Cold Water on a Hot Day

- The wind has been blowing for well over a month straight and finally laid down for a short while. A friend and I launched through two foot surf and paddled a 24 mile route looking for fish. My video camera fogged up to the point I couldn't get footage from it, so I pulled out my phone and did the best I could with what was available. Wet hands and touch screens don't always play well together but I tried. The dirty water near the beach was 84 degrees, but six miles off the beach it got really clear and cold. Around the farthest rigs the surface water temps were hovering around 70 degrees, and splashing water onto myself really helped me keep from overheating. I'll try to fix the camera issue and get back out there for a proper video soon, but in the mean time here's proof I'm getting some miles on open water.

Tyler said that there was a problem with the host company and I believe they shut down. He was looking for other hosting options last I heard, and I sure hope it comes back up soon.
