Thanks for the video! I too have been putting my Ramblas through the paces. I do like you do, tackle insane hills... sometimes I turn around and look back behind me and have a GIANT mountain to descend before I know it lol. Fantastic bike. I broke my headlight mount under normal use. I think it's a poor design. I've been taking meticulous care of the bike but also not babying it and it's doing great! Amazed at the range and power. Well worth the money. I had to change the grips though 👍
Got me a Ramblas. Love it, rode 70miles on mother's day. Battery was at 6% using all modes, but mainly using eco and trail. Only turbo for steep hills. This is my first ebike. What are your tips for washing them? Like do i need to take the battery out while washing? New to ebikes.
Just wash and dry like a normal bike and remember to never spray a direct stream of water at any of the parts you may worry about. While everything is water resistant, it's always a good practice to use a gentle spray and a good soapy rag to remove any stubborn mud and dirt. I always remove the battery and replace the cover. The most important step will be to dry and wipe every nook and cranny that way you will know that every part of the bike was touched. Afterwards re-lube your chain and wipe to remove excess oil.
Most important is to keep cleaners and residues AWAY from the brakes and brake pads. More important than worrying about the battery or other electrical especially since Ramblas is IP67 rated. I'd still remove the battery to wash however if using a hose or low power pressure washer. Use biodegradable soap or dish soap. Brake parts cleaner (like for a car) on a rag and wipe down the brake rotors often to keep noise and squeaks down. Most importantly - just ride!
@sd5458 yes this bike has been amazing. My last trip was 70 miles in sorta wet condition here and there. I just put 200 miles on it and order cleaning supplies off amazon. Thank you for the info. I bought a disc cover cuz I've seen what you mention about not getting the disc and pad cross contaminated. Got muc off biodegradable bike wash and chain degreaser. Just wasn't sure on going about cleaning an ebike

Thanks, we have some cool ones on the way!
Where did you get the fender for the Ramblas? Just got the Ramblas Aurora and would love to find a front fender that looks that good?
That fender is made by muckynutz! We stock them at Sequim Bike Studio.

@@SequimBike Thank you. We will be there for the lavendar ride in August. If you're open that weekend, we will stop by.
@@SequimBike I’ve been looking for this for weeks! Thanks you! Do you need zip ties? Also is that the long or short
It comes with Velcro tape but I use zip ties instead. This one is the short.
