I've sold my soul to The Ghoul FALLOUT reaction
watching Fallout for the first time

I believe they call it Filly because it was built on a landfill.
Yeah. Filly isn't Philadelphia. It's a town built on a landfill
Great reaction. I love that you just "get" the show. You get the characters. You realize that you're supposed to like the Ghoul even though he's "the bad guy." You get the humor. You understand what's supposed to be funny and what's serious. I've see many reactors not even break a smile. I'm mean, come on! "I had an Aunt as well. She got killed there once." That there is funny stuff!
Thank you! The comedy feels very a la Coen Brothers to me, and I love it.
I forgot to mention that you're the first I've seen to predict, "what are you, effing his chickens or what?" You ARE the target audience.
"if anything happens to the dog..." uh oh
Ghouls in Fallout are not undead. More like walking, humanoid tumors
Ghouls aren't dead. They're just radiation victims (very close to what real life ones end up looking like before death) that didn't die in the Fallout universe. They age very slowly, are resistant to disease and damage and most meds/chems (very hard to get high) and heal from radiation. They don't eat much food or water though they should. Because they can sometimes go feral/crazy (implied in game to be usually due to lack of food/socialization/any decency) people further hate them and kick them out of towns. Ma June told him his kind wasn't welcome here, it's because of him being a ghoul. He then shot up the town as a seasoned player does after 100s of hrs of fallout and not enjoying mouthy npcs.
Ma June's amazing. I love her so much!
It's not some go feral. They all do eventually the problem is they can go from normal to feral at any time and with almost no warning. I don't like how ghouls are treated in fallout but it's honestly understandable that people don't want them around.
13:15 Bottle caps are commonly used as currency in the wasteland because all of the machinery necessary to produce them was destroyed, so there is a limited supply, they are easy to carry, but hard to counterfeit.
In most communities, the bottlecaps are backed by whoever controls the local fresh water resources.
10:21 I have watched a TON of reactions to this series and you are the first to have guessed what the "scientific curiosity" was. Between that and the fabulous reaction right afterwards, you more than earned the sub, lol!
The lady from you, me, and the movies also guessed it (they are reviewing this on their you, me and TV channel)
The Ghoul's gun is a fairly standard lever action shotgun, but he fires explosive slugs.
I love that they lean hard into the game with no apology. In the game the player receives something called V.A.T.S. (vault assisted targeting system). Whenever the player raises their gun to shoot, certain parts of the target become highlighted, so that when the player shoots, the action switches to slow motion and they get to watch the bullet travel in slow motion before striking the target and causing it to explode in a shower of blood and guts. The ghoul is using VATS.
I just have one thing to say. The person who designed the ghouls costume knew what they were doing.
I love your reaction. You honestly just get it. I can’t say much because I don’t want to spoil anything. I can’t wait to see more of your reactions.
Many people speculate that The Ghoul modified his pistol, and make a custom "Boom" bullets, shrapnel and explosion.
Ma June may have short moment just like Dr. Wilzig, but she really steals the scene for me. Also, this show will slowly make you like Cooper/The Ghoul more and more, just like many FO series player and those unique ghoulified characters in the game.
13:36 The back of one of the bullets is shown close-up at 13:55 before it hits someone. It has 4 fins sort of giving a hint to the type of weapon. IRL you put fins on exploding tank projectiles or gyrojet/rocket propelled bullets. In the bullets case, Instead of gunpowder exploding creating gas to propel the bullet, you activate the bulllet's own supply of rocket fuel! The bullets need the fins to fly straight. If the bullet hits something hard enough it cracks, exploding the remaining fuel! If not, it passes to the next object in its path. Gotta say, "Muah ha ha ha!"!
lmao ghoulcy NATION 😭 you’re so real for that
Dog companions are coded essential in the game so dont worry about the dog
Yeah, the dog has insane plot armor in this show.
I loooovveee your reactions!!! There are so many moments where I reacted to the Ghoul in the same way as you. He is the best!!
Also, saying that you would share the Ghoul with Lucy, gurl saammee!!
Damn laura has great insights
Awesome reaction as always! Can't wait for the next one.
i have been a WHORE for Walton Goggins since Justified and so i watched this series solely for the ghoul and the ghoul only. Welcome to the family lol
The ghoul is just basically Boyd crowder. Agree?
@@jpicard81 literally LOL
I didn’t recognize her from Yellowjackets at first. Also a cool show.
Laughing at yourself because youre predicting the lines right before they say them 😂
Great reaction! So fun to watch this series again through someone else's eyes.
LMAO bottle caps are currency in fallout. Easy to carry, and limited supply(they are extremely hard to make after the apocalypse) made them an easy choice. They were adopted by merchants who assigned them value based on how much clean water they were worth. And bo ghouls are not dead they are a mutation. Exactly what causes a person to become a ghoul is unknown (usually involves lots of radiation). They are extremely tough and long lived but their skin and extremities are necrotic.
I cant help it but your Christmas outro makes a grown man shake his ass every time.
Top comment ever received.
Great reaction
7:23 No. That was not good aim. Maximus has a Luck stat of 8 or 9. Shooting a Yaou Guai with a 10mm pistol would just piss it off.
Yes, Michael Emerson was the guy from “Lost” (Ben Linus). Easily the best character in the show. Everyone else became so boring by the end.
The ghoul is my favo he is so badass😊
12:08 I won't spoil this for you, but while this is a common belief among surface dwellers, it is not an accurate description of the vaults, or their residents.
Dogmeat!
My reactions coming from last year?
I haven't got a nose either, wanna go out with me? 🤠
Clearly you have never played the games as bottlecaps are the currency in this world now
