The Elan. Valley, one of my all time favourite places. Been going there since I was 17 back in the early 80’s. It really is a magical place and your video has captured its majesty beautifully. The drone footage is astounding! There is another dam to see if you ever revisit that is the largest of the dams (Claerwen dam). When you passed Caban Goch dam the turning on the left that appears to be a bridge is actually a submerged dam which only comes in to view when the level of the reservoir is low. Turning left and.following that road would have taken you to Clarrwen dam. As always, thank you for making and sharing your brilliant journeys and tours! All the best mate 👍🏻

Hi Robert thanks for watching mate and in answer to your question I take my footage and audio from my camera and also have John's footage and audio from his camera so 2 memory cards then put both in my editing software (sony vegas 14). Then I sync the audio's together once and the conversation is clear from one anothers own camera's. Hope that makes sense.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt Thanks for that Steve. how do you pick up the intercom audio to the camera? The sena and the camera aren't connected? Sorry to be a pain
Richard both John and myself have the Sena 20S intercoms which have their own microphones in our helmets to speak to each other, we also clip our camera microphones to the boom of the intercom mic so we both have TWO microphones in our helmets to be able to speak to each other and record that speech to our camera's recordings as well. hope that explains it mate.

Another tip to remember cheers Tommy
Thank your very much for the tour. That was better than going to the pub at happy hour.
I have been researching your blue tooth helmet, I am liking the ghost drift X (5 hours battery life and extra pieces) The Sena is for your communications and commentary? I am new to the complete set up.
Allan my camera is the Drift Ghost S sadly not made anymore but the X version is very similar. And the comms kit is the Sena 20S hope that helps my friend.
A lovely view point here at around 5:21 with a slate monument with Cader Idris mountain in view and you can just see the sea.
Yes Tommy took my eye off the ball there as had us stopping there but missed it mate.
Love your videos except for the music. No need for music with those beautiful views. Thanks for sharing. Prayers Flying for safe travels
Thanks for that fella, its hard to decide on the music, I do get comments about how good the music fits but also get like yourself people who would prefer none. Ride safe my friend.
Hi Steve. Thanks for another great video... Can you tell me where can I buy a sticker like the one below John's new addition. The fat lad sticker. Do you have a special site? Cheers
Thanks Indy pleased you enjoyed it mate. John actually designed the stickers but we only had a dozen printed for our own bikes didn't think anyone else would want one but you've got me thinking now LOL ride safe my friend.
Nice to see you and your buddy’s on a bike tour, and judging by the vid , even the weather looks good, I f I may ask , what cameras and film editing software you using please , I’ve given up on go pros and use DJI osmo , take care stay safe and thanks for the video ,,, Shane uk 🇬🇧
Cheers Shane pleased you enjoyed the film and in answer to your question we use drift camera's and to edit I use Sony Vegas 14 a bit old now but I'm so used to it. ride safe mate.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt , thanks Steve , I used to use Sony Vegas , then moved to shotcut and now prefer it and also started with drift hd, and also great cameras definitely areodinamic , but now use DJI osmo, however you’ve cracked the audio , clear as a bell and picture quality very good and editing spot on , so your combination all works perfect , look forward to your next vids take care ,thanks for reply Shane

Cheers Rich pleased your enjoying the series and we only had a few stickers printed for our own bikes. I am amazed at how many people have asked if I sell them. it probably is worth considering my friend.
Great video again Steve ! I have just bought a 2014 RT and I'm away to west coast next Sunday ! Do they handle as well as they all say on the tight stuff ? Im only 5-4 so could be interesting haha .
Hopefully you have the lowered seat as I do but yes they handle supremely well its amazes me every time I ride it. ENJOY my friend.
great vid,any chance of sharing the directions.
Thanks fella pleased you enjoyed. if you let me have your email I can send the gpx file to you.
Rode out to the Elan Valley a couple of weeks ago from Northampton, the visitors center isn't much to get excited about, staff got a snotty about me not wearing a mask. Great video Steve, do you think Europe will be back on the cards in the future?
That's because wearing a mask was/is a legal requirement indoors 😊👍
J R really hoping to get back to Europe real soon my friend when everything calms down.
A up Lad, just a quick un, what month was it you did this tour. I’m thinking of doing Wales this year and have been watching your smashing vlogs for tips. Keep up the good work fella.
Hi Paul thanks for the kind comments fella and it was June when we did this one mate and your in for a treat as it's amazing. Ride Safe my friend
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt On your Video at 1.32 mins that is a Tree Trunk believe it or not.

Fantastic roads. Is this last episode of the holiday, no more mentioned at end?
Cheers fella and no its not the end of the series more to follow yet my friend.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt Wales looks great, seen a few vlogs from there this year, like Scotland but much closer for East Midlands. Only done coastal holidays or just inland apart from my Harley Davidson experiences day in 2007, though went up coast as far as Aberystwyth on way back from Pembrokeshire and crossed Wales a few years back but unfortunately on 4 wheels. End of life story lol
@@derbyshireruralrider9398 Ha ha thanks for all that. I love Scotland but have to say Wales is easily on par with its beautiful scenery. Ride safe my friend.
Steve I have a DJI Mavic pro 2 in the manual it mentions not to fly around power lines and other sources. I was wondering about you flying by the tower that it may interfere with your drone signal?
Didn't affect it in any way Allan think they bsay that stuff just to cover themselves if anything goes wrong. Also think it would "return to home" if there was interference. Happy flying Allan.
enjoyed this route steve will be following it next weekend when im in wales, do you have a gpx file for it please
If you let me have your email will send GPX file for you to look at and maybe modify for your needs fella.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt many thanks ill send details via messenger on facebook
Morning Steve, great video yet again, good to see you out and about
Question, how do you get the intercom audio from the Sena 20S to your camera? A mate of mine has the same configuration and has tried moving the Drift microphone near to his Sena speakers but it's pretty crap. Thanks in advance
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt Thanks Steve, I appreciate your help Ride safe
@@robertradford652 no drama mate.
Class, how do we get a fat lad on a bike sticker?
