How to Factory Restore Schlage Door Lock

It is normal to not know how to setup your Schlage Door Lock.
You may use it many time every day all year long, but you never configure it.

What do I do if it doesn’t light green? It lights red?

That mean you have input the wrong password to many time, you have to wait about 2 minutes before you can try again... Or use the key.

It will reset it to the one on the sticker. Every doorlock have it's own default passcode.

Factory reset will reset both programing and user code.
The programing code and user code will be reset to the one on the sticker.
