I bought those stencil brushes before you got the purple handled brushes and loved them. I loved them until I used the Winston Newton brush cleaner per your recommendation and the cleaner ate my bristles. Dissolved them. So please use dish soap or some kind of soap to clean them.
Hi Jeffrey! We have some tips for you on not bleeding under. Be sure that after you load paint on your brush, you are offloading it onto a paper towel. When you stencil, you should have a really dusty layer of paint. Here's a video showing how to do this: ua-cam.com/video/wt3RGxq-utM/v-deo.html Happy Painting! Please let us know if this helps and if you run into any other issues.
Drop shadow is a great way to do that. You can watch our playlist here: ua-cam.com/video/mMj6pUcnoBs/v-deo.html We also have playlists for backgrounds, making projects look distressed, and adding bows. All of those will help make them look less flat.
Good question Sherry! We have a team of designers that have made an art form out of bridging (the piece of mylar that connects the stencil so the parts don't all fall out). We work really hard on making the bridging as least noticeable as possible so it doesn't have to be filled in unless you absolutely want to. Here is a video where Patty talks all about bridging and why we do or don't bridge: ua-cam.com/video/qHh-AXEwMy0/v-deo.html On some larger projects, we do fill in our bridging. Here is a video where Patty shows how she does that: ua-cam.com/video/DQ6Uzwy924U/v-deo.html
