We wanted to clarify on the climbing ability of the scooter. Thanks for Paul from Electric Scooter Guide for reaching out to us to say that the ZT3 Pro can climb 25% grade which is technically 14 degrees. The hill we tried climbing is 19 degrees which exceeds the claimed climbing ability of the Segway ZT3 Pro. A 19 degree slope is equal to a 33% grade.
That's it! The scooter is advertised with 25%/14° and may also climb up a 15° hill with a driver of your weight, but 19°/34% is far above its climbing specs and thus capabilities. The single motor scooter VMAX VX2 Extreme (BTW also tested by Paul) could be able to manage this slope slowly but not this one here. 😉
Manufacturers always tend to advertise % slope rather than degrees as % shows the larger number which is better for marketing but can be a little misleading since a 100% slope is 45°
their GT1 and GT2 is 24/7 on discount because nobody buys them, highly doubt they will go for that type of high end scooter with their very safe manufacturing strategy.
I'd go with the HILEY Tiger T8 Pro... It's $799, has dual motors, dual brakes, dual suspension, and low-maintenance solid tires with split-rim (easy to replace), and can go 31 mph, and it's lighter. It's basically the original of the rebranded Splach Twin (which has good reviews)
Hiley T8 has much smaller tires which makes for a less safe and less comfy ride, and also has significantly LESS range than this scooter. This seems like a better option for the money to me. You can go a little faster, but after about 20 miles you'll be on your last legs and this segway will still be going strong.
@@sammysokosammysoko its pretty comfy and stable even at 30mph the dual suspension is smooth. full battery lasts me around 20-30 most of the time 25ish cause i like to stay pinned most the time leaning corners lol
@@kaizz3n I ride EUC but my youngest son wants a scooter. For my daily rides, 25 - 30 miles just isn't enough. I believe that, at the same 25ish mph, this scooter will get around 8 to 12 more miles per charge. I'm definitely not knocking your ride, man. I checked it out and it's been in the running as an affordable option for us. I just think we might be leaning toward this one now.
In france, electric scooters are speed limited to 25kmh (15mph) and the price tag on most websites is about $778 (permanently) so I think this is the perfect scooter for me.
After watching this review of the ZT Pro I’m very, very, happy with my NINEBOT MAXG2 scooter. Im still open minded, I’ll ride my friends very soon and I’ll see for myself how well I assessed this review.
I got a gt1 for the comfort and yes it’s huge compared to zt3 but the range and top speed for single motor is awesome for 1500. 37 mph feels comfy on the gt1.
We would definitely spend more for the GT1 but it’s not as portable. The GT1 was originally $2500 but they are trying to transition into their new scooters. I hope to see a GT3 soon!
@freshlycharged you guys have tried many scooters. With the GT1 being 1500. What would you pick, the ZT3 or GT1 if you are looking for ride comfort, durability and build quality. I don't care much about the speed, and that means I would probably get enough range with any of the 2.
I feel like smaller break disks like this would be nice. I always scrape my larger disks on curbs and crap when I least expect it. And when off road, I get plenty of little rocks, sticks & vines caught up in them too. So if it's supposed to be an off road capable scooter then yeah... smaller disks makes sense to me. I love anything tubeless, like most of us do (being easy to quickly patch), so that's great. Would've liked to see it hit 30mph at least. Maybe a slightly larger battery, but I get it. A lotta great features at a banging price of a stack. Nice.
The GoTrax GX0 with it's dual-motors goes wherever you point it. It's got the swappable battery so I can take one scooter and two batteries out to the park, and it's arguably cooler looking with the swag lights on the side. I love my GT2 for the road and my girl loves her Max G2 for it's hydraulic suspension and smooth ride. My kids have Segway C2 Pro that go 12mph and matches acceleration of G2 in boost mode. But 1-motor is not enough for off-road. It's just not gonna get you over everything you come across.

Don’t mean to be negative. It looks good. I like the light But that’s about it.
What do you want to see in a scooter at this price point?
@@freshlycharged that’s about all you can get with Segway. You can get a dual motor scooter for the same price 1299. There’s plenty of options. Segway makes it impossible to fix or upgrade yourself.
@@mikehagquist5198 not negative at all. Everyone has different needs and wants. Segway scooters may not be the fastest but they have the best craftsmanship we have seen on an electric scooter with the most tech.
Everything has an app these days. If you need an app to ride it, I'm out.
Yeah, it was very disappointing that you guys made that mistake ( climbing ability) and arrogantly stated "False Advertising" on the part of Segway! Really? The fact that it was Segway didn't give you pause to check yourself before publishing what you did? lmao! You really should be clarifying that you were arrogant dopes in your first review. Really, your tone and conclusions were not cool. You guys used NOT to be so sloppy. Shame. Makes me doubt all other FC reviews, past, and future. Guess really only need to check ESC.

40km hız olmalıydı
Nah kukirin best
Overpriced as always expected from this brand if I'm pay this much I rather get punk Rider
The Punk Rider Pro is nice but the quality is no where close to this scooter. If you value speed, the Punk Rider Pro is definitely more of a value. But the Craftsmanship of the ZT3 Pro is pretty incredible for the price point.
Bosco Park
Overpriced junk
Single motor. Single stem with a fake dual fork. NOPE.
Not even an option for me.
first
@vinhtran123 was technically first but thanks for being second!
Please stop drinking before your reviews.
I have enrolled you in American Airlines.
How these can blatantly lie without laughing is criminal, with all the scooters they have tested over the years and try saying this is a good scooter, please be more honest
This by far segway worst built scooter EVER....PURE JUNK
