never ever ever lose your geordie accent!!
He doesn't own a Geordie accent. He sounds more like he's a Manc or something.
@@finckel2682 I think he does, but it's definitely squashed here. Maybe another reason he didn't like school?
The man's a genius.
I can remember we girls dancing round our handbags while the lads stood propping up the walls with beer glasses in their hands !!! 😂😂😂🤷♀
very good musician and singer and real rockstar
to me, it doesn't matter if he's a prick. we all did a thing or two stupid things at some point in our life but Sting, he's a gifted musician and a great song writer.
anyone else notice how much he blinks?? LOL
he seems like such a sweet and funny guy!
top interview thanks
Saw him in Amsterdam last september: love him!!!
If you don't appreciate Sting's music you should try listening to the Lyrics and the Chord structures as 2 different entities - his writing is like a struggle to be different within the confines of both the English language and the 13 notes available!
He's a brilliant musician, saw him perform with Chris Botti a few weeks ago.
Sting does not have to change Geordie accent and besides the Police is one of the best and greatest bands in the world!
It got as far as Leeds. LOL!!!.
sexiest rock star ever!:)
1:03 👏
You never forget your roots
Sting da man
I also like three dimensional love songs. :)
Thank you Mr. Sting for that...
sting you the man
For the first time in my life, I understood what language Sting was speaking...
is very cool
how many years has he been in the same state of balding for?
@bastardester19 Sting is his stage name. He obtained it by dressing in yellow and black at a show. Colors of a bee, by the way.
It is funny that he says "I love you and you HAVE to love somebody else." Cause prostitutes don't so what they do out of love. But one thing is for sure... I LOVE Sting. He is amazing.
@hardcider09
Theyre a grade from further education. To sum it up, you get GCSEs from highschool, you cant then progress onto a college to get A levels, and if you get those you can go to university for a degree or some other form of job training, such as teacher training. However, most teaching positions these days require a degree, so sting got a little lucky in the 60s.
0:29-0:32
Haha. I love ya Sting :]
@shambelle2 not only dat , he is a genius
American lover of Sting here. What are "A levels" that he said he got that somehow got him into teaching. Are they grades on a teaching or graduate school exam?
They’re the exams you take after 7 years at a grammar school usually that should get you into university .
Try the streets of Amsterdam
We all seem to miss his old accent
@samouha10 I was thinking the same thing! I was expecting him to sound like Cheryl Cole!
is it ?
@samouha10 Coz he was brought up properly?
As the man says ayellow and black shirt poss bee sting?
is something connect this interwiever and Derek & Clive?
@LitaWWF Still a talented man
it was a yellow & black woolly jumper much worn by Punks of the 1970's
@shambelle2
i'll tell you whos a winner and a gentleman. you.
@bastardester19 No it´s not. Gordon Sumner.
What inane questioning
Sting may be from Newcastle, but his speaking voice resembles too much a generic North West accent rather than the Newcastle accent.
No it doesn’t ! My dad was a ‘ posh scouser ‘ and I hate Liverpool and the Liverpool accent and I can spot it a mile off !!!
Stewart Copeland was staying at a squat in Mayfair? How is that even possible?
when / year ?
i have a sting next me
I wonder if Sting is still infatuated with Aleister Crowley??
WHY DOES THE BBC CHANNEL HAVE COMMERCIALS
No no
whats the thing on stings lapel?
a WW1 charity poppy , nearly all Brits wear them every Nov' .
what is stings real name?
Hope you eventually found out 10 years later
I don't understand. He was never into music when he was really young? With a voice like that, I always thought you had to be singing since you were a toddler
he dosent seem a bad person here why do eople call him a prick all the time???
@kfirie
sting is his real name
STING IS BETTER KNOWN AS STING?
He got cained in scool? like cocaine cained? ali g cained? rhodes boyson cained?
@LitaWWF sucks for you then
Shame Sting lost his Geordie accent once he became famous though.
+Peggy Armstrong Ik!!
+Mark Richardson He did, probably just wasn't caught on camera
Crankcase - I 've heard people say that. Maybe you can explain why that is. Where was the pretentiousness in this interview?
I don't understand how you get that impression...he's just a person.
Ugh, Sting needs to regain his Geordie accent.
I actually NEVER heard him speak Geordie... the oldest interview dates back in 1979 and he was already 'southern-ish'... strangely enough, he often sings with a wee bit of a Geordie accent...
teacher beat us with a bamboo can! Normally on the hands but worse on your back side!
smug about what? Christ, have you ever had a conversation in your life?
Sting did NOT move to to America in 1977. Where do you get this bullshit?
Funny - I thought the USA was a democracy and people had to vote before you got the result...
gibb253 Love to you Sting!
