NEW 55MM Injora Comp Pin Tires - Review, Comparison, Crawling runs & More!!

- In this video I get my hands on the brand new 55MM Comp Pin tires from Injora and throw them on our Axial SCX24 deadbolt! These new tires are a smaller version of the comp pin tires released earlier this year. However, there are some differences between the two tires above and beyond the size. Check out the video to see this tires in action!

I just added these tires to my build, and really like them, very sticky and soft. Unfortunately here in Canada there is 10cm of snow down, and I don't have an indoor course to try them out, so I'm gonna have to wait to fully test them. I'm really glad you tested these, and said they are a great tire, now I know they're good if Adam from Cape Crawlers said they are. By the way absolutely love your channel, one of my favorites🙂👍

@@rrzrrich The wheel wells are cut out and injora +4mm metal front and rear axles . It climbs like a goat 🐐 lol !!

I've fitted my mini pins to injora deep dish with brass ring, using slymeballz V2's and vented the tires. OMG just tried them for the first time with my LCG lightweight rig and im climbing lines I always thought were impossible... I couldn't climb these lines before with my Comp Pins with 47g brass injora wheels but I can with the mini pins cause they reduce the rigs lower centre of gravity. Just going slow and letting the tires grip up these rocks.. Every one has different terrain they climb but for the sandstone course I have they're my new favourite. BUY THESE MINI PINS! Think I'll get another set

I prefer big for ground clearance. But just after the 64x24 they haved release another big tire with the S5 compound and a more rough profile.

I have the 64mm pins & when I saw the 55mm pins I ordered a set. I’m thinking about putting them on my Trx4-m
They would fit great on the TRX4M. I didn’t compare them directly, but I bet they are very similar in size to the stock traxxas tires

On the deadbolt? She’s in the middle of a big transformation. That’s why the front end is torn apart.
Have you tried them without foams yet? I just got them and want to know if I should leave the foams or take them out. Will be mostly indoor crawling on foam course with real rocks, sticks, etc. They seem very soft to go without foams. Thanks in advance.
No I haven’t and only because I felt like the foams that came with them are really good. I run them on vented wheels and they are plenty squishy

@@CapeCrawlers when I post the link it gets taken down. If you search OGRC 1.0 crawler tires super soft and sticky. Should be the first one. 54x19 with dual stage foams
How do you deal with your drive shafts popping out when your shocks go to far down. The problem I have is that I have to have a long drive shaft but the issue is that the shocks won’t go back In all the way and it will squat it

Hey Adam, do you have a recommendation for some good rims that fit 1.0 tires? Not sure if you've answered my question already but I want some advice from a pro.
In my experience the Mofo RC DDP or UPW wheels are the best. Unreal quality, tons of customization options, and easy to assemble.
How much were the wheel and tires total price?
Tires were $16 I believe and the wheels were around $20 on Amazon.
