The points some people seem to be missing: One - this is accessible to free to play players, Shiro Chi checkpoint and Grasp of Avarice dungeon beginning are not. Thanks for this demonstration. This was the only video I've found that actually bothers to explain how to get thru the transversal/jumping area. The other ones I watched were made by longtime elite players who just assumed that viewers were also practiced at jumping. As a player who hates jumping puzzles - especially in D2, given the imprecise, floaty, twitchy nature of jumping in D2, especially on mnk - I appreciate it! Cheers, mate! 🍻
I am glad you share the same sentiment about d2 jumping. I don't think enough people slow down and understand It's never been the games strongest area yet they keep doing it and has been the bane of several runs that would have had 0 deaths because of the slip and slide bs

D2 jumping is hilarious. I once started playing Apex Legends and found the difference in jumping so refreshing. Same with other FPS games. I don't play anymore, so I'm out of practice anyway and can't be bothered to do this recycled content all over again (had real fun with white nail glory days!). Glad to see that not everyone enjoys jumping puzzles. BTW, D2 has long blank areas between encounters because it is required in consoles to unload stuff from memory and make space for new sections. You will see similar patterns in Halo series and some big PS single player FPS titles too.

Unfortunately, too many D2 players seem to treat the game more as a job/calling/religion/source of self-worth, and are conditioned (brainwashed?) to accept as normal and fine almost anything Bungie implements. And their response to anyone who doesn't share their viewpoint is to label them complainers, low- or no-skilled, etc. BTW, I play with mnk, and have noticed that performing the same jump action can result in vastly different results, depending on the level, environment, level or even timing.
I would like to add that while its not the most efficient farm for EVERY weapon it should be mentioned. In the Cosmodrome behind Shaw Han where the fallen walker spawns infinitely. Killing the walker spawns a chest that when opened drops 4 heavy ammo bricks for every person that opens the chest. I seen literally seen hundreds of heavy ammo bricks lying on the ground and ads spawn infinitely there as well. The ads are not as dense as other farm location BUT infinite heavy available without having to burn raid banners or wait for ammo finders is nice.
to help with heavy/special ammo as needed equip these mods for this farm spot. helmet: heavy or special ammo finder chest: reserves mod matching weapon x3 feet: scavenger mod matching weapon shadow thrall will kill you quick- if this annoys you while you are in menus, switching weapons, checking progress of catalyst or quest, warlock arc soul rifts clean them up for quite a long time and may produce ammo drops too. additionally, there's a crouch tunnel you can rest in just to the left. they can't reach you there
Two other areas that work well if you don’t like the jumping puzzles. 1. EDZ right there at the church when the cabal move against the fallen which is usually where I go when I’m by myself. 2. The alters of sorrow on the moon. Usually do this when in a fire team. The info you provided on the red lights I never knew, so thanks for that. lol I just thought it was mood lighting. Great vid👍
lightfall campaign breakneck is good also, especially for heavy weapons. you'll come to a spot where you have to shoot the door, then there's a rally. you'll get about 50 kills, then die to the chicken in the back. you'll respawn before the door, and you'll get a new rally point to renew heavy

the best catalyst farm is mysterious disturbance unlimited ammo for any gun and unlimited hive spawns without killing the shrieker however its best to do it at night so you can easily farm without new players progressing the mission. Since the mission changes weekly you can have a friend load up a character that hasnt done the shadowkeep campaign or you can use 2 platforms and join yourself to start the mission without waiting a week permanently
to anyone who doesn't own shadowkeep, you'll have to acquire that expansion to access this mission. it is the first mission in the expansion and won't be replayable until you complete the shadowkeep campaign which is roughly about 6 hours playtime
I usually just do these "organically" while I am playing, as I am not in a "get it done yesterday" hurry lol. I just did all the new weapons bounties in the new onslaught except for the sniper rifle, I did that one in a lost sector on Nessus with sniper rifles in each slot. Great suggestion Sir Sausage!
I tried it, but in the end I went back to Shuro Chi. Works better for me. Got teleported back to the start of the jumping puzzle and that made me rage quit the mission. 😂
there are ways to control what zones your spawn will be. i'd need to test that for this area. but as seen in the video sausage spawned right atop the farm spot
there's also the mission with the Cryptolift (spelling probably wrong). You get to the point where you grab it after killing the wizards, once you get to the darkzone, jumo off the edge, and they spawn faster!! If you haven't done the moon quests, you can save the mission. Otherwise it's on rotation
A good spot is Breakneck mission where you smash the door, do not kill the wyvern(killing it activates next checkpoint) about 65 kills, die from wyvern and it resets to right before door. This place is great for precision kills. It is filled with vex goblins. Easier precision kills than taken thrall.

