17 years ago, I was going through some very painful mental health issues. I was unemployed and suicidal. I got a kitten, and I named him Leonidas. He pulled me back from that edge and gave me a reason to live. Two days ago, he left our world and is now running in the Elysian Fields. I am heartbroken, but I am honored to have lived at his side. I can't exactly explain it, but two moments in Snyder's superhero films that always stuck with me were Superman destroying terraforming machine and Flash going back in time to save the Justice League. Those scenes just hit me emotionally. Even though watching them without context probably doesn't.
Live longer. . . .
Because of the buildup. The story telling is so powerful because it is humble
Awesome moments. Superman when he flies through the World Engine always gets me. Idk if it was intentional or not but when he looks up at the gravity beam he looks like Christopher Reeves for a moment
I mean that scene of Superman destroying the World Engine can be explained as Clark mustering everything he took to heart from his father to overcome the machine's force. But for the Flash going back in time in Justice League it's just like, oh yeah don't forget we have a Flash on our team lol. And in whatever way that Justice League scene is emotional is not because of the character but because of it's visuals and the magnitude of the situation.

@Jjw338 wb since getting rid of snyder.
Historical record: today #Warner falls to its lowest price in history and an hour ago it actually touched $8.1, approaching $7 per share for the first time.
Neither Dune nor any Gunn announcement will save the company that will be sold in April and the new owners will surely cancel all projects and start from scratch to stop the damage to the Warner brands and franchises.
300 launched a many of legendary careers....
We need hm back to finish his Universe of DC. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Zack Snyder's Justice League are sooooo good!!!
It won’t happen. The actors are too old.

I was wondering where the opening started
Zack Snyder is truly a visionary. People in the industry also praise his work. Michael Shannon didn't want to play General Zod again until he got Snyder's blessing.
Then they butchered Zod in flash🤦🏿♂️
@@VideoRandomChannelfacts! Dude should’ve told him no.
And, he regretted it. Cgi'd face photoshop on a fake body.
As a lifelong DC fan, I’ll forever love the Snyderverse.
"I'll put you in your PAIN CAVE" said the spartan to the promoted 13 year old.
His enthusiasm is what keeps me watching his work. Hits and misses for sure, but let this man make movies!
Exactly! 🙌🏻
Let him cook
WE NEED THE FOUNTAINHEAD SERIES FROM ZACK@@hellolongden
Just don't let him write them, or choose camera equipment. Loved 300, but Rebel Moon and Army of the Dead were both trash.
@@abcav297 kinda agree and I'm someone who likes his DC stuff.
I think Zack works incredible as a visual director but the visual that he needs to adapt should come from someone else like Nolan or something
Zack was ahead of his time with his superhero movies.
Lol stop
Agree. He would be the right choice today or two years ago.
his adaptation of superman made me a fan of the character
Not at all
Killed DC for a decade
It's very rare, I watch a fantastical movie and I feel like I'm reading a book. 300 made me feel like it's my own imagination running wild, It was like a dream. Surreal, it seemed.
I unapologetically love his films. I understand some aren't great narratively, like Rebel Moon, but I still loved it. His style is so uniquely his and he gives you something no one else can.
Unsurprisingly rebel moon wasn't an adaptation. Which is why it was trash. Turning masterpiece comics into movies ain't that hard
@xsamuraibear947 people called Watchmen "unfilmable" for decades before Snyder tackled it, and most comic adaptations seem like it would kill the filmmakers to stick to what's in the source material. It seems like it shouldn't be that hard but it is for some reason b
Man of Steel was so sick, the Krypton opening was 🔥wish there was a trilogy of those films
Yea. Great point. Man of steel had amazing story telling and amazing visuals
WB made a sequel to Shazam but not Man of Steel 2 😐
@@JediKnightoftheSnyderCult Fax. Tf were they thinking.
I mean there kind of is. The JL trilogy is Superman's story.
The trilogy is Batman v Superman and Justice League
nobody is talking about Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole that is a gorgeous movie, which kinda deserves a sequel
Zach is 58?! Damn. Looks good.
Imagine if he directed I Am Legend? Crazy
My father is a huge fan of Henry Cavills Superman. He loved Man of Steel and the Snyder cut and he will play them sometimes when I visit him. I always love watching his eyes light up when Superman shows up at the end and kicks the living shiznit out of Steppenwolf. Thank you Mr Snyder for helping me and my father bond, he has some pretty serious health complications and it brings a tear to my eye thinking that he may not have much time left but you have given us many fun moments to share sir and I can’t thank you enough🙏
Beautiful moments. Blessings my friend.🙏
if life revolved around witht his type of energy ..we woulld be better ,even with biden as president
Man of Steel is the shyt, Justice League is amazing
I feel you, man. In the same boat. Love to you both.
