Interesting fact the crime "grand theft auto" refers to stealing an unattended parked car. Stealing a moving car(which is what u do most of the time in the games) is called "hijacking" but I guess "Hijack 5" isn't as cool as "Grand Theft Auto 5"

Strange how you didn't mention how GTASA & GTAV sparked roleplay servers which in turn brought millions of dollars to rockstar due to the sales purely made because people wanted to play FiveM (Roleplay). SO many bought the game and never played story mode or at least not finished heh.
GTA 2 was my first and it was so fun. I got both GTA 3 & VC for Christmas 2002 and I played them on my old AMD k62. I was blown away from GTA 3 but VC barely played until a year or so later when I got an AMD Athlon XP and I fell in love with Vice City.

The "Ghost Town" in GTA 3 wasn't meant to be a bank heist that was cut. Its the location that the beginning cutscene takes place, its just stored outside the map so no player could see it Also you talk about the moon easter being a thing from GTA III onwards and being a GTA tradition.. that is false as it only happens in the 3D GTA games, GTA III through Vice City Stories is the only games that have that easter egg, GTA IV and V do not do that anymore
London wasn't the only place outside of the U.K. to be seen. Manchester, was a multiplayer map within a London expansion. It has it's own Gouranga joke, you run over some mods and it says "Keep London tidy" and in GTA 2 you can run over Elvises and you get Elvis has left the building. You can steal taxis and get money from the passengers, they don't ask to go anywhere so when you stop they get out wherever. People also use trains and busses, you can ride the trains but not steal them this time. You can also get minor points robbed from you by some pedestrians. You can swim in GTA 1, with walk in water, not fall in water...you drown quickly but you can hop in and out again so it's more like paddling. You can also ride and steal trains. The Stallion car is in GTA 1, so is El Burro. I liked GTA Advance. GTA might not kill kids, but other games do...games where you often play as one, and Deus Ex and The Sims.
Man it would be nice if there was a more strict law to make it harder for little kids to get a hold of a M rated game because there parents don't care about them
Cyberpunk was going to get pushed back a year or 3 but the “fans” of it where complaining and saying “it has to be done by now release the game already” even though they know nothing about coding, making video games, or anything at all because once it was released they blamed the devs and not themselves for rushing the devs to release the game early
as a kid, feeling totally immersed in the cities, fleeing there to feel at home, was great.
