So far I like the 827 I put on my Special Kei. I chose it after killing the Emax I had on it because I've been EXTREMELY happy with the 640t I have on my Deadbolt and it was only a little larger than the Emax. I had to rotate the ESC tray up to fit it, but was still able to with the short front links.
I was shocked to glitch out the black label! Needed to pick up several servos, so these 827s fit the price bill, and something new. I have yet to step into super high end (Reefs, DSM, Savox) for these micros. I may try that 640t in the future though.
@@bcochener, I'd highly recommend the 640t if you've got the room for it. For around $30 it's hard to beat. I have mine pushed back as far as possible on the MOFO mount. I had to heat sink a nut into the servo horn to have something to screw into though. The holes are larger than 1.4mm.
If you can get them I definitely recommend the proline hyrax mounted on treal weighted rims with CI soft foams in the front and med in the back!! Definitely check it out it’s worth the upgrade! For any scx24!
One of the only tires I don't have yet! I will eventually pick some up. New Pit Bull 1.0" tires on the way as well.
I read somewhere that the X2S2 compound is softer than their new S3 compound. which sucks since all their new tires are in S3..
by the way how do you like the Tsl narrows compared to the boggers?
Both have a great feel, w/ TSLs feeling softer with the stock foams. Boggers are def more aggressive, so depending what surface you run. But, I think you’d be happy with either.

Not a burner. I have a 12T pinion on it on 2S.
but it can slow crawl like no tomorrow with this Komodo motor/Lizard ESC.