I like it because its easily accessible (free to play location) and doesn't require you to burn raid banners or wait for heavy bricks to drop. Finished Dragons Breath catalyst, Spin to Win, and Edgelord there in about 20 minutes each. Special mention to Altars of Sorrow plus you at least can get decent rewards upon Altars completions. the main thing to note about this farm is that there needs to be a player in the load zone with the specific mission that spawns that walker in. fortunately, these days there appears to be a constant flow of them. if others crowd this farm spot, as i've seen on the rise this year, then just go back to shawn hawn and run back, you want to get out of the load area, so going into the lost sector doesn't work
My favorite spot is in the EDZ. Where we land for Xur, I kill all the enemies on the left side of the map until the drop ship spawns. Then just kill'em as they drop to keep them spawning.
Quick tip for the sniper bounty for into the light - Cloud Strike’s aoe kills from a precision kill counts as actual kills. Got it done in 2 minutes (Shuro chi but could have done Avarice)
First thing I do every reset day is drop into Ghost of the Deep dungeon, beat the 1st encounter and then book it to Ecthar Shield of Savathun and use his little arena as a mini hoard mode for the week to test out builds, weapons, or to just mindlessly kill. This room gives endless hive spawns that come hot and heavy.
I just go to the start of the Avalon mission in the EDZ. Takes no time to get there, enemies have close to no health, spawn infinitely, no time limit, option to get precision kills. And if needed, you can also get the Queens favors which allow you to infinitely spawn grenades and powered melee. Definitely worth doing if you’re trying to get a lot of kills, including multi kills.
Seems it would be easier just to go to the Dreaming City and do that one Ascendant Challenge with the giant hive guys and the endless thralls that spawn. I was in it one day and couldn't figure out how to beat it so the thralls just kept coming and coming and coming. The best part is you could be in it immediately without having to go a long way to get there.
once you're done farming and want a safe place to switch, if you look left and crouch there's a little room that you can crawl into...lots of bodies but nothing in there other than a safe place to swap your weapons
From where you are standing there is the "vex room" (entrance can be seen briefly on the left hand side at approx 8:42). If you go in there the npc's will despawn. At the other end of the room you can go a little way up the ramp and the npc's will despawn. Can be handy to check progress. When you enter the green room you can drop down the first large crack on the left hand side. If you instead of dropping down go under the blocs (to the left) you will find another "vex room".
For my hunter mains. Grasp of Averace with Teather farm the intro. Don't deposit the engrams and farm them for supers (every 10 engrams) at 100x stacks die and reset.
just tip on the sliding block part if you spam your jump button you mover faster its a tip that has been long forgotten from the old underbelly days of leviathan
I keep the Cryptoglyth checkpoint on the moon on one of my guardians. Best for primary levelling but plenty of heavy or special drop with suitable armour mods.
I did all the weapons bounties on the moon running through the lost sectors then doing waves in Altars of Sorrow. The lost sectors were great for the precision ones like the scout and sniper rifles. The waves were fantastic using my hullaballoo wave frame.
This place is good and better it is playable whenever, BUT the best Weapon Farm spot is still the OG secret "In the Deep" Mission on the moon.😉 Comes around every 3rd week but the amount of Thrawl that spawn is tremendous and they also come at you. There are many great spots to farm from in the mission but the bridge is the best. You can sit right underneath the hive ship, facing the Cryptoglyph area, and the thrawl will run at you,in a straight line (great for multikills) forever. We went back and confirmed this spot after the Thrawlway was nerfed and we called it the Thrawlway 2.0. Protip = to get even more ads to spawn amd even have them spawn on the bridge itself, you need to wipe right after picking up the Cryptoglyph. For some reason half of the ads won't spawn on the bridge unless you wipe and reres. It is not 100% necessary however it makes a difference. Either spot you use have fun.
