For those curious, if you remove the bolt to the tank under the seat, you can prop the tank up with the two tabs that stick off on the same spot where the long hexbolt threads through. Remember, under the seat bolt for the tank, remove completely and lean the tank all the way up until the tabs stick behind. A breather hose may need to be popped off, easy small hose.
I’m new to my fz1 and working on bike myself but I see most that do this Lars mods usually block that ais vacuum line and ais hole on air box . Is there a reason you don’t ?

Known issue for FZ1 needs new ignition coils, you can switch positions on the existing ones if they are not worn out and see but you can get some for $70 on Amazon or R1 ones from eBay and replace all 4 of them.
Less resistance for air intake. More air loaded into the combustion makes for greater bang. More bang equals more power, if the ECU is properly flashed and accepting of the new settings for fuel/air ratio
But if it s not ecu tuned after, if i only prepare the bike and do the mode without tuning, it s gonna change something, it s gonna run lean, or it will take the same amount of air ?
The ecu tune is where most of the power is. This is just a supporting mod FOR the tune. No tune, no need for the mod. Simple as that. @@adonysmares9146 The bike is tuned for that little hole right now.

How did you kept the tank up when working in it? Isaw u used a screwdriver but sometimes is up without it.

hi, do you get others mods on it? Flashed or mapped ECU? Do you feel q difference now about torque and power?
Yeah mate there is a noticeable acceleration difference with the air box mod
but i do recommend getting the bike tuned/remapped

My engine rpm bounces up and down when I cold start it then tapers off, why is this happening? Could it be my slip on?

You can mate but you won't get the full benefit from it
