This scooter is currently on sale for only $1,590. This is the fastest electric scooter I could find for under $1,600. You can get off road tires when ordering for no extra charge. Great video. Thank you Juiced Joyride.
@@devonbendig6968it doesn’t. i did research on that. 41mph vs 50mph. and for the price difference it’s definitely better. everything else that goes 50mph is over $1,900+
I've seen multiple people crash on that sandy path along the beach on dual motor scooters. The front just slides out from the sand. Juiced has good rider instincts.
the fact you went back and looked for the little rubber piece, let alone found it, was an epic win! its the little things lol great video as well, awesome scooter and epic burnouts as always
I got the Yume Hawk Pro for $1400, I can hit 53mph easy. Same battery, really similar design but I got it before they started selling the "wide" version so mine has the more squared off, industrial style fenders. It also has 4.5 inch wide tires, it reminds me of the Batpod from The Dark Knight. I even put a black and yellow Nolan batman symbol on the rear fender. The trigger throttle is way better than the thumb throttle, imo. It's just easier to manage your speed and feels like you have a better grip on the handlebars at high speeds. I did change the handlebar grips to the style that come on Kaabo scooters. Added a better headlight too, the stock headlight is alright but I ride through paved forest trails at night and you definitely need better illumination. Edit: I had the same issue with the rubber cap on the kickstand, a little super glue and I haven't had a problem since.
I've had this thing for 2 months. Put 400 off-road miles on it. So far, the only thing that failed was the iZoom brake lever. It leaked brake fluid, so I replaced it with a Nutt brake lever.
I have both the Raptor and the Y11+. I like the Y11+ better. More torquey and definitely a significant noticeable difference in more power going up hills with the Y11+ straight out the box. For some reason, the Y11+ rides more like a moped. I guess because it’s a bigger scooter than the raptor so it has a larger drive feel to it if that makes sense.
I want to get started reviewing electric personal mobility vehicles. We've got a very unique 23-mile proving ground for them here in Reno called the "McCarran Loop" with many elevation variances and fast lines and is somewhat bipedal friendly. Throw in the chances of rain or snow at any given time (especially winter) and there's an additional set of factors involving safety and IPX rating. I'm looking into my first purchase now.
It's nice to see another Reno person! I've considered doing the McCarran loop but I like to take my rides in areas with less traffic. Is there a local scooter scene?
@@ElScootisto Yes and no. Reno seems to be more about the Reno Bike Project or Street Vibrations (coincidentally going on at this moment) than it does with any middle ground. I do know that Johnny Law doesn't really bother two-wheeled drivers/riders until they have to. Like, Matt (THTV/JJ) wouldn't even get sneezed at but they'd have a constant eye on someone like @Surronster. There are plenty of gas powered 49cc scooters (and higher) but I wouldn't call it a "scene" until someone creates one. 😉😏
@@aaronrogers1971 That's cool. I ride my Mantis King GT all over town and haven't had any issues with cops either, as I ride respectfully and follow all traffic laws. I was mostly curious about group-rides and the like. Maybe Reno's just too small.

Thank you for doing this review! I’ve been waiting for someone to do it. I’m debating between the Roadrunner RS5 and the YUME Raptor. Which would you recommend? Also, do you keep these scooters, or sell them once you’re done testing?
DO NOT BUY YUME I would’ve 100000% gone with RoadRunner or Nanrobot had I actually done research into the company. My scooter came with a couple missing screws and a flat front tire. I bought from their website directly. They aren’t responding and they very likely won’t. BE AWARE if you do buy from them, your scooter has a 50/50 chance of not working from an assortment of issues. If it works, you have nothing to worry about. If it doesn’t, you might consider buying from a different brand.
@ my scooter came in perfect condition, everything worked except one charge port, but I fixed that by unplugging and replugging in the connections. YUME support was very responsive and helpful when I contacted them. I’ve heard both good and bad about both YUME and Roadrunner customer service… My Raptor absolutely rips and rides super nice. I ordered directly from the website as well, got a $50 discount and a free steering stabilizer. My only issue is my NFT card doesn’t always read, but using the code or the Bluetooth app works perfectly
@@Morris279That’s good to hear you had a great experience. The inconsistency is just so unfortunate. Finally finding something to ride was very important and now I’m not gonna risk a 3rd financial loss. But to be fair my luck on quite literally everything is horrible so I should’ve known. Cheers
@@imkingmason good luck man, sorry to hear you’ve had such bad luck. I really debated with myself between the Roadrunner and Raptor, basically came down to price and the power available for the price. I may still pick up a used Roadrunner RS5 2.0 for “the wife”, there’s one for sale at a good price near me.
I have two NiU scooters. Being a long time vehicle driver on the road for nearly 50 years I prefer to be in the traffic flowing with it and not off to the side in a bike lane or on the sidewalk. Neither of my scooters(Max & 300X) can maintain steady traffic speeds unless it's congested and traffic is moving slow. The Raptor would be perfect for me to be on the actual roads. I hate having to worry about driving on sidewalks and so on.
Ive had my Raptor since march, 800 miles and only needed to replace the front brake pad. They sent me the knobies, and im still waiting for those tires to wear out. Darn good scoot.
@ejude6513 got the samsung bat. And the knobbies aren't too bad. They smooth out after a few hundred miles. They really turn heads with the sound and they are 100 mm wide vs the 90 of the street tire
@ejude6513 to answer that I have to admit I'm about 2 sandwiches short of 285lbs and I live in a hilly town. But traveling between 25 to 35 I get a solid 28 miles before it starts to slow down. You still get another 5 miles of ok speeds, but after thati call it quits. I think that's darn good. At least in my humble opinion.

Question, do companies send these out to you for free to review and keep or do you send them back after the review? If not, do you sell any of them by chance?
I’ve always questioned Yume and the longevity of it’s products. I’ve heard a lot of thing regarding how after a year of use, users will find themselves having to fix a lot of things….but that is just speculation. At first glance this scooter looks great but also doesn’t at the same time. I’d really like to know and understand how this ride is after a good year of moderate use.
