Some features in the Mercedes-Benz vehicles are really obscure and therefore rarely used. However they are extremely useful in everyday life, because everyone likes to simplify stuff and nobody likes complications.
This demonstration is based on some different models, but you have to check with your own car, to make sure if one of those functions is available in your particular car. Some features are optional so you have to test it out yourself.

Mitzi Hale as long as you have your key FOB on your person you can unlock your door when you hold the handle, how do you lock it once you get out without using the FOB, when I try to use the lock button inside the car it does not work and when I try to use the handle once out of the car and door is closed sometimes it locks but most of the time it does not so I have to fish the FOB out of my purse and use the lock button on it???? THANKS!

owner of 2005 500 Eclass 4matic..... LOVE this car, have kept it like new. My son got it for a trade-in with 32k miles 5 years ago.... NO ONE knew this key stuff... I DO NOW THOUGH :D One time I accidently did the roll down windows thing in Eureka Springs Ark.... I was on vacation at the time.... never did it again and those books are TOO MANY for retired people ;) Only you know what all this thing can do. THANK YOU for video

Great tips! On the topic of trunk lock how do you prevent access via the rear middle seat latch on a C300? Although inconvenient, someone can still access a trunk that way.

Thanks for your video. I'm wondering if you know about doing a soft reset on the Harmon Kardon media interface. My 2011 Mercedes SLK 350's command center is not reading data 100%. The screen is grey. The sound works as well as other features like the CD changer, so it's more of an aesthetic bother. In the past I reset the command center by simaltaneously pressing different buttons on the stereo and it worked. Unfortunately, I forgot to save how to do this. Thank you so much.

Excellent info. I have come to realize that I don't use 85% of the features on my Benz. I get in and go. I probably use my navigator the most. Thanks for this video. I'm going to watch more of them to make sure I'm getting as much out of my car as possible. Nice toes by the way.

Also summer mode: press and hold the unlock button on the key fob. Then point it at the door handle, this will result in all windows opening. Great to let the heat out! You can close all windows by pressing lock continuously in the same way as above.

There is also a holder for the gas cap on the inside of the fuel flap. I have a 2011 model so not sure if this is the same for newer models but is a handy place to keep the cap while filling up!
This will even open the sun roof - such a great feature that I use here all the time in South Carolina heat!

Dude great way of going thru owners manual in super slow motion . The excitement building value for the clip and the FX of the clip was by far better than ….
So great knowledge I have learned so far here . Thank you. I have an old triple one Mercedes Benz C200 car. It has dial lights on the inside real view mirror. If they light up red and green alternatively when I put the key on,then the car won't start . On the other hand if I try again by putting the keys on and they don't light up,then I hear the fuel pump run then it starts. How do I fix this problem Sir. Please help.