The 2nd room of Mysterious disturbance on the moon, if you own shadows keep. just set up a private server, which is easy on PS jsut set the date manually on you PS to a future date while in orbit in thhe PS settings.
since "spin to win" quest from arcite is a thing, go in with any vortex sword and one heavy swoosh at that first blight destroys it straight away. time saved‼ plus swords is helpful in jumping puzzles they are
Catalysts acquisition definitely need a overhaul eventually. Should really be tied to what makes the weapon exotic n' mastery of it. Rather than just kill 100000000000x things
I'm always confused with these farm things, is Alters of Sorrow not just a really easy way to farm kills? I knwo there are a lot of folks normally, but there are a sh*t ton of enemies to kill there and you don't need to torture yourself with running whisper or entering stupid codes on the wishing wall (that never work for me anyway - but then I'm a simpleton and obvioisly never get it right!!) 🙂
Not really "new" if you played when this mission became available during the warmind dlc, technically its the og thrallway farm for old exotic catalysts
very very easy to get to...... if your jumping works reliably. Between my satellite connection and a laptop with a max refresh rate of 60Hz, there's nothing easy about jumping. sigh
Not for me thanks, as I hate jumping puzzles. Found an even better one though on another chainel. IYou need to have a character that has NOT completed Shadowkeep. If so, start the campaign by going to the "A Mysterious Disturbance" mission on the moon. Get to the second section which has tons and tons of thralls coming at you. Make sure to NOT activate the six sigils as if you do, you will progress and this will no longer be available. It is no problem if random do it though, so don't freak out. Just go to the director and reload. The coolest part is there is unlimited heavy crates all over! Yesterday I banged out seven of the brave weapon quests from Shax in 2-3 hours. I REALLY want the superblack shader
That "thrall-way" is not new. OG players such as myself have used that spot many many times in the past but there are currently better areas which are faster to get to and do not have a timer. Shuro Chi encounter being one of them
Yes I do say that in the video - this particular kill farm is one of the best open to all players - all the other ones require certain expansions to access
Imma keep 100 wit you,breakneck checkpoint is the only thing you need for farming kills for weapon catalysts. You rally a flag if you need every time so there's no need for ammo mods and you get anywhere from ten% to 15% every run. The beauty is there is probably around 30 seconds of setup to do the farm. No shuro chi code and no jumping puzzle. Hope I helped all of you. Everyone have a great reset and a great day.
Lol, mate are you totally daft? I got my Shiro Chi checkpoint on the first try i.e. and I'm not even a Raider. It's much easier than what you just went through. (unless someone is needing practice for the Whisper Quest) Work smarter, not harder I always say.
Yes shro chi is easy to get but it's a very long winded process entering the symbols on the wish wall, plus you need to own The Forsaken Pack to gain access. - this Farm is free for all players.
this farm location is total garbage. Grasp is way way better. the secret to grasp is as soon as trash mob is activated just stand ontop of that building in the middle and nothing can touch you including the wizards. the wizards, the lower one, can shoot you but just get behind the pillar that is in front of the building by just going to the right on the roof and you are good. the only time that farm loc. gets tricky is when you are leveling special and heavy weapons because you will need to jump down to the ground to re up your ammo. just wait for all the balls to explode that are around the ammo then make a quick run and get the ammo. there ya go. no jumping puzzle, no timer just right off the rip killin.

