I have already spent close to $200 on market pre-orders this year and I'm still at it!!! Now that my husband is retired, I can no longer hide the incoming packages! AND I'm a quilter on top of the stitching! I no longer have a spare room in our 3 bedroom house. Good thing we don't get many (any) overnight visitors! Another stellar floss tube ladies. @@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yup, the quilting world holds two markets a year!! However, I'm slowly downsizing my quilting as cross stitch is and always has been my first love. Thinking of teaching myself to make project bags out of the tons of fabric I have. Lord knows I have plenty of projects to fill them (squirrel!). I have so many of the samplers you showed in your last video including Beatrix Potter and the companion to that one. (Quaker samplers are my favorite). Thanks to you two, I just joined Spring Green's ABC Club!! and was able to get the last one from Needlework Press!! Whoopee! I'm a good mail order customer of their's because I also have several of their quilt kits, along with cross stitch. I am also now watching Crosshatch Quilts and Nicole C. thanks to you both. Hubby is now retired so am hoping to make a road trip some day to all the x-stitch shops I've always wanted to visit including Spring Green, The Attic, and Dying to Stitch. I have made it to Sassy Jack's and thought I died and went to sampler heaven!

I totally get it!!!! I have the same experience (see my reaction when Brenda pulled out that Gigi R!!!) and seeing all the market stuff has me definitely in an H&H situation!!!!! When I go to the Attic I need a Valium!!!!!! But aren't we lucky to be so passionate about our beloved hobby! And did you see the pin cushion you created made the screen grab!!!! Oh the things you could show on a floss tube Terri!! You would cause a lot of H&H!!!!

I’m coming late to the party. Hopefully you will see this comment. I found your channel and have been binge watching each day. I used to cross stitch but then got into quilting which I love. I grew up in Wisconsin and love to hear the midwest accent which I still have. Brenda, I am married, have two grown daughters and I was an accountant (retired now). I also had a Scottie dog. You’re not left handed too are you?😂😂😂 You inspired me to order a Plum Street pattern and kit. Miss Bigley’s Library. I have a daughter who loves to read. Thank you so much. Your channel is a hoot!

Thanks again for another fabulous video - I literally laughed out loud a couple of times!! I'm for sure not going to live long enough to stitch all the charts I have and yet more are shown every week to entice me and you're not even in the retail business! I stitched in the seventies and eighties then quilting took over my life (and is still a great part) but began cross stitching again in 2018. Samplers was the only thing I had never stitched long ago that I wanted to do and now there are so many wonderful ones which I have begun to do. Thanks for sharing - look forward every week to seeing you again!
Thanks Judith!!! Yes, there are 2 million great samplers to stitch!!!!!!!!! and more coming out every day. It is a constant struggle to decide what to stitch on. I can't imagine throwing quilting in too. So many lovely fabrics!!! We are just lucky that we are passionate about our hobby. It sure keeps the happiness level up!

I retired 5 yrs ago from a very stressful job and I am loving every minute of it. Although I don't have that kind of stress anymore I still love to purchase things just for me, knowing full well I will probably never get to stitch it. It feels good!!! I moved to Wilmington NC to get away from the snow. Hubby was tired of shoveling! No shops nearby. Maybe Raleigh has one, but that’s 2 hours away, Thank heavens for floss tubers like you!

You have inspired me to try a sampler. I was visiting my daughter who lives close to Sassy Jacks so of course I had to shop. I purchased Mary Clayton and have not yet decided if I should try silks for the first time. There are quite a few color changes in that sampler but it is absolutely gorgeous in real life!!! As were quite a few others. I always make notes when I watch you because you show the most beautiful things.

I have already spent close to $200 on market pre-orders this year and I'm still at it!!! Now that my husband is retired, I can no longer hide the incoming packages! AND I'm a quilter on top of the stitching! I no longer have a spare room in our 3 bedroom house. Good thing we don't get many (any) overnight visitors! Another stellar floss tube ladies. @@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yup, the quilting world holds two markets a year!! However, I'm slowly downsizing my quilting as cross stitch is and always has been my first love. Thinking of teaching myself to make project bags out of the tons of fabric I have. Lord knows I have plenty of projects to fill them (squirrel!). I have so many of the samplers you showed in your last video including Beatrix Potter and the companion to that one. (Quaker samplers are my favorite). Thanks to you two, I just joined Spring Green's ABC Club!! and was able to get the last one from Needlework Press!! Whoopee! I'm a good mail order customer of their's because I also have several of their quilt kits, along with cross stitch. I am also now watching Crosshatch Quilts and Nicole C. thanks to you both. Hubby is now retired so am hoping to make a road trip some day to all the x-stitch shops I've always wanted to visit including Spring Green, The Attic, and Dying to Stitch. I have made it to Sassy Jack's and thought I died and went to sampler heaven!

I’m coming late to the party. Hopefully you will see this comment. I found your channel and have been binge watching each day. I used to cross stitch but then got into quilting which I love. I grew up in Wisconsin and love to hear the midwest accent which I still have. Brenda, I am married, have two grown daughters and I was an accountant (retired now). I also had a Scottie dog. You’re not left handed too are you?😂😂😂 You inspired me to order a Plum Street pattern and kit. Miss Bigley’s Library. I have a daughter who loves to read. Thank you so much. Your channel is a hoot!

Thanks again for another fabulous video - I literally laughed out loud a couple of times!! I'm for sure not going to live long enough to stitch all the charts I have and yet more are shown every week to entice me and you're not even in the retail business! I stitched in the seventies and eighties then quilting took over my life (and is still a great part) but began cross stitching again in 2018. Samplers was the only thing I had never stitched long ago that I wanted to do and now there are so many wonderful ones which I have begun to do. As always you made my day! Not only do I love seeing all your WIPs, etc but the "Why Haven't I Finished/Started" has increased my already abundant list of what I NEED!!! Love your humor and your selfless nature to keep designers going...that is my story too. Brenda, what a haul. I love everything you got! I think retail therapy works very well when you are stressed. I retired 5 yrs ago from a very stressful job and I am loving every minute of it. Although I don't have that kind of stress anymore I still love to purchase things just for me, knowing full well I will probably never get to stitch it. It feels good!!! I have to tell you I just laugh out loud at some of your facial expressions or comments. What fun to watch you, please do continue and make them as long as you like! Thank you for all the fun you bring to me. Hope we will meet up again someday.

Brenda and the Serial Starter my Instagram name is thewanderingstitcher. It will be 7 months the beginning of March that I have been stitching, so I’m very new, but I fell down the hole DEEP! It didn’t take long before I was hoarding linen, and buying pattern after pattern!! Every other week I do my part to keep the designers and my LNS in business😉

Brenda and the Serial Starter unfortunately we never met. I am retired so I would go to Inspired Needle during the day. It would have been great to hang out with you two. I moved to Wilmington NC to get away from the snow. Hubby was tired of shoveling! No shops nearby. Maybe Raleigh has one, but that’s 2 hours away, Thank heavens for floss tubers like you!

You have inspired me to try a sampler. I was visiting my daughter who lives close to Sassy Jacks so of course I had to shop. I purchased Mary Clayton and have not yet decided if I should try silks for the first time. There are quite a few color changes in that sampler but it is absolutely gorgeous in real life!!! As were quite a few others. I always make notes when I watch you because you show the most beautiful things.

Hello - I always use sheet protectors for my patterns but never thought about the rings to hold them together. Thanks for tip! Laura - congrats on all your finishes - that are lovely.
