That was a good one. Don't know if I commented on the walking backward video or not but I agree that it's easier on the knees. I'd walk backwards up our hill when I took the cat for a walk so I could make sure she was safe from critters. Sadly she passed away and I haven't felt like doing that walk yet. Still miss her.

I have been doing these workouts with you for almost a month now- I do them sitting down. I noticed today that I can do the knee lifts without holding onto my chair! I was able to do the arm movements and the knee lifts. I love seeing improvements. Thank you both for all you are doing. It sure does matter to all of us.

Hi April and Aiko. This is just what I needed. My sciatica started up again last week, so I've been doing a lot of back strength stretches. I start back slowing incorporating weights the other day. Love, love this cardiac health video! It includes both strength and aerobics together. My family from out of town just left to go home and I really didn't get a chance to do much exercising because we were doing too many outside activities. I have been working out with you since Covid. I always did the routines standing. I have a meniscus problem and no walking for a month. Walking is my cardio. Then it hit me like a bolt. Thank you for doing another HIIT workout . I alternate between your 15 and 20 minute HIIT workouts. Aiko - thank you for doing these videos seated for our older seniors, wish I had found your workouts in 2020 so I could have done them with my dad. I'd like to encourage you to take more sips of water whether you need them or not as an example to other 80 -90 year olds. As a care giver for my parents I saw how easily they got dehydrated without realizing it. Mom passed in 2017 shortly after she turned 88 and Dad passed a couple of months shy of 91. Keep up the good work.

So happy to see this new cardio/strength/HIIT combo this week -- and even happier that I was able to try it today! Due to a variety of factors, I've been having trouble sticking to my daily workout routine even though it has been several weeks since I recovered from my severe back pain and started trying to get back into it. So for now I'll just take it day by day and hope I can work my way back into the habit. This workout was a perfect way to get back into exercising after at least a week without formal workouts (though I have been walking a lot many days). April, when you asked us in the middle of the workout, "how' does _your_ body feeli? ", I was able to honestly say, "it feels good!" You look especially pretty with your hair down, and I'm amazed that you still looked just as good at the end of the workout as at the beginning! My hair is always pulled back into a ponytail during workouts, like yours usually is, and it's usually quite "dewy" by the end of them! 😅

I injured my metatarsal ligament in the ball.of my food after doing more high intensity workouts. I decided to do this workout seated and was able to do it without any foot pain and to benefit from the cardio workout. I'll be doing this workout every other day until I can resume normal exercises. Thanks.

That was a good one. Don't know if I commented on the walking backward video or not but I agree that it's easier on the knees. I'd walk backwards up our hill when I took the cat for a walk so I could make sure she was safe from critters. Sadly she passed away and I haven't felt like doing that walk yet. Still miss her.

I have been doing these workouts with you for almost a month now- I do them sitting down. I noticed today that I can do the knee lifts without holding onto my chair! I was able to do the arm movements and the knee lifts. I love seeing improvements. Thank you both for all you are doing. It sure does matter to all of us.

Hi April and Aiko. This is just what I needed. My sciatica started up again last week, so I've been doing a lot of back strength stretches. I start back slowing incorporating weights the other day. This was just the perfect amount of exercise that I was aiming for. Getting a bit of everything in.

My family from out of town just left to go home and I really didn't get a chance to do much exercising because we were doing too many outside activities. I have been working out with you since Covid. I always did the routines standing. I have a meniscus problem and no walking for a month. Walking is my cardio. Then it hit me like a bolt. Thank you for doing another HIIT workout . I alternate between your 15 and 20 minute HIIT workouts. Aiko - thank you for doing these videos seated for our older seniors, wish I had found your workouts in 2020 so I could have done them with my dad. I'd like to encourage you to take more sips of water whether you need them or not as an example to other 80 -90 year olds. As a care giver for my parents I saw how easily they got dehydrated without realizing it. Mom passed in 2017 shortly after she turned 88 and Dad passed a couple of months shy of 91. Keep up the good work.

So happy to see this new cardio/strength/HIIT combo this week -- and even happier that I was able to try it today! Due to a variety of factors, I've been having trouble sticking to my daily workout routine even though it has been several weeks since I recovered from my severe back pain and started trying to get back into it. So for now I'll just take it day by day and hope I can work my way back into the habit. This workout was a perfect way to get back into exercising after at least a week without formal workouts (though I have been walking a lot many days). April, when you asked us in the middle of the workout, "how' does _your_ body feeli? ", I was able to honestly say, "it feels good!" You look especially pretty with your hair down, and I'm amazed that you still looked just as good at the end of the workout as at the beginning! My hair is always pulled back into a ponytail during workouts, like yours usually is, and it's usually quite "dewy" by the end of them! 😅

I injured my metatarsal ligament in the ball.of my food after doing more high intensity workouts. I decided to do this workout seated and was able to do it without any foot pain and to benefit from the cardio workout. I'll be doing this workout every other day until I can resume normal exercises.
