Madisen is my homie so I fixed this for her for free if she brought me a coffee. Was pretty limited on what I can do with this one since there was only 1 feet of wrap left and some scraps. The wrap jobs I do can mess up as well depending on the car and when I did it. That’s why I do videos exposing myself. I always say it will never be perfect, but I will always fix it for you if I messed up at no additional cost. This video is just to show you how I would fix something like this if there’s not enough material to redo the whole panel. I’m not a professional and just wrap cars for fun. If you are really picky I suggest you bring it to an actual professional wrap shop that can guarantee perfection, but as you can see here that can also be risky so do your research!

Just because your body panels aren't original doesn't mean that they can't be secure. She needs to go through and put all the bolts/clips that she's missing back on.

The wrapper may have taken them off and not secure it back properly . She didn’t give the wrapper head so he did a shitty job
It probably is secure. I have the same car and my front bumper is an OEM replacement and it's also misaligned in the exact same way where that one side is touching my fender. Seems to be an issue with the aftermarket ones
Post heating is SOOOOO important. I spend a LOT of time on each panel after wrapping to heat all the edges and trouble spots. Don't be afraid of the heat - when the wrap is installed, it's very hard to overheat it. It should get hot enough where it's uncomfortable to touch. You want areas to lift while you are wrapping, not after it's out in the wild where dirt and water can get it. As far as brands... I have used 3M, Avery, and Oracal. I just wrapped my son's S13 with Paradox's candy cherry ruby red and I can say, the finish is amazing, and the air release, adhesive, and stretchability are on par or superior to the "big guys". Will be buying from Paradox from now on. Do it yourself! Nobody cares more about your car more than you ;)

Alot of these so called wrap shops are SCARED to try calendered film (Some Teckwrap, Tintbot, FrogVinyl) it has a higher gloss but its thicker! They just stick to 3M and Avery. Hell they dont even like touching KPMF (the very FIRST pioneer for wraps) since its so tacky to work with. If you can wrap Calendered film you are better than most shops with their easy Avery.
Got to be careful heating matte metallic wrap. Found that they can gloss out pretty easily when post heating.
Madisen's car is bunk as hell. Glad you showed what was wrong and explained why it happened. I see this a lot from customers who get their wraps done at other shops. 3m is a really good material and one of my preferences to wrap with.
This chick is the worst customer… gurantee she choose the cheapest wrapper in town and wants to not pick everything on her destroyed honda….

I just wrapped the same car in Vivvid. It was my mismatched daily and it was my first time wrapping. After lots of piecing together and tons of newbie mistakes, it looks just like how she rolled out your driveway! I am shocked that she paid the other wrapper for DIY quality work. I feel like I can slowly get better and add wrapping to my business services considering the prices and quality here in the Bay Area. Have a great Sunday Paradox.

@@anonymous_messagenothing wrong with vvivid. I've wrapped my car twice with it and never had problems and plus it's way cheaper. Seems and feels high quality to me. I never understood why ppl think it's low grade and or every ody thinks they have to have the Gucci Prada of an oversized sticker lol. It's like buying a regular white tee then polo has that same tee with a tiny logo on it lol
@@thekoenigsegg Vivvid for me feels cheap and tacky but I guess it depends on what you’ve worked with before. Once you wrap with higher quality film you’ll notice the difference.

I appreciate you sharing this. I have been watching hours and numerous videos thinking I could possibly do this. Watching this gave me goosebumps thinking this is probably mistakes a beginner could do and how to try and avoid it. In all it grounded me back to earth and realize it is not as easy as it looks. On another note love Madison...don't judge don't judge 😅 love how she kept saying that.

I think some of the fault is the cars and not the wrapper. Issue is that you need to make sure all your panels are secure. Moving panels will hit the wrap and ruin the edges.

Until she wants to take it all off and she's got all these lines on the car from your razor cutting into the paint
Using correct pressure from an experienced installer will cut only the wrap and not the paint
Finally someone mentions this. I’ve noticed he sticks the blade way too deep til he touches the body or light then he cuts🤦♂️

Can you wrap my bike? 2022 BMW S1000RR M with carbon fiber rims and some carbon fairings. The only painted metal is the gas tank and depending how far away you are is it possible to ship it to you? Love your attention to prep work and details!

You have to practice and make these mistakes in order to learn and get better. Once you do your car 4 times you will be good at it
I'd rather my car be bolted and clipped together correctly and ride down the road with shaking parts off. I can deal with the "looks" later. Trying way too hard to be cool seems kinda silly.

They didn’t do a perfect job but that car has more issues with vibration and parts falling off then how bad they did so I would say maybe 10-15 percent there fault
Sometimes companies need bashing when it’s an extreme issue but I wouldn’t be slamming other companies before knowing that if half the clips and bolts where not missing you wouldn’t have more then 1-3 minor fixes just my opinion

Lol yeah I did scratch it but I’m also fixing her issues for free. Anytime you mod a car accidents can happen and you have to be willing to deal with that. She can get her chrome deleted and hide that scratch

Looks like she might have got what she paid for. I'm guessing she didn't want to pay extra to have the tail lights removed, any of the trim removed, headlights removed, door handles, mirrors disassembled etc. The extra work could have solved a lot of problems and if you don't want to pay.........

I had wrapped grills mirrors spilers, in snow, ice, rain, heat. Sun. 0 damage, paint is old tech
@@AlphaFlight Zero cars from factory come with wraps but paint is old tech? All wrap does this and it has its uses on accents or small areas but this stuff just sucks and it's always more aggravation than it's worth 10 times over.
