Hey Chris! I took my leftover pot roast and used those noodles and add the other ingredients and man😊. I think too , the seasoning of the pot roast and a little of everything else you mentioned except the seasoning because the roast already had the flavor was BOMB! And I made sour dough garlic bread. This was delicious...but I still like mine with a Tbs of tomato paste added in at the saucy stage. And sometimes a wee splash of white wine. The frying technique for beef to make that crust on the pan though...? That is EVERYTHING.❤️
Cooking sherry also blends nicely with this dish along with some thinly sliced carrots or peas mixed in when adding the mushrooms to cook. I’ve not had this in quite some time and l’m so looking forward to making it. 🎯

Hey chris i made the beef stroganoff and it was very good .i have a quick question i had the meat a lil tough how do you get the meat to be soft and tender.
@@Melaniefan._.official cube was definitely not the right steak. However that’s the only steak that should have been tender because it comes pre-tenderized before it’s sold. But you can’t overcook cube steak or it will be tough and dry. 😐

Cornstarch is a faster process (about 2 mins) with no lumps. It’s a starch with no taste. While flour is a slower process you need a little more to thicken. It has some protein in it.

Hey chris i made the beef stroganoff and it was very good .i have a quick question i had the meat a lil tough how do you get the meat to be soft and tender.
Don’t cook it so long. Overcooking will make the meat tough and chewy. It will also be the same if the cut of meat is wrong.

Also make sure your steak is room temperature. If you add cold steak to hot oil it will shock the meat and it will seize up and be tough.

Yes, you can use either. I have used ground beef too. It’s really just what I have in the refrigerator at the time.
