How to create appliqué letters from free fonts using Embrilliance StitchArtist Level 1

Want to create one of those cute "MAMA" appliqué sweatshirts? It's easy to create the design if you have Embrilliance StitchArtist. In this video I'll show you where to get the free font and how to create the file in the software.

But I’m having trouble understanding why when I remove the stitches to make the letters connect before I turn it to applique, it adds the stitches back when I turn it to applique. Any insight on how to keep the stitches removed? I have photos on explaining what I’m describing

What could be the reason why it saves as be type not pes although I choose to save it as pes.

In order to save it as a PES file
, you need to select save stitch file as. If you choose to save it as a stitch in working filed, the stitch file will be your default file format that you set in your preferences.

This was incredibly frustrating for me too, because i purchased Stitch artist Lv 1 thinking all the basic things were included, it is not. thats where they get you. lol
