Hi Mark, great puller build, I had to make one to pull crank arms off bicycle that customers have jammed on. Maybe you could have thread cut into the top part of the broken injector then screwed a threaded bar in too pull.

      hi
on these van they 2 types the The Bosch ones do have an internal thread. but these ones are male are external threads. where the adapter screws on the top. If you watch my new video that's coming out. it's worth a watch. and you can drill and tap them if you can get at it to drill it out
thanks for watching and sub 👍👍

I have two to remove and I’m dreading it in case one or both snap. I have the extracting tool that bolts to the engine and screws to the injector but not hopeful. I will run the engine up to temp and I’ve been plus gassing it for weeks.

I've got no chance of running this to temperature and I didn't want to put a blow torch on it because it's a WD40 but it does absolutely nothing there is no gap down the side of it for any penetrating fluid at all you're defo need the proper tool, to pull these out I just don't have one have or money to buy one, but luckily I got to unscrew didn't even know it did that anyway, and then I welded that bit to some bars as you can see but they it was proper stuck!!!
I'll get hydraulic puller at some point 👍
Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍

Hi Mark, great video, I'm thinking of buying a 2009/10 vivaro 2.0, am i mad ?should i save up and buy an older vw transporter, ive a feeling the tpv's could leave you waiting on a tow?

cheers mate, so....the 2.0 one need the chain doing At 100,000 miles. the gearbox oil can also be changed. which is a good idea. You can suffer from injector fault. Which can end up costing? 1200 quid for all four. And then if you watch my videos, they do need coding in. which should be done when the injectors are done. Gearbox is bearings fail but there's a brilliant guy on the forum that repairs these and that can set you back about 800 quid for a full rebuild on the box. The forums really help you a lot with these vans and I'm always doing stuff as well. If you look after a van. it will keep going. Some of 200 300,000 miles on. as you can see, there's not much to them. bits a relatively cheap. I don't know what happened to that engine that blew a hole in the block, but it completely smashed the Conrad. I think. it had oil pump failure.
I believe the V Dub scene can be extremely expensive. and they're just as bad unless you're spending big money. But there again, if you spend big money on a Vauxhall. it's the same thing,
The new Vauxhall look really nice and one day we might get one to repair. but the retro look of the two litres. and the 1.9. seem to hold the value if they looked after. my two litres has the EGR blanked on the silver one, and will be off for mapping soon,
Just look for a van that's been looked after, that's had service work. it should be ok
thanks for Subscribe it and watching my videos.👍👍 anymore help drop us a message.

Thanks for the Reply Mark !much appreciated!. Im gonna try find one with around 200kms and some service history , a lot of vans are just abused, normally if an older van is clean and the seat is not ripped its more than likely been serviced. I looked at a 2009 vivaro last week 300kms on it, it drove lovely but the glow plug /traction/engine management light was on , and it would only rev to 3000 when stopped, so i walked away , it didnt look rusty around the injectors though. I think the newer ones are terrible 1.6 . The neighbour has a 1yr old one from his work , he said the turbo has gone twice theres no miles on it either . The T4 transporter is highly reliable but they rust, i was thinking ive a 1.9 tdi from a 97 vento running a 300tdi landrover pump so no electrics, if i could fit that to a traffic then id have a reliable van😂😂

So all Vauxhall vivaro trafic won't Rev past three grand. So don't worry about that. engine mode, glow they can snap!! head off job.
seat we fit alot of after market ones ill do this blue van at some point
i am think of a bigger motor for For one of these vans. as you see lots of vans due to. injector failure. Gearbox failure getting scrapped. So I think i'm gonna look at BMW. Cheap one 520d maybe something that's cheap. money, that the engine can go into one of these vans.
i want to try do something that somebody can do on the drive with a few modifications lets see

Hi Mark I wonder if you are able to give advice please. Our son has a Vauxhall Vivaro van and two lights keeping showing on the dash one icon is an engine the other is a hammer. He has taken it to a garage twice now as these lights do not go out, he's had them doing the fault testing and they've change the carbon monoxide filter but they do not the the cause and have given him the van back - any ideas that could help him out please - Irene

      @tinker-time  6 місяців тому

      Hi
is it a hammer or is it the spanner light? showing if it's a spanner light showing it is a service light ,and there's a sequence to turn that off,
How old is your son's van has he plugged it into a scan tool to get a proper diagnosis?
