Very jealous of all those parts!!! hahaha I'm getting ready to track mine next year, but I'm just sticking with intercooler, rad, brake lines, and fresh wheels and tires.... Maaaaaybe a vented hood if it's in the budget 😁
Sounds like a great set of upgrades to start with, after a few track days you'll definitely be wanting more 👀These cars are addictive! A vented hood was one of the best things we did on our Time Attack FK8, we saw temps drop ~10℃ instantly! 🤯
The vented Hood definitely makes a difference on the track. The Acuity Reverse Flow radiator Hoses are also worth it for the price. Also recommend checking out the 27😂boost tubes unless you're going with a full intercooler piping kit. The boost tubes are a great middle ground
Awesome vid Dream!! Must have to say, I also like the rock / mud guards that their car has fitted! I’m looking for a decent set as well! Any recommendations as the set I’ll buy will be on the car permanently ❤👍👍😃😃😃😃
You must be some kind of a mechanic, you install everything with such ease , no trouble. I wish you was near, i would ask you to put parts on, or walk me through it.
The FL5 is rocking a set of our own Spirit-R wheels 🙌Check them out: www.civictyperparts.com/products/dream-automotive-spirit-r-fully-forged-wheels-honda-civic-type-r-fk8-fl5-k20c1-2-0t-2017
I just ordered hel's oil cooler. Somewhat curious, does the oil cooler on the hel affect the cooling of the left front brake? According to what you said in the video, the oil cooled air splits half the air. On top of that, I also installed racebred front scoops, is there anything in particular I should be aware of regarding the holes cut in the hel oil cooler?
Thanks for watching! We've not noticed any reduction in brake cooling when running this kit 🙌 When drilling through the HEL Oil Cooler to make space for the Racebred cables, there's nothing you need to worry about drilling into, it's blank space through there 💪
I wish you were located in Southern California. 🥹 I do like working on my fk8 but I like the care and thought you put into installing parts in this platform.
Each one of these FK8 build videos just makes my shopping list longer 😀.
We often fit parts to customer cars and then want them for our own!! We feel ya 😅
Some great mods going on this one. The HEL oil cooler looks like a really great piece of kit.
It is a great bit of kit! The results are great too, definitely an important upgrade for regular track day drivers 💪Thanks for watching!
Dream Automotive at it again 🤛 , another brilliant build Road/Track Monster
Thanks Jason 😎💪
I love this build
Looks amazing, doesn't it! 😍😍

That is one amazing build 😊 👏
where can i find silver rear indicator bulbs for my 2018 Civic Sport Hatch? i hate the orange that the OEM bulbs reflect in the tail light

Hi Darren, Alastair has confirmed that they are RokBlokz mud flaps! 💪Thanks for watching!
@@DreamAutomotive Awesome thank you so so much for finding out for me, it’s greatly appreciated thank you. 👍👍😃😃😃😃
How did you get the tow hook in the front without needing to trim the front garnish?
Take a look at 16:40 for a close up of the front hook going through the garnish 👍

What are the wheels attached to the fl9 sir?

“splitter” sorry for choosing the weird word😂

@@DreamAutomotive Thank you so much!!!
Measure once, drill twice 😅
Oh no another usdm
Please, put proper oil in this engine!
What's your suggestion?
why do people run mudflaps on fk8's 🤮ruins the side profile
Each to their own! A lot of UK owners opt for mud flaps to help prevent stone chips down the side of the car 🙌
I agree they're very controversial because it's not a rally car. But i like these ones from RokBlokz because they're rigid and don't flap about.

We're happy to hear that our efforts don't go un-noticed! 😁 Thanks for watching!