I just use the opening of VOD, just kill the 3 abominations in the beginning and everything continues to spawn forever.
If you still have to do the new sniper rifle bounty, take the cloudstrike sniper the area effects are counting towards the bounty.

Doing that whole mission when it came out initially was a royal pain in the backside, still have flashbacks.

Instead of the "corner", you can use the ramp also. It is a little bit better for AOE catalyst.
Used to use this all the time back in the day. Well Lock with Phoenix Protocol and you can just chain your super until your hearts content.

just tip on the sliding block part if you spam your jump button you mover faster its a tip that has been long forgotten from the old underbelly days of leviathan
The original Whisper thrallway was my OG go-to kill farm for a long time. Easy to access solo and unlimited Thrall until the timer ends.

I keep the Cryptoglyth checkpoint on the moon on one of my guardians. Best for primary levelling but plenty of heavy or special drop with suitable armour mods.
i have been running sorrows harbor. got them all done besides sword so far. You can warp right to the spot and its unlimited adds. lol
I did all the weapons bounties on the moon running through the lost sectors then doing waves in Altars of Sorrow. The lost sectors were great for the precision ones like the scout and sniper rifles. The waves were fantastic using my hullaballoo wave frame.
Hullaballoo slaps for the Midtown Onslaught with all those Arc shields
This place is good and better it is playable whenever, BUT the best Weapon Farm spot is still the OG secret "In the Deep" Mission on the moon.😉
Comes around every 3rd week but the amount of Thrawl that spawn is tremendous and they also come at you. There are many great spots to farm from in the mission but the bridge is the best. You can sit right underneath the hive ship, facing the Cryptoglyph area, and the thrawl will run at you,in a straight line (great for multikills) forever.
We went back and confirmed this spot after the Thrawlway was nerfed and we called it the Thrawlway 2.0.
Protip = to get even more ads to spawn amd even have them spawn on the bridge itself, you need to wipe right after picking up the Cryptoglyph. For some reason half of the ads won't spawn on the bridge unless you wipe and reres. It is not 100% necessary however it makes a difference.
Either spot you use have fun.
The 2nd room of Mysterious disturbance on the moon, if you own shadows keep. just set up a private server, which is easy on PS jsut set the date manually on you PS to a future date while in orbit in thhe PS settings.

since "spin to win" quest from arcite is a thing, go in with any vortex sword and one heavy swoosh at that first blight destroys it straight away. time saved‼

Catalysts acquisition definitely need a overhaul eventually. Should really be tied to what makes the weapon exotic n' mastery of it.

I'm always confused with these farm things, is Alters of Sorrow not just a really easy way to farm kills? I knwo there are a lot of folks normally, but there are a sh*t ton of enemies to kill there and you don't need to torture yourself with running whisper or entering stupid codes on the wishing wall (that never work for me anyway - but then I'm a simpleton and obvioisly never get it right!!) 🙂
my fav is the breakneck mission and you get a free rally flag great for heavy weapons

very very easy to get to...... if your jumping works reliably. Between my satellite connection and a laptop with a max refresh rate of 60Hz, there's nothing easy about jumping. sigh

Not for me thanks, as I hate jumping puzzles. Found an even better one though on another chainel. IYou need to have a character that has NOT completed Shadowkeep. If so, start the campaign by going to the "A Mysterious Disturbance" mission on the moon. Get to the second section which has tons and tons of thralls coming at you. Make sure to NOT activate the six sigils as if you do, you will progress and this will no longer be available. It is no problem if random do it though, so don't freak out. Just go to the director and reload.
The coolest part is there is unlimited heavy crates all over! Yesterday I banged out seven of the brave weapon quests from Shax in 2-3 hours. I REALLY want the superblack shader
That "thrall-way" is not new. OG players such as myself have used that spot many many times in the past but there are currently better areas which are faster to get to and do not have a timer. Shuro Chi encounter being one of them

Imma keep 100 wit you,breakneck checkpoint is the only thing you need for farming kills for weapon catalysts. You rally a flag if you need every time so there's no need for ammo mods and you get anywhere from ten% to 15% every run. The beauty is there is probably around 30 seconds of setup to do the farm. No shuro chi code and no jumping puzzle. Hope I helped all of you. Everyone have a great reset and a great day.
Yes Breakneck is great but the reason why I think this farm is so good is because its available for all players - Breakneck you need Lightfall

Lol, mate are you totally daft? I got my Shiro Chi checkpoint on the first try i.e. and I'm not even a Raider. It's much easier than what you just went through. (unless someone is needing practice for the Whisper Quest) Work smarter, not harder I always say.
Yes shro chi is easy to get but it's a very long winded process entering the symbols on the wish wall, plus you need to own The Forsaken Pack to gain access. - this Farm is free for all players.
this farm location is total garbage. Grasp is way way better. the secret to grasp is as soon as trash mob is activated just stand ontop of that building in the middle and nothing can touch you including the wizards. the wizards, the lower one, can shoot you but just get behind the pillar that is in front of the building by just going to the right on the roof and you are good. the only time that farm loc. gets tricky is when you are leveling special and heavy weapons because you will need to jump down to the ground to re up your ammo. just wait for all the balls to explode that are around the ammo then make a quick run and get the ammo. there ya go. no jumping puzzle, no timer just right off the rip killin.

This is not new at all..this was the OG farm b4 we lost io and it’s associated quest..that being whisper…Triple OG spot rite here..me and my homie geeked about this a few days ago..we were so happy it was back..we even took a bet to see how long until some Fortnite asshole made a video about the “NEW” farm😂😂😂
