I made this today for the first time, on my new Ninja grill. They came out perfect. My baby backs were a little thicker, so they took a bit longer to cook. I'll definitely be doing this again. Thanks for helping a beginner!
You can (and should) enter the temperature and time, at the beginning, then hit start. The grill will preheat to your desired temperature, then tell you to add food. When you close the lid the timer will start to count down.
Love your vid recipes! So much more interesting than printed cook-books. I just bought a Ninja grill - totally amazing! I would recommend it to anyone, especially if they are single. It's kinda hard to cook for just one person. The only thing I've added to your recipe here is provolone cheese. I add it about 2 mins before the ribs are finished.
I buy everything based on reviews. Some said this was hard to put together ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt some guy said 2 hours and 2 beers later. I didn't drink beer like I was going to. I didn't feel like going to the store. I'm assuming I would have had at least 3. I took my time. Stepped outside for a cigarette break a couple times but all in all it was about a 3 hour project for me but it wasn't like it was difficult or anything . Only pictures but everything is pretty organized and labeled although I didn't see any #s on the actual pieces like it shows in the diagrams. Only the screws were labeled. On the cardboard part of the packaging on the back side. I put it together in my living room too. It wasn't supposed to rain today but it's Michigan and I couldn't wait so I put it together in my living room. Without beer but beer would definitely have made it more fun that's for sure. I'm giving this a 5 for easy assembly. I'll update after it stops raining when I can take it out of my living room and cook some food on it. Hope this helps at least for people who think they can't put this together because I did and you can too . And there are extra screws. I got nervous and immediately came here to see if others had the same experience and they have. You're not doing it wrong. There will be extra screws. Be patient. Don't rush it. Drink beer. Happy assembling
I got my Ninja unit last week. I stumbled on this recipe about ribs. I I am very good at smoking ribs outside, but in San Antonio, Texas in August the temps outside are terribly hot. So what better way to start to using the Ninja. I followed this recipe to the T! and oh my goodness!!! in just 40 minutes I had some of the best ribs I have ever eaten. It can't be this easy...but it is!!!
Hey James! I just subscribed to your channel. As a black woman, I can say that your videos are great. Can you please do one with beef country style ribs? I would love to do some for Thanksgiving. I love your video because they are so well detailed. You leave nothing to wonder about. Keep up the great videos!!! Ty G.
Just made this with St Louis ribs. Did 1 hour at 300 then added sauce and another 3 min at 300 . Came our perfect . Temp at 185/190. Too bad can’t send a photo
Going to try your method tomorrow I have the newest version of the foodi grill and my ribs are bigger so I'm hoping I can cut it to fit both pieces on. If mine turns out that good I'll be happy. Plus air frying frying. This will be 2nd time I've used since Christmas. I did Steaks, the only thing I need to get use to settings on the newer one it's a bit different. Steaks were awesome 👌
@@CookinWithJames I think I figured out why it's because the American version measures in Fahrenheit whereas the UK version and most of the world measures in centegrees centigrade therein lies the problem as to why the temperature readings are substantially different however it did the job either way so fantastic addition to have in anybody's kitchen thanks for the response
You are "supposed" to clean your ninja after each use. You apparently have not cleaner your lid, cause it's dirty ! SHAME . . However the ribs turned out great 👍. We used your rib recipe last night and they were delicious. THANK. YOU

Lol. Yes oh yes. Much appreciated
All those long hot hours over the pit...gone! I too love this thing.
@@CookinWithJameswhat cooking time do you recommend for baby back ribs on a ninja FOODI grill
Einfach köstlich, so hab ich sie auch gemacht 😋😋😋😋😋 grünsse aus köln
I used the sear then bake method you suggested and they came out AWESOME!
Nice tip, thanks.
Thank u for this tip & the functionality of the Ninja Foodi Grill to get the tender meat 🍖
James you made some delicious ribs. You remind me its time I make some on my Ninja foodi grill.

I hear a lot about grill marks, but I have to say that they might be nice but no where near the most important thing that matters to me.
Looks delicious!
So good!
They looked so good ! great to see a fellow eating well !
Hahaha😝. I’m trying.
do you use any BBQ sauce when the ribs are done
Add aluminum foil to the bottom for easy clean up.
Great video and easy to follow your directions. My ribs were a hit thanks to you!

Good hints for tenderize meat. ❤️
Another great video James. Making this as I type!
Fantastic! Tell me how you like it!
@@CookinWithJames came out perfect. Wife and son eat most of the 2 I made that night.
Amazing
Thanks so much
I need to have this Looking so juicy and flavourful, very well done!
Oh yes you do! Hahaha😝! Thanks so much!
Can I bake them first, then grill?
Yes
Would the whole rack fit if you had laid them diagonally (corner to corner)?
Yes
What is the difference between Grill and Bake modes in this context?
Another awesome video. Thanks
Absolutely! Much appreciated,
Hello James omg nice video. Those ribs look great. Juicy & tender. Take care & have a great Saturday.
Thanks hope you have a great weekend as well!
Can you give me a pork loin roast the bigger one not those little ones, that recipe you have on the small tenderloin was awesome
It’s all about temperature. Same way.
Hey James, are you a product tester?
Followed what u said but can't seem to get the bake function to go anywhere near 300 degrees and got the same air fryer as u
Not sure… mine goes to 450-500

Watching this I am thinking these ribs took approximately 45-50 minutes to cook correct?
The video tells u everything
I know what we are having for dinner!
What? Hahaha😝. Sooo good! Thanks
I posted a pic in your FB group!
Karen Hadden that’s awesome! Will check it out!

Lol. Thanks. I use mine everyday.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks. Happy new year
They are all ready cooked baby back ribs
These are raw. Not cooked
I notice you didn't use foil but I guess it's not really necessary.
No. U can if u want to
@@CookinWithJames I cooked some ribs yesterday using the steps from your video. They turned out great.
Why wouldn’t you just cut the rack of ribs and a half and placed in the other way on the grill instead of cutting off two ends?
Ya you can do that. The ends can have sharp pieces that can cut you also
IM VERY IMPRESSED DELICIOUS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 😋
Why are rib marks so.pprtant to achieve?
They sure don’t look like fall off the bone
U can cook them low and slow if u want
Try riblits
I will for sure! I love riblets!
I haven’t cooked ribs yet, but wouldn’t you use the thermometer that comes with it? I use it for steaks perfect every time..
Great video but I had to get out with the eating in the microphone sounds.
Sorry. They were delicious
