You are absolutely right. This is the exact point we are discussing around time 22 minutes of the above video. Housing is a basic necessity and with the current state of complexity surrounding the documents (as discussed in the video) we all need a formal education/ awareness on these things. We all should have education on financial planning , achieving financial independence, power of compounding , importance of investing early , entrepreneurship , saving taxes and off course real estate related basics right from our school / college system. 😀
This underscores the need for a SINGLE coordinating STATE authority or Document and offices in each DISTRICT ( to process requests quickly) , which can get all the required certificates in a specified time for a specified fee.

The ridiculously archaic and centuries old system associated with property ownership and their transactions in India should not have a place in modern times. The primary measures to simplify property dealings must include unifying the process under a centralised system. Just like RTA soley control every aspect of buying and selling of vehicles, the land transactions could be brought under a single legal body. Everything related to land transactions therefore must be brought under a single authority and the language used in documents must be standardized so as to avoid confusion over different terminologies. The sale deed must be brought under a standard format and across the state the uniform system must be followed. The format should have provisions and check boxes to be ticked off wherever applicable. The registration office, village office and panchayath office must come under a unified authority under one roof so that all documentation process should be able to be completed within a day. Unless untill all documents are presented and updated, the registrar's office must not approve and authenticate transactions. These measures can help people from having to run from pillar to post at every occasion of property dealings.
The regn dept should register only if all pepers are perfect,then every thing will be automatically made perfect,here the govt is eager to get money earliest.

ചേട്ടാ ഞങ്ങൾളുടെ അധാരത്തിൽ വഴി എന്നാണ് എഴുതിയിട്ടുള്ളത് .....2006 ഇൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥലത്തു ഹോളോ ബ്രിക്‌സ് ഇന്റ ചെറിയ ഒരു യുണിറ്റ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.....ഞങ്ങൾക്കു സ്ഥലം തന്ന ആൾ ..മരിച്ചു പോയി ....അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വണ്ടി കയറാൻ ഉള്ള വീഥിയിൽ സ്ഥലം തന്നിരുന്നു ..വണ്ടി വന്നു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സ്ഥലവും ആണ്..ഇപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ മക്കൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വഴി ഇല്ല ....നടക്കാൻ പോലും ഉള്ളത് എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്....യൂണിറ്റ് തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ വീടിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള എല്ലാവരും ഒപ്പിട്ടു തന്ന പേപ്പർ കയ്യിൽ ഉണ്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ ആ യൂണിറ്റി ഇല്ല..... എനിക്ക് ഇവിടെ ഒരു പരാതി കൊടുക്കാൻ പറ്റും ...ഒരു വഴി പറഞ്ഞു തരാമോ... ഒരുപാട് നാളായി ഞങ്ങൾ അവരോടു പറയുന്നു...... ഒന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തരോ pls

The ridiculously archaic and centuries old system associated with property ownership and their transactions in India should not have a place in modern times.
The primary measures to simplify property dealings must include unifying the process under a centralised system.
Just like RTA soley control every aspect of buying and selling of vehicles, the land transactions could be brought under a single legal body.
Everything related to land transactions therefore must be brought under a single authority and the language used in documents must be standardized so as to avoid confusion over different terminologies.
The sale deed must be brought under a standard format and across the state the uniform system must be followed.
The format should have provisions and check boxes to be ticked off wherever applicable.
The registration office, village office and panchayath office must come under a unified authority under one roof so that all documentation process should be able to be completed within a day.
Unless untill all documents are presented and updated, the registrar's office must not approve and authenticate transactions.
These measures can help people from having to run from pillar to post at every occasion of property dealings.
The regn dept should register only if all pepers are perfect,then every thing will be automatically made perfect,here the govt is eager to get money earliest.
