Well being a engineer I like the geek stuff too which lets me see how things are done. Side note, thats the same firing system I have they were using for testing ... everything goes right I see a cobra in my future ... thanks for all the great training videos
I have used e-matches for our firework show for around 10 years and I never really appreciated how much work goes into making these. I knew it was a lot of work, but now seeing what is all involved including the machines necessary to turn this product around and now I know why they have a 99% fail proof guarantee.
Woah, those constant beeping noises would make me go insane. But it's so interesting to see how these are made. Made my first ever salute shell also today
Really nice to see this, I know fireworks is handmade business but all the fine steps it takes just te make this wire. And to think that this is bought in bulk by the hundreds. Good video, glad you shared it!
I was mad that I had a few fail this year. Now that I've seen the source I feel worse for the people that made them. Joel, if nothing else I'll never get mad about another bad wire.
Hey Joel, what's the legality status of these in the US. I've been told both ways. That these orange ebay igniters need to have a license to actually buy.
I wasn't originally planning on sharing this footage, but after reviewing, I thought some of you might enjoy!
Yes we did
I’m glad you did!

What? This is excellent unique content!
Name if this company??
That beeping of the continuity tests is stuff of nightmares...
It's amazing to see the relationship of cheap labor and waste verses the cost and efficiency of expensive automated production. Thanks for sharing!
It's also crazy to me because everything they make is one time use.
These workers deserve respect.
10000%. I couldn't imagine working on tedious and repetitive tasks like that all day.
Best electric match manufacturer video on the net. Thanks so much. I'm fascinated with electric matches.
I would love to see a video on how certain fireworks are made in the factorys!
I went to one factory, but unfortunately they had a no filming policy. Have a few pictures though! Next time I go back, this is on the top of my list!

You're absolutely right!
I never would have guessed the comp is applied to the match head prior to head being soldered to the wire. Very interesting
So jealous! Love the science behind pyro
Fascinating stuff.
It was really cool to see it from start to finish.

Great video Joel. Pacing was just right & NO annying music during the factory portion. Lol. Thanks for posting.
Being a Matchcover collector I knew how people made wood and paper matchsticks but now I know how electronic matchsticks are made.
Thanks for sharing brother thats very interesting to see!💥💥💥💥💥
Great video man! You don't see many videos out there following the e match process.. thanks!
That was pretty cool,I had no idea how much actual work was involved in making them. Thanks for sharing the video.
Glad you enjoyed! Right? I thought the same thing after visiting the factory.

Thank you, I totally agree!
That’s crazy how much is hands on for how cheap you can get these. I would have thought a large machine was doing everything.
Wow that is really awesome to see. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍💯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome vid Joel. Glad you made this.
This is excellent! I literally have always wondered how these were made!! Thanks! ;)
That is awesome!
So cool nice job on the video now I know how they are made
The most random interesting things sometimes and I love it I didn’t expect it to look like that idk what I was thinking
I hear that!
That’s dope man.
Imagine having to deal with that incessant beeping for a whole work shift.
For sure! I'd be rocking headphones lol
Yo love your videos
I love that you love my videos lol
This is cool.🎇🎇🎇
this is a really cool video i did not know that this is how they make it
Yeah me either. Very cool to go there and learn how it is done. I highly recommend a trip to China for any pyro!
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics i agree with u on that i never been there before i need to go there
Thank you china

Why did I think the thumbnail what fried chicken? Lol Nice video!
Lol, I could see that at a quick glance.
These beautiful piles of E-matches at ~4:33🤩
A bundle of ×50 costs me ~30€/$ including shipping on Amazon here in Germany😩
Probably way overpriced😤
That's Cool
Can you tell us what brand they are and did you set up a direct line to buy them from that factory?
Czematch and yes you can buy direct.
what would be cool is if you could tour cobra firing systems factory
Next time I am at the head quarters, I'll see what I can do!
Love you
Very nice footage Joel, keep uploading cool videos, do you have contact information for this factory? Thanks
Can the match head be used multiple times or is it a single fire then replace
Single fire then replaced.
joel,
do you know what the flux is they used to solder the nichrome ?
I assumed it was some type of solder flux, but I do not know for sure.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics I am also interested to know what kind of flux they are using, can you get this information and let us know?
Gdzie najtaniej to kupić?
i wanted to make those but no luck

E-match is regulated in the USA. That is why I usually use the MJG Firewire Initiators that are non-regulated
very good video, I use them for my pop-up buoys. until the Australian police made it illegal,
Thank you! Sucks on the illegal part.
I shitted👁👄👁
👍👍
Was the metal strip solid copper?
I do not know for sure what material it is.
