BA4 and 5 are spreading like wildfire. More than half of the people I known who’ve flown in the last month have gotten COVID. There are concerns about repeated infections leading to lifelong chronic health issues. Doctors here in the US are despairing that we’ve surrendered to COVID. I’m not so sure the dropping of masks in airports and airplanes will turn out to have been a wise choice. I don’t know. We’ll see.
As an African cabin crew, I can't wait to have you on board our Uganda Airlines CRJ-900. I know you were a part of our A330-800 delivery, but it would be amazing having you back on board while on your African adventure.
Thank you for an excellent expose of African Airlines (traveling in economy class) which for the most part are overlooked by your counterparts. I really enjoy your objectiveness and genuine concerns on the travel experience. Keep up the great work.
On the aesthetics side the colors of the cabin are absolutely stunning. Its not the bland colors that some airlines have yet not loud. The uniforms of the cabin crew are also very chic and compliment the cabin.

I live in Hawaii. I have a friend who comes over often for business for only a couple of days at a time. We were talking 2 days ago about how we have also noticed a change in people's attitudes towards each other in the last 2 years. We decided it was due to the political situations in the West. Every Western country seems to have been effected.
People in the U.S. have become downright uncivilized. I can give two shits about someone’s political beliefs….but it seems as if we have forgotten how to be respectful and understanding of each other. Trying to work some sort of an angle to exit the USA for at least half the year once I retire. Enough already.
My favorite video by you so far! I travel a lot and always want to go to new places but I'm terrified of flying so it's really nice to see you normalize (if you can say that?) these rare airlines that many would probably consider dangerous. Love love love the interior colors of the first plane and their uniforms are nice and bright...This is much much more organized than in Nigeria with Air "Peace"...What is the "smoke/condensation" coming from the overhead storage area?
the turbulance may have caused such an excessive motion that it caused the a319's autopilot to switch off. that couldve also triggered a switch or wire to be slightly offput to turn of the lights but the beeping was prob just the autopilot disconnect.
The autopilot disconnect aural warning will not be heard all the way in the back of the cabin. Most likely a smoke alarm going off in one of the lavatories due to a faulty smoke detector.
The planes remind me of Jetstar Asia. The crew remind me of emirates. I only ever had one good experience flying emirates when the crew were mainly Australian and English.
Great video! I've never been to anywhere in French speaking Africa so I can't say whether rudeness is a cultural phenomenon there or not, but at least your flights were on time and the aircraft were in good operating condition.
