Motorcycle Tour of Wales Episode 2 Aberystwyth and Red Kite Cafe Days 2 & 3 Fat Lad on a Bike

- Now settled into camp in this episode we cover days 2 and 3. After a lengthy ride down to Wales in time more than miles we decide to have an easier day.
So we have a ride to Aberystwyth to explore its seafront and other delights before heading back to camp and a nearby boozer for a few pints.
Day 3 see's us travelling to a Cafe thats renowned by bikers called the Red Kite Cafe. Watch out in this one for the anti-biker in a red car Grrr.
We then return to camp via a beautiful single carriageway road riding through some amazing scenery and giving me chance to send the drone up for the first time this tour.

Right I've had a stupid busy weekend so I've saved this until I have time. Have sat down with a coffee and a KitKat and I'm ready for Steve and the guys to take me for a trip!

Great stuff Steve, I was lucky enough to have sampled an ice cream at Aberystwyth in July after a quick trip to Wales on the bike. Amazing roads. Did laugh that you missed the entrance to the bike park ! sorry

Steve . If you ever go back to Mid wales again ? Take the Machynlleth road to Aberdyfi A493 Then look for a sign on your right saying Happy Valley . Takes you right over the mountain and brings you out between Aberdyfi and Tywyn . Fantastic single track road ...

Bought a Mavic Mini 2, it's tiny but works well.

Yeah I knew about your drone Richard shame that, John has the Mini 2 and its a great little thing like you say. If John hadn't pulled in as quick as he did I would have carried on to that car park as knew it was there. Thanks for the comment my friend.

When you return next, after the Red Kite Cafe go a bit further on on the A44 and take the left towards The Nant Y Moch reservoir. And then go around that and continue to Talybont, you wont be disappointed at all. Love the vids by the way. Tommy

Hello Steve and friends, been a while but good to see you out again, we did that area couple years ago, Snowdonia is superb, try to stay back in the traffic to have a clear run, St David’s was really hot on our trip, having a ride up to Yorkshire on my own with tent for a day or so hoping to cut across to Scarborough and home down the coast. Stay safe chaps.

Sadly the Pan Euro became to heavy for me to manually manoeuvre about fella so changed to the lighter BMW. I've not ridden with the other 2 for ages now and yeah they had RT's.
Great vid Steve. I was interested to know what intercom do you use mate I am thinking of having a change. I have an old sena unit that's been very good but needs upgrading.

Incredible scenery. What brand are using for blue tooth headset? I want to set up my helmet. How about your camera brand, is a clip on or stick on? I live in Mexico, I will have to wait for a few months the rains can get very nasty. I am going to watch all your videos. Excellent quality thanks
Hi Allen we use Sena 20S comms kit in our helmet and the camera's are Drift Ghost S as main camera and Drift Stealth 2 as dash cam, hope that helps mate.

excellent as always... how do you manage to combine both audio clips.. do you copy John's video and just take off the audio and time it with youres...? it is very well edited Steve I so need to brush up on video editing.
In my editing software I add Both John's and my Video and audio tracks and once married up to each other the audio sorts itself out as when I talk obviously John isn't and vice verca. I just swap video views from one an other. hope that helps.
