Thank you for this video . This mechanism is like swatch eta chrono 4 jewels mechanism . I change some components from this eta to g10 and g10 to eta mouvement ,donores .
Anyone know the specs on the case back gasket (O-ring) for this watch? I know it is hard to get Tissot parts un less one is an authorized repairs shop, so the size of a generic O-ring would probably suffice.
These Tissot PRC 200 are full of problems one being that a simple shower can get water into them and they claim to be water resistant....NO EXCUSE FOR SUCH POOR WORMANSHIP by Tissot who is an overrated Swiss cheese brand. I have 200 and 300 dollar Citizen watches that have lasted 10 years or more...something a Tissot watch will never achieve yet people buy the Tissot branded watches as a status symbol when they are unknowingly being ripped off by poor overrated watchmaking skills. I will take a Japanese watch any day over an overrated Swiss cheese brand just like my cars....all Japanese and all have a history of hitting 300,000 miles with only basic maintenance. European watchmakers may think they are above Japanese watchmakers but they live in a fantasy world if that's what they think.
Typically the problem with water resistance on this and most other battery powered watches is that when the battery is replaced, and the case back reinstalled, it is usually not installed in a vacuum chamber the way it goes on in the factory. Also, the case back gasket should usually be replaced at the same time. If you had sent it to Tissot for battery replacement, then the case back would be re-installed in a vacuum with a new case back gasket and it would remain water resistant. Personally, I don't think it is practical or cost effective to send this watch back to Tissot for a battery replacement, so just don't take a shower with it on. I don't know why anyone would want to take a shower with a watch on. If you want a watch that remains water resistant, another option is to get the automatic manual winding version for which you will be much less likely to need the case back removed, and therefore will remain water resistant.
Man, you make it look so easy...So nice and calm...Great job!
top video thanks for uploading, it helped me a lot when fixing my watch. It did take me a few attempts to get the crown out but all sorted thank you.

My large yellow hand is not perfectly aligned to 12. Is it just a case of pushing it over a bit
You can adjust that easily. Google it.
You can adust that easily. Just google it. Very simple.
Hi. How can i tight the clown to original tight position after adjusting. My watch clown is simply rotating.
If the time rotating pin is broken how to make it
Can you make a video on it please
What was the problem?
Hellow! ¿Where cab buy this replacement?
Thanx for this video.👍
Hiya, my chrono second hand is slightly off the 12 marker alignment, is there a fix for that? Cheers
not really

I have a question, why you repair the movement and not buy a new one, i saw the same movement on ebay for 20€ 30€ 40€
Thanks
This is the same movement of the Swatch x Omega collab. Moonswatch..
yes g10.212, but the swatch moonwatch has no sapphire glas and no s-steel case, so the prc 200 is worth the price imo.
Indeed, I fitted a moonswatch dial in my PRC200
Quite expensive watch, meanwhile it looks a cheap fabrication inside.
