I’d say Zombie House has some appeal for the right crowd. Starts slow but then kicks it into gear, stretching out the duration a little. I enjoyed it! Thanks for the demo!
The finale on the zombie House cake was a million times better than I expected. After seeing the first four rows of basically single shot Roman candles. (I guess you could call them comets but those are some weak comments if they're going to be classified as comets, they just looked like Roman candle pearls) I wasn't expecting much for the finale (I'm not talking about the other two Willow cakes) so I was pleasantly surprised. ALSO, if they call that effect zippers, then I don't know what a zipper is. That didn't sound or look like any zipper I've shot. To clarify, I actually do like the Roman candle style zipper cakes. This one was just crazy slow at the beginning. It almost had the exact pacing of like just a regular tinball Pearl Roman candle, which is way too slow to call a zipper. I've always loved Roman candle style cakes because they can get a little bit more height than normal Roman candles, and if the manufacturer wanted, they could make the report substantially bigger. Because of the issues listed that's why I was shocked when that finale was actually pretty good.
Also, if you disagree with what I'm saying, put the ZOMBIE HOUSE cake video clip in 2x speed and tell me that doesn't resemble What you consider a zipper cake.
It took a bit for that zipper to start zipping!! That middle row had great colors and pace but I think I will pass on that one.... Those Willows looked REALLY nice though!!!
Yeah, seeing it in action, I'd probably pass on the zipper too - but unfortunately, I bought a case of it a few months ago. Lol. It's a rewrap of a DF1 cake that WFBoom sells called Storm Surge. I had to double check, but it totally is. Oh well. I think having it go in front of a couple other cakes will liven it up a little. The colors are why I grabbed it though. And it was cheap with their discount. I think the case was around 70 bucks for a 2/1, so it's not all bad. Haha.

Here's my idea on what I was going to shoot it with...now this will be my FINALE....Fancy Freedom, Star Spangled Mammoth x3, Red, White, Blue cannister shells x6...I don't want sky puke!!!! I'm an old pyro in his 50's and just want to put on a good show on the 4th :) Thank you!! Anyone, please feel free to chime in and help a fellow pyro...Also is there a website or anywhere you can go to maybe see what blending fireworks together would look like?? I've looked at some of the show builders, which aren't bad, but it seems they never have the cakes I've bought. Thanks again...Will be looking for more of your videos Joel..keep em coming :)
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the channel! Yeah, I think you are right on the money. Fancy Freedom and Star Spangled Mammoth would look great together, then throw the shells up right at the last volley of the cakes. Since they are all RWB-themed, even if some are pearls and others are strobes, it will still look great and not be sky pukey in my opinion. You could get a trial of the Finale 3D software and try that route! But even that route, you may have to simulate the fireworks yourself. Unfortunately, there isn't really a website that I'm aware of for this. The show builders you are talking about are great, but those companies are paying for those simulations of their specific product.

I like your suggestion with the cannister shells at the end...Yeah, I figured since SPM fires slowly there shouldn't be too much in the way of that sky puke, plus I'm trying to get a layered effect...I assume SPM shoots pretty high, so that should be above Fancy Freedom
@@corntoe7030 Yeah I like it! Plus, if you have the whole Fancy kit, two of the cakes are fanned anyway, so SPM should be over the top of those regardless. The middle one may bleed a bit, but I don't think that is an issue.
The zipper started slow but had a nice finish and the willow cakes were very nice with big breaks and great blue color. Very nice demo
