True. Spider-Man went to PC, but I'm happy for PC since they get garbage from Xbox every single time. Might as well give them our exclusives to show them what real great games look like. And about the only great game that Xbox has is Halo. But even then only the campaigns are good.

Sure there's a lot of disappointment when it comes to exclusives, but there's still some utility to owning an Xbox. I'm not loyal to any company as I play on all platforms, but I love the value of Gamepass even for third-party and older games I missed. The value proposition of a game console is better than most entertainment when you consider that you spend $500 for a device that you can enjoy daily for almost a decade.
Brothers and Sisters, I'm telling you right now...Starfield is going to be monetized to hell and back. Probably won't be Diablo Immortal level monetization, but expect it.
They're not even the same game brotha. Starfield uses the NMS format but adds the singleplayer RPG that Bethesda is known for. The Star Citizen and NMS subreddits are literally lit up in excitement of finally getting a space game like those other games but heavily narrative driven.

@@jgunner94 im gonna guess 10 or so planets will be handcrafted and the rest will be procedurally generated there's just no way it could be more than that and no the best thing would be a solar system with a couple dozen planets im sure noone is gonna explore even a 10th of those planets unless there is stuff to do in them but i can see this game getting very repetitive ans it doesnt help that the combat looks alittle wonky.

Unless there’s like no other systems and abilities within the combat then fair enough but I’m sure they’re holding off on that. They don’t have to have all the planets filled with crafted content so I’m sure they’ll manage a lot more than 10.

I think that Microsoft's conference could have easily been better if they had concrete release dates. The excuse of "it's coming out in the next 12 months" doesn't cut it because we are all too familiar with delays.

He didn’t say that, he said 1000 planets. 90% of them will probably be procedurally genererated so the the sole purpose of being there for farming resources. Not every planet will be randomly generated though. The main solar system was handcrafted by the devs along with the big cities.

Nagoshi-san was creative chief officer of Sega and board of directors at Sega Sammy Holdings when that deal was made. It takes some time for Atlus to port three games. Atlus would only port their legacy games if they got a big bag of money. And Devil Survivor/TMS #FE team making a game for PlayStation and Xbox platforms that used to only work on Nintendo platform since DS. But Soul Hackers 2 is not going to Gamepass day one. Soul Hackers 2 began development in 2018 and later on the Persona collection deal was made Old games have been announced at TGA last year and now Xbox Bethesda Showcase. The tradition continues to focus on new games and projects at Persona Super Live for Japanese audience arranged by Sony Music Solutions. Whatever happened with P4U2 port and P3P/P4G/P5R ports doesn't matter in the end.

At the time I was still high on Xbox, and xb360 so it pissed me off, but it's the truth... Microsoft is mediocre af. I'm no fan of any particular company, nor console but Sony is far superior. I've got a PS5 and I was waiting to purchase a series X, but I see no reason to when all the best is on Playstation.

Also, I'm concerned about StarField, as they didn't say the worlds were procedurally generated, so I can only assume that down the line they will start doing an Elders Scrolls Online thing by adding new planets and systems and making you have to buy them, before you can travel there. That would be kinda lame, but I'm sure it's coming. I'm not sure I would give it such a low score either, that was tough love right there. LMAO!
Insomniac is a smaller studio and they still putting out better stuff than Bethesda, and Sony paid penny’s to buy Insomniac compared to MS when they bought Bethesda.

Sure there's a lot of disappointment when it comes to exclusives, but there's still some utility to owning an Xbox. I'm not loyal to any company as I play on all platforms, but I love the value of Gamepass even for third-party and older games I missed. The value proposition of a game console is better than most entertainment when you consider that you spend $500 for a device that you can enjoy daily for almost a decade.

They're not even the same game brotha. Starfield uses the NMS format but adds the singleplayer RPG that Bethesda is known for. The Star Citizen and NMS subreddits are literally lit up in excitement of finally getting a space game like those other games but heavily narrative driven.

Unless there’s like no other systems and abilities within the combat then fair enough but I’m sure they’re holding off on that. They don’t have to have all the planets filled with crafted content so I’m sure they’ll manage a lot more than 10.

I think that Microsoft's conference could have easily been better if they had concrete release dates. The excuse of "it's coming out in the next 12 months" doesn't cut it because we are all too familiar with delays.

The reason they didn’t give dates is so if they aren’t ready, they can internally delay it and nobody in the public will know so we won’t be disappointed.

That statement was used to soften the blow that is the lackluster roster of titles that was shown. If all of these games come out in the next 12 months, I'll be a happy camper. However, Starfield, for example? I fully expect it to come out Holiday of 2023.

He didn’t say that, he said 1000 planets. 90% of them will probably be procedurally genererated so the the sole purpose of being there for farming resources. Not every planet will be randomly generated though. The main solar system was handcrafted by the devs along with the big cities.

MS tried to make this was some major blow to Sony when it doesn't compare to FF13 was coming to Xbox 360. That was bigger news than old ass Persona games coming to Gamepass. In other words, legacy titles. And not even the home console versions of P3 and P4, big L to pay for those ports rather than trying to let FF16 stay multiplat. Nagoshi-san was creative chief officer of Sega and board of directors at Sega Sammy Holdings when that deal was made. It takes some time for Atlus to port three games.
Atlus would only port their legacy games if they got a big bag of money. And Devil Survivor/TMS #FE team making a game for PlayStation and Xbox platforms that used to only work on Nintendo platform since DS. But Soul Hackers 2 is not going to Gamepass day one. Soul Hackers 2 began development in 2018 and later on the Persona collection deal was made
Old games have been announced at TGA last year and now Xbox Bethesda Showcase. The tradition continues to focus on new games and projects at Persona Super Live for Japanese audience arranged by Sony Music Solutions. Whatever happened with P4U2 port and P3P/P4G/P5R ports doesn't matter in the end.

Also, I'm concerned about StarField, as they didn't say the worlds were procedurally generated, so I can only assume that down the line they will start doing an Elders Scrolls Online thing by adding new planets and systems and making you have to buy them, before you can travel there. That would be kinda lame, but I'm sure it's coming. I'm not sure I would give it such a low score either, that was tough love right there. LMAO!
Insomniac is a smaller studio and they still putting out better stuff than Bethesda, and Sony paid penny’s to buy Insomniac compared to MS when they bought Bethesda.
The stuff insomniac puts out I have zero interest in. They make high quality games with no appeal to me. Bethesda on the other hand made 3 out of 5 of my all time favorite games. People just have different tastes.

Bethesda literally rereleased Skyrim god knows how many times. They have a huge following; a lot bigger than Insomniac. And also Insomniac's games aren't open world RPGs.

I have a PS5, but I bought my boy an Xbox so he could play whatever he wants on Gamepass. I seriously doubt he or I will give Starfield more than a 15 minute look. Halo was meh too. WTF are Xbox playing at. PS5 is absolutely destroying them and all they have is the fact they will serve you up mediocre fodder until you burst via a subscription model. If it weren't for my son liking Minecraft and Roblox (oh and a bit of Forza too), I'd be seriously questioning whether I was a good father for buying him this weak arsed weakness. I don't want to get into console wars, but how can you not when one of the main rivals is failing this hard?

This MS conference was PS/PC leftovers, indie multi-plats which about 90% of them will be on PS and Switch and the usual MS suspects (Forza, Grounded, Sea of Thieves, Starfield, etc.) and people talking about this is the best conference? Where is Avowed, Fable, Hellblade, State of Decay 3, Halo Infinite updates?, Outer Worlds 2, etc.?
