of methods. Pike fishing, perch fishing, carp fishing, sea fishing, bass fishing, trout fishing and much more! I wish I had time to use all the different set ups, but on this occasion I was a bit pushed for time. This rod is a great bit of kit though and i'll definitely be using it again soon!

I think if any company is trying to progress the tech involved then fair play to them. I use Daiwa spinner kit and if I'm fly fishing I use Bloke kit, but props to the company for thinking outside the box. Tight lines.

I had a multi propose rod about 25 years ago ,it was glassfibre and didn't do any method very well , the fly rod was like a length of liqourice lol , however , advances in materials and technology will no doubt make this package more viable ,I'm always tempted by these rods as go motorcycle touring , but tend to prefer individual travel rods as I fish BFS , 10g is a tad heavy but still BFS , . These rods are a great example of what can be achieved though , as long as you keep the rest of the tackle minimal , or buy it in place , you have a set up to tackle most situations .
I had the same rod and it was equally terrible in every function, but a good idea if you could only afford one rod. :-) Things have moved on and this fits in your rucksack as well.
That sounds like a very interesting bit of kit would be great to have a go using something like that now to see how it compares. Thanks for watching!

Possibly didn't want to alert larger pike of it's struggle so it isn't chomped?

Much cheaper than I thought it was Gona be plus warranty plus parts replacement. Really thinking of getting 1 if they still have any left by end of month. It is! I don't do much feeder fishing so I couldn't say for sure

Bit of a gimmick those rods
It’s definitely novelty, but that’s to be expected with something that’s only a limited edition run. When it’s gone it’s gone! Performance wise it’s a good bit of kit too

Are parts available to buy to convert my adventure x 5? to this ultimate infinite rod or not as parts look interchangeable.

Does the infini max include both a light LRF and a large sea fishing combo?
It’s not really ideal for LRF mate, and as for sea fishing it depends what kind. LRF you really need a much smaller rod!
@@adventurefishinguk I have the Smuggler 5 for lighter fishing but was just checking if the Infini would make a good combo for both when travelling.
Which rod would you recommend for compactness and fishing against harbour wall/on beach for cod, bass mackerel etc?
@@Adam_Outdoors for heavier duty fishing definitely the smuggler S max. That’s good for beach fishing and pier fishing as well as pike and carp! It’s the most powerful longest one they have
@@Adam_Outdoors but again too big for LRF. There isn’t really a rod you can LRF with as well as beach fish! Maybe the predator if you didn’t need to cast far

oredered one in Amazon, they said they delivered, but i never recieved it, Rigged said its not their fault.
It’s the fault of the carrier mate it’s come from amazons warehouse so the delivery person could’ve nicked it/delivered it to the wrong place/lost it and not owned up to it
such ashame that the hand grips mostly roud the thread of the reel set with all the 'soft' padding in front of the reel where the hand never goes. Typical of rods trom Temu and Ali Express including the construction. You get what you pay for, you really do.

Yeah the infinite max is a big rod! The infinite mini is the smaller version 👍
Must be rubbish quality otherwise proper rod manufacturers would have come up with the idea ,as with using a fixed spool and baitcastng reel on the same rod rods are only meant to be bent one way as they have a spine,well quality rods do
You'd be surprised how good it feels and how nice it is to use. There is some compromise in relation to specialist rods, but it does it's job very well
