This practice offers a gentle series of postures that are great for beginners or anyone who feels like they need a nurturing practice that is not too challenging.

I rarely like videos and never subscribe, but I've done both for this channel 👍🏻 I watched this last night on my VR headset. As a 48 year old man now starting to get the odd ache and pain here and there, I figured prevention is better than the cure so I'm wanting to start to learn yoga / pilates. Not inspired by the gym anymore. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and videos.

Excited I just found you🎉 I'm 62 yrs old & 70# over weight I have had 2 partial knee replacements 14 yrs ago. After those surgeries it was impossible to do anything on them anymore even impossible to crouch down anylonger. I've decided that's just to bad for the knees feeling uncomfortable, I'm going to make them do this! I so so miss doing yoga I do have a foam pad to place underneath them. I'm on a weight loss journey and you have come into my life in perfect timming 😊

Wonderful beginner practice. I had shoulder surgery 4 months ago and this was doable except for downward dog. I’m working up to that with physical therapy strength training. I’m so glad I found your channel and looking forward to learning and doing more yoga. Namaste ❤

Hi Charlie! I have been practicing yoga since 2 years and have been following you for the last 6 months. I am somewhere at the intermediate level.
I’ve undergone a laparoscopic surgery recently, and was advised not to do any strenuous activity at least for 4-6 weeks.
However, I didn’t realise how much mindfulness and peace yoga bring into my life. I started doing only because I wanted to reduce weight and have some flexibility. And though I’ve achieved both but I never really understood the mental well-being that it was bringing along… until now.
Now since I am not able to do yoga for sometime because of the surgery, I was kind of restless and my disciplined routine got broken. I tried painting, journaling but somehow I was not able to get the happiness that a one hour yoga session was able to do.
Finally, I felt like starting with some easy gentle yoga (of course after listening to my body and consulting with my doctor). And I was hesitant at first if something gentle would give me THAT kind of satisfaction that achieving and holding a difficult yoga pose does. But all my uncertainty disappeared in that first breath. I don’t know how a simple 20 mins yoga could uplift my mood so much, but it did! I feel happy and mindful again! Thank you for doing whatever you do. You’re amazing!

I have had let fitness and health slide for a long time due to some life struggles. But I have been looking into different nutrition, calisthenics, and yoga content recently to try and work on my health. The problem is I've been LOOKING, not DOING. Until this video. :)
I take spiritual things very seriously and while there are some eastern things that really resonate with me, I've found some yoga content to be jarring to me personally because of the individual's personal beliefs being brought in (which is fine for them, it just made it hard for me to relate). So that was one thing I appreciate about your content here. It was simple and peaceful and I was able to do this and be in my own spiritual place.
And I know this says 'gentle' and 'beginner' in the title, but I found it very challenging. I did it all though! I finished a bit sore and some of the poses were harder than they seemed, but I did it.
I'm not sure what it was that resonated with me about your voice or personality, but you got me off my butt and on that mat and I thank you for that. I know you have a lot of content on here for me to look through, but I hope you keep making more and I'll try to catch up. 🙂

You rock miss Charlie ✌️ I really loved this class I've been out since I hurt my leg it been really hard on me not being able to do my yoga stretches very depressing to but I started really doing your meditation and ujjayi breath and it really help me on a deeper level of understanding I think that everything happens for a reason I believe this injury really help me to gain a deeper understanding of yoga and to be more kind to myself and to learn to be patient thank you miss Charlie for being a awesome teacher you've made such a impact on my life thank you for all the amazing lessons 🙏✌️

Thank you so much for this. I just had total knee replacement 6 weeks ago and my body is so sore and achy. I don't think I'm used to being this still for this long. I'm finally at a point where I can move a little better and this yoga session was exactly what I needed. There was one position I could not achieve on my knees even with a pillow underneath it, but everything else felt like heaven and my body has not felt this good and this this relaxed for weeks. I will definitely add this one to my regular practice.
This was a lovely gentle practice. Trying to recover from sciatica so for me this was a perfect pace. Namaste
