I owned the cousin to this car, a 1968 Pontiac Strato chief, Base line GM tank lol, 250.1 Cubes of straight 6 and two speed automatic, 4 door, manual steering and brakes, yet it rolled down the highway easy and smooth at about 70 mph, as I'm sure your 68 Impala does,
